After digesting so many terrible reviews on banks in Ajax I decided to go with RBC based on my wife's excellent 30+ yr track record and it was the right choice! On the heels of a horrific episode with Scotiabank across the street I went in to the RBC Harwood branch and Lucia was amazing! She had a few 'wrinkles' to iron out in the process of opening an account but her patience, understanding and professionalism was outstanding? It's a pleasure to know that some people still CARE about other people THANK YOU!

Needed a certified cheque and advice for adding a second credit card. Two Tellers on the booth, one busy with a customer, the other was sorting papers. She had noticed me right away but did not say a word and let me wait 5 minutes.
I dont mind waiting if its busy but I was the only customer beside the one that was being served.
I talked after to a manager about adding a second credit card to my business account and the requirement around it. She couldnt answer it and said she would call me on my phone after getting the information. I never received the call. Seems I was not important enough. Unlike so many other branches, this one seems to be fallen off the RBC customer relations standard.
