There's an employee named Jessica who has now TWICE refused to help me. For the latest offence, on Nov. 16,2023, Jessica, still sitting in her chair, waived me over when I entered the branch. There was only one other client being served by a standing teller already. When I requested to open a safety deposit box, Jessica said that it was too busy and that we'd have to make an appointment. Let me be clear: there was only one other client at the branch who was being served by another teller already. There was literally nobody else at the bank. Jessica was completely unapologetic and just let us walk out. She didn't even offer to schedule an appointment for us. It was very clear to me that she didn't want to stand from a sitting position. Something similar occurred with this exact employee before. I suspected then and am completely sure that this employee is incredibly lazy and will make any excuse to get out of doing any work.

After I left this branch, I went to the Lyden Rd.branch where it was much more busy. The minute I mentioned to a teller at this branch, they got working right away.

I've been an RBC client since the 1990s and I know a little about which matters I need to make appointments for before I show up at a branch. Jessica's behaviour at 22 Colborne St, Brantford, branch was extremely rude out of sheer laziness. She should not be servicing clients in a service industry.

This was the funniest experience I've had at line up at the bank in a long time. I was wearing earphones listening to music pretty loud I was so zoned out that I couldn't understand why everyone else was starring at me.then I remembered that fart I had let out a min ago was alot louder than I thought. I couldn't hear it so I assumed that neither did they I was wrong. But nothing compares to the epic "dance -off"

We were invited to renew mortgage, were sitting and waited for 1 hour to get one simple answer what is the lowest mortgage rate, , were told RBC not having open mortgages (while they were clearly listed on RBC web site), barely speaking English "specialist" gave us 4 times wrong rate, we left branch without clear answer. Received 5 times wrong documents from the same mortgage "specialist", almost signed wrong one, expressed our concerns to the same "specialist", and were named as "rude" clients. Asked for help from the branch manager, which sent out our file to another branch, saying they don't deal with "rude" clients. Such a "GREAT" service! I have clear thought how to leave RBC next time and never come back. Have to put one star to post my message, as there is no option to put negative sign in front of any star.: (

Horrible customer service every time I go, would not be going back if there was another in Brantford. Always busy the last hour never enough staff!

Too much trouble making appointments.
Often, no receptionist. No Saturday appointments. Arrows in parking lot missing.

Brutal that you cant call a branch and actually speak to a person! I dont have an account number or visa number-just want to speak to someone at the branch but the “auto attendant” will not allow a transfer to an actual human without one. I’m dealing with an estate issue for my Mother and am beyond frustrated during an already difficult time. This experience has certainly highlighted why I personally will not be looking to open anything with Royal in the future. This does not appear to be a bank of choice for customer service.

I have a personal and business account last 13 to15 years. With RBC. I will move in Branford 4 months ago! This branch all the time give me a hard time all the Time hold my check 7 to 10 days! ! Even I get the check from my company every month I don’t know how many years! And still this brunch put in the hold: (: (: (.
I’m happy to go with the TD bank next week November 2021

I am disabled and they always help me by giving me a chair to sit. Even while waiting in line. Helpful knowledgable staff

Due to poor customer service, I'm off to either Scotiabank, or CIBC. Just had enough of getting pushed off, feeling that I am bothering them and they're doing me a favour. Note: most RBC banks are sporting lower end reviews.

There is no customer restroom. The lady at the reception was really rude about it even though I asked her super nicely
