Tries to prevent victims of human trafficking from getting an education and escaping credit card debt. Not until they pay every last cent of their credit card bill! Now that’s not the law of the land or even the policy of RBC, but it is in the mind of an advisor I was unfortunate enough to be paired with. This financial advisor “Smith” guy is a major hypocrite because he is in school with a loan despite having personal debts himself. Very bad, part of the prison industrial complex and employs bad agents that support state-sanctioned violence and eugenics.

Service was okay. But they didn't follow up with the request. It is unfortunate that RBC services are not up to par with other banks and credit card companies.

I had a lovely experience at this branch this morning with Kara/Cara, who I felt went above and beyond. Thanks for making my morning! It's worth noting that customer service agents are not a dime a dozen and are integral to representing a business. In this case, you've got a superstar.

I had an appointment in this RBC location with Anjana Donald in September. I went through my credit card application. But now it is November and I m still waiting for my credit card. I went over there for my application status like 4-5 times they told me they called and left voice mail to Anjana Donald but I never got a call back. Other employees kept neglecting me and gave me different numbers but none of them were answering. It was the worst experience. Didn't expect this, it was very disappointing try to avoid making this branch as your home branch.

Waited here yesterday for 35-40 mins 1 teller serving 6-7 clients while an Asian teller served an Asian client speaking in their language customers obviously annoyed some being on their lunch breaks asking for more staff to be deployed no manager to be spoken too cause on vacation both the staff and the client paying no mind to countless customers complaining about the client should be asked to book an appointment more staff is needed and the Asian teller needs retraining for busy situations like this not impressed all I wanted was 2 rolls of loonies for laundry …. Do better RBC

I was delighted to know that I was able to retrieve money from my auto saving account right from the machine and with the help of the banking officer she was quiet and worked at a calm fast pace.while I was wondering what's going on she fixed my debit card from blocked threads and use at the machine. I messed up with payments and they had no problem with issuing me another card.just call in and they mail you a card with in 7 business days or so.friendly and help with online banking app.no problem to get back into your account.just be calm and follow along.easy instructions and codes to use in oder to recover locked banking app.

Excellent service and professionalism by the tellers, and I would especially like to thank Cara for their speedy assistance in a unorthodox problem that I was facing! The General Manager was also quite welcoming and individually talking to the customers while we waited our turn, which felt great to see and helped set a good atmosphere for the branch.

Had a wonderful experience at this branch recently! I had lost my debit card and with that, my information to access my online banking. There was a short wait, and everyone was very pleasant and followed covid protocols. As I had to provide 2 pieces of ID, I had those out of my wallet ready to go and the branch manager was so appreciative of this! I don't recall my tellers name, but she was so lovely and chatted with me as she was getting things done on her side so it felt like no time at all! I will definitely return here to continue any in branch banking needs.

A mistake was made at the Upper James branch where they processed a transfer request early instead of my instruction to cancel the transfer - instead of digging into the issue, the advisor had lied and said I had given them the go ahead to transfer. Decided to phone the Locke St location since I heard great reviews about their customer service and am SO glad that I did. The advisor was able to find out exactly what happened and apologize for the inconvenience as well as reimbursing the transfer fee I had incurred from the transfer i wished to stop.

I understand how businesses are short staffed but when the line for the tellers is so big. Social distancing is almost impossible. That should tell you that maybe a manager shoud get on the desk instead of hidding in the back.

Amazing experience. The advisors are very kind and friendly, this branch is not like a big brach where everyone's busy and nobody cares. The client specialist is also friendly. Good job Mrs. Alilonu.

Terrible, slow customer service. Teller seems to lack knowledge and lacked confidence. Small bank with no interest in acting like it’s larger counterparts. Go to a bigger location. Stoney creek Rd. Royal Bank is the only one in Hamilton I have had positive customer experience in.

Very friendly staff! If you have to wait, it's usually because someone else is getting efficient service, just like you will! Love this bank!

Far too few staff. I do online banking for everything except what is absolutely necessary (like today).

Royal Bank customer service policy: close branches, reduce tellers and waste the customers' time.

I would have my cheque filled out but there are no pens.

Worst worst worst bank. Worst people ever here. Visit other branch. SCOTIA BANK is same charges and very good in customer service.on my the last visit, that lady on counter put stamp opposite way on very important certificate. Also I had to request her 3 times just for stamp with date and branch.and she did not sign on my statement of net worth paper. She was rude and seemed like she did not want to work or help. Worst customer service ever experienced. I wish I could share picture of his worst job. I wonder why even she is working in that branch. Never had such experience with other branch.

Just the worst RBC.been a customer for years, visited multiple branches in multiple cities. They are rude, unprofessional and not interested in helping you. I was called "Hunny" by one of the employees. Will take my business to any other RBC, in the future.

One of the slowest Royal Banks I have ever been in. I even used to work for an RBC, so I know how long a lot of transactions should take. Customer service is one thing, but then there is just slow and that is this branch. The slowness of most Royal Banks makes me want to switch to TD, but no more than this one does.

Worst customer service ever. I waited for 40 minutes to deposit a cheque. All I got was no you can’t do it. No apologies. The lady called Lisa was super dismissive. Not trying to be helpful but instead blamed me for being “unreasonable”. Never going to bank with RBC again.
