RBC Royal Bank

Few tellers. Most noticeably beginning of months, govn't cheques issued.
Always busy. Long line-ups.

Already a bad customer service experience, automated phone service doesn't allow you to connect with anyone at the branch to ask a simple question. I remember when this branch & staff were amazing, boy have times changed & not for the better.

The branch manger Delia is very rude, condescending and shouldn’t be in her position, Rbc needs to give their head a shake employing people with this kind of attitude. She talks over you, she is not willing to help in any way and she hangs up on you when she doesn’t like what you’re saying.

You guys have always been open until 8 pm on Thursdays. You are the only bank that was open that long very disappointed to find that it was closed at 5 pm. Will be switching to a bank with more convenient hours. You guys do not cater to blue collar workers

Took 4 hrs off work to go add info to my rrsp account because rbc has terrible hours. When I arrived and checked in for my appointment I was met by the adviser rog (or however u spell it). Long story short, he does not know how to do his job. I was told I cannot add my info to my RRSP account Unless I'm making a withdrawal. So after leaving the bank I called the bank 1 800 number to confirm what he had said. Low and behold i can add this information to my rrsp account and he just didn't know how to do it, you should really either train your employees or no how to do your job when you become a financial advisor. So now I have to take the 4 hours off of work plus probably another few hours in the next couple of days to go and add this information to my bank account. When he could have done it? While I was there just another reason why I don't do banking with RBC.

You should avoid this branch of the bank. Better go to another one with more friendly and customer-oriented staff. After talking to them, I didn't want to deal with this bank again. I hope this doesn't happen again.

After being given the runaround, I finally got someone to answer my questions and in 20 minutes my documents were signed. That you Janice Davis

Hope to put no stars but there’s no option for that. Anyways, please avoid this bank at all cost! I’ve been with them for 8 years, everything was fine until the pandemic happened. Piece of advice don’t put your loyalty on something or someone that’s not worth / deserve it. They are the only bank of mine who sent me to litigation. The rest of my banks THEY UNDERSTAND my situation and gave me time to pay my debts. I Hope what you did to me or to your millions of clients won’t come back to you. After 8 years that I never missed my payments this is what I get? Just because I only missed some payments for the things that’s not on my control…they did this to me. Well it shows what kind of bank they are. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED. Never ever again RBC.
