Absolutely the worst branch. Horrible customer service, rude tellers and an incompetent management staff. Stay away at all cost.

I met with Mr. Rizah Mubarak to open my first account with RBC, and he was super helpful and kind!

Waste of time. One hand does not talk to the other. Please be aware that they may say one thing upon arrival and then after waiting around for over 20min say something completely different. I would not use this branch if it is not absolutely necessary. I am a small business owner and it may be adequate for simple day to day banking but certainly not for anything important like my small business needs. I do not recommend this branch for business needs.

Only 2 tellers working, seemingly both on their first day. Stood in line for 30 minutes and neither could finish a single transaction the entire time so I left. Literally 30 minutes and neither of them could finish helping 1 person.

I had a great first experience at this branch. The Teller was super helpful and even called me later in the day to let me know my issue has been resolved. I will be coming back here again. Thank you.

Very pure costumer service. First of all I made an appointment. They called me 35 minutes later. Second the agent had different numbers when he looked into my account. How is that possible? He couldn't answer of course and he couldn't help me with my consurne because he wasn't able to see my transactions. Then he told me to get in touch with the number on the back of my RBC Credit Card. The number was suggesting me to make an appointment with an RBC agent again. I've called back and for some reason he had access to my transactions. The call was not helpful. They've wasted my time and didn't solve my problem. It's time to decentralize these institutions. They have my money, they charge fees for to many things but don't care about a customer service. Thank you for opening my eyes RBC. Let's give a try with cripto, it might works better then these institutions.

1) There is no direct number to customer service at this branch. Just a central answering hub who connects to this bank’s voicemail and you need to know your party’ extension number. Useless if you don’t have a specific contact name. This matters because I needed info about my account, and couldn’t contact anyone who could help me.
2) Given the opportunity to assist a client, they choose roadblocks instead. Due to a transit number error (my error), my insurance payment went into another account. Alma (branch manager) and Haniffa (bank rep) have chosen for 2.5 months to help the person whose account it went into accidentally rather than me. They tell me the insurance company needs to retract the funds, which is reasonable. However, when the insurance tried (4 times) they were told they can’t withdraw the money without permission from the person who received it in error. This person doesn’t answer or reply to their calls (duh, who would volunteer to give up $2000?). Then the insurance is told they will do it, but it takes two weeks, then right back to “we can’t do that”. After just waiting 2 weeks for them to sort this out (after 2 months with customer care and another teller at this branch) they tell me again “Tell your insurance to call customer care” and will not provide a contact name to help us out. This has been 2.5 months and they refuse to offer a name of someone for my insurance to speak to, just “the back office/customer care”.
I sincerely hope that if these ladies are ever at the mercy of someone who could help them, that person chooses not to. It should be noted that my insurance has been so helpful and amazing through all of this and are stunned at the hurdles they are asked to jump through to sort this out.

I was going to open an account there. Mmm. I think I might try. When someone is rude to you. Ask them to repeat themselves again but louder and again so they can make a fool of themselves over and over again in front of everyone. That's what I would do as a seasoned senior. Then say"hope you have a better day tomorrow.

Had to pop in, in person to open a new account, only to be told that the "appointment at the Woodbine & Danforth Branch" was actually a phone call.
Vlad, our fearless teller/customer service rep, took matters into his own hands and made time for us even though his schedule seemed to aleady be quite full.
He took care of our banking needs quickly, and with a cheerful disposition to boot.
We were very impressed with the service we received.

Tried all day to reach someone on the phone about fraudulent activity, finally after 5th attempt and 30 minutes of waiting and listening to recording, someone picked up and transferred me to extension which went to voicemail and the mailbox was full. Couldn't leave a message, tried pressing 0 # * even 69 to get some lady interested in talking to me again but no, call was disconnected and back to square one. Battery died, so will try tomorrow. Looks like they have zero star service. Oh forgot to add that I can't find an email address for this branch so I can try contacting them that way.

Worst customer service - wish I could give in zero stars! At noon time just one teller and a very long line up - completely unacceptable!

Tellers are polite and professional, personal bankers and assistant manager are aggressive, rude and totally unprofessional. The assistant manager has no business being in business.
He was sarcastic, made ubsurd faces and through a hissy fit, reading these reviews it seems to be the norm at this branch.

If I could give this branch 0 stars I would. I have never witnessed customer service so poor. The "assistant manager" Andrew Knight is more sassy and rude than a 13 year old girl. He genuinely enjoys giving attitude to customers, and looks for a rise out of his coworkers- I guess it makes him feel important?
I will never return to rbc again- someone like this has no place in a customer service position.

Recently opened up a new account there. Friendly front desk staff, and the account manager was very helpful and knowledgeable too. I really enjoyed my visit there.

Don't be shocked by some 1 star review. This is one of the best RBC branches in Toronto. Nice and friendly staff.

The worst behavior ever had from a desk teller and especially from the manager (woman) who lied shamelessly! I WILL MOVE ALL MY accounts to another bank! RBC goodbye!
