I don't typically write reviews, but my recent experience at RBC was exceptional. Trevor handled a challenging situation with kindness and patience. I never felt rushed, and he resolved the issue in under 30 minutes. Thank you, Trevor!:)

Horrible customer service - just two people working in a busy downtown branch with a long line up of customers - If I could I would give them zero stars.

Very appreciative of great customer service received at this RBC at Bay & Dundas. I am both a personal, as well as, a business banking client. Today, I was transacting on behalf of my employer and forgot to keep copies of the cheques I deposited. Luckily, I was able to go back & both Dan & Jayden were kind enough to retrieve & provide me with the cheque copies despite the rush. It’s especially important to acknowledge good service and goodwill when encountered. This will become my branch of choice for business banking.

Do not go here. I wanted to wire money and the guy at the counter tried to get me to save money and made me do the incorrect transaction type.

Wow. This is quite possibly the worst RBC branch I’ve ever been to. I went in to verify my ID to confirm my student status and to have my accounts changed accordingly. I had explained to the teller that I had spoken with customer service prior and that everything should be set up and all that I had to do was bring my ID. My experience was equivalent to speaking to a brick wall. After 20minutes of back and forth I was assured my accounts were changed to student status.

However, when I went into online banking there were no changes to my accounts. Had to go into another branch to deal with the issues.

Absolute waste of time going to this branch.

Worst customer service I’ve ever received! I would rate zero if I can. The woman standing at the reception desk is so rude and she refused to help customers. I shut down my RBC account because of my experience in this branch.

Never do any business in this branch. The branch manager (Rosemarie) is very disrespectful and treats you very unprofessionally. Although she has accent, too but she pretends she doesn’t understand your sentences when she wants to avoid helping you. I had to close my account due to her behaviour and lack of support after ups and downs. RBC should consider promoting right people for the job.

From start to finish my experience was horrible. Customer service I received was awful. Had my time wasted today and as a result will be doing my banking with another bank from now on.

Go to literally any other rbc. The staff at this location is so rude. I dont understand. Considering its location, wouldnt this be one of their flagships. Why would you allow this location of alll locations to be so disgusting? I worked at rbc for over a year. At some of the busiest locations in the GTA. The blame should be on the manager. Fire that person

I went there for an wire transfer. I guy didn’t have access so he sent me another person. She looked at the paper, which had all the information for wire transfer. She started me asking question and started confusing me all the details are not there and she can’t. Then today I went to another branch near st patriks. It was done smoothly there.
I wasted my 1 n half hr at this branch.

My experience was really pleasant, advisors I dealt with were Rosemary and David. Quick and professional. Was there on Saturday around noon, one person behind me in line, two in front. In and out in under 15mins

The staff at this branch have zero knowledge, and inexperienced. Why is this branch even operating? First time dealing with this Bay and Dundas location and I am amazed at how clueless the staff are. Wow! I actually had to double check if I was at an RBC because it isn't like the other.

I would give 0 review but there is not option. I closed my bank account with RBC because the bad experience with this branch. Very unprofessional people and the manager of this branch does not care about the complain of the customer. I dont get why this branch have some good review it must be from the same people that work there. Please dont go to that branch. I agree with the customer that say that always is a long line waiting and very bad service

Service takes forever and they don’t care. One teller (male, red hair, mustache/goatee with glasses chatting up some Asian chick you can tell he wants to hook up with) other teller taking her time with older woman and talking about personal stuff while the rest of us were waiting in line to get our business done so we can get on with our day. Too much casual activity and chit chatting in a workplace, not enough working.

This is one of the better branches downtown.
Service is great and the staff are very knowledgeable.
I do alot of banking and I am happy to say this location is fantastic.

Very slow service. Was in line for 15 minutes with 8 other people and I was the second person. Only had two tellers working and a guy, that I assume is the Manager, standing at the back watching. After five minutes you would think his would assist clients. If he is above that then at least tell chatty teller to speed things up in order to clear the line. Spent over half an hour there and all I had to do was transfer some money to the US.
Location has two ATMs but occasionally you will find it is quite dirty in that area.
Always someone sitting outside door begging for change.

Always slow. Never enough staff. Received incorrect advice multiple times which costed money to fix. Go elsewhere!

I waited over 20 min on line watching 5 staff behind the desk but only 2 actually taking customers. The other 3 where talking about the last night at the bar and how much fun they have while they drink Aroma or Starbucks coffee.
As a regular customer I can see the turnover is an issue there. Is hard to make connection with any cashier because after a few weeks/months they are gone, and the few left has to train the new ones. So don't be surprised if you waiting for your transaction to be done and but a 'new' staff come over to your cashier asking questions, they will left you behind not even asking permission and adding extra time. WORST RBC Bank in downtown by far!
