Bank reps don't always show up to online appointments. Had same experience multiple times over last 6 months. Manager Baljeet reached out after I filled out a survey and promised to follow up, but nothing except lip service. Disappointed and decided to close my account with them.

Terrible service, managment only truly helps people that they know, set an account up over the phone for 2 hours was told i qualify for a promo and went in waited another hour just to be told i dont qualify? Why waste my time

Shoutout to Mr. Bosco Idicula from RBC Cooksville Branch. Our financial advisor who assisted us open an account with my wife. He was very professional and very friendly who treated us like a VIP from start to finish. We're so glad that we've met and want to say thank you and we appreciate your effort! Rbc bank is literally a joke, for some reason they seem to think they are special compared to other banks. But in reality just make it a nightmare to bank with them. Bank anywhere else if you want to avoid cross bank issues.

I have booked a few phone appointments and have never gotten the phonecall. I booked most recently with Parul Bheda - same thing. I even emailed Parul after to ask, what happened? Can we reschedule? And of course no response to my email. I’ve booked with another branch at this point.

An experience from my father (senior) :
Mutual Funds Rep Ahmed Abdalla was very helpful and patient with me. He provided great insights and explained the processes with respect to savings and tax free accounts. He is an absolute professional and very approachable. Would highly recommend him and the branch as I've had great experiences here.

One of the dat lady at the teller treated me so bad. I went to her for two things and in the middle of the conversation she told me you have to say thank you to me.like what? I am not even done. Am I a child to be asked to say thank you. I think she treated me like that because of me being people of colour but she herself of is black!

Long wait times even with 8 tellers. Avoid especially mornings, lines are long and staff is few.

Staff isn’t rude or anything, but they make a lot of time consuming mistakes. Go to a different branch and save yourself the wait.

I am not sure RBC folks in Dundas watches their time for meeting we schedule a call @1000AM, EST today as of now 1015 AM no one calls me. The meeting was schedule in their portal few days back however no sign of response yet. At least not have a courtesy to text me for delay.poor folks.need improvement.

I had very bad experience in this Branch few days back when I went there to open a bank account. The website is showing offer but the person named Govind didn't want to give the offer, later called the service desk and went there after couple of days accepted the offer and opened the account with another person. Very unprofessional.

Timing are not always helpful. No ATM available in branch after business hours. Drive thru has no deposit only withdraw. Was stuck in an emergency and timing.

There was a Karen in Blonde Hair who refused to release my cheque and said there was no way on earth for it to be cleared until 4 days. So, I knew that moment i will close my RBC account and stick with TD. Today, Your money is not yours if banks are involved so plz invest and promote Bitcoin.

I been banking with rbc for 12 years my bussines doesn't have less than 90k at least through my account every month, I have good standing with rbc and they still hold my cheque for 3 days very very very inconvinece am looking for another bank

RBC would be a great place to bank, but the Banking on Climate Chaos 2021 report states that RBC is ranked as the top bank in Canada investing in fossil fuels and #5 in the world with over $200 billion invested since 2016. Try a credit union instead.

The branch has good infra-structure. Customer service is worst especially managers, financial advisors. Very judgmental towards immigrants especially Asian community. Mortgage application -extremely bad experience as they will try to show many problems in your application. Hence watch out if you want to get mortgage approval.

If i could give 0 stars i would but its not an option. The tellers are super slow. They draw their feet. Hopefully not all of the rbc branches are like this. NEW STAFF NEEDED! I was pretty disappointed and annoyed that only 3 tellers were working especially it being a Friday. Ppl shouldn't have to wait 15 mins to see a teller to do a simple complex transaction. Beginning to think rbc is worse then td.

By far the worst RBC branch I have ever visited. Customer service is non existent. Bank draft with no line took 25 minutes. Tellers don't even know what they are doing or how to work with computers. Avoid at all costs.

If I could give 0 stars and still post this review, I would. Hands down the most inefficient bank I have ever visited. It takes at least 20 mins to get to a teller (because on a Friday evening somebody felt it would be appropriate to go down to 1 single teller for the last hour of the evening). And once you get to the teller, it takes about 4x the amount of time to make a deposit that it would at any other bank. Ed specifically lacked basic customer service skills, was downright condescending and going against what another bank teller had advised me of 2 weeks prior at this same location. I have never had such a hard time depositing cash.ever, both into my own account and somebody elses. If you can get your car loan through any other bank, do it. Without an actual bank card, this bank is a giant waste of time. Alot at least 30 mins of your day for a very simple deposit through their tellers. Bank transactions would be 10x easier through any other bank.

Business services counter was closed. I waited for the receptionist to ask a quick question and she did not even look at me. She was trying to open the box for printing cartridge and did not bother saying hello or just a minute. I waited few mins there that she will talk to me but she was too busy with the cartridge. I am disappointed.
