I never imagined that the level of racism would be this serious in such a bank. The employee "Elevara" was uncooperative, extremely hurtful and racist. If there was less than a star I would have given it. Unfortunately, there isn't. This does not apply to all employees

No doubt that the lady referred to in some of the reviews doesn’t know anything about customer service. She knows very well how to make you nervous from the first moment.

My business bank account was frozen for the last 7 days and bank is not letting me know the reason. I went to the branch for the past 3 days and spent 1.5 hours on the first day and 3 hours on second day and 1 hour on the 3rd day and nobody knows what’s wrong with my account. All they said is that there is a review on my account. But when the the branch manager and customer service tried to reach the national office, they didn’t even respond. And nobody know the reason. Is this how you treat your business clients? My pre authorized payments are bounced, I couldn’t pay salary to my employees, I couldn’t buy inventory, I have a huge payment coming in 2 days, I can’t even put gas on my car. All my RBC accounts are frozen. Who’s going to be accountable for my business losses? The dumbest thing I did was that I kept all my money in RBC. And all they say is, we have escalated it to higher authorities and nobody even responded. And its not the first time this is happening, many of my friends who have business accounts with RBC has faced the same challenge in the past. Also there is no proper way to communicate the issue. They don’t even have an email address to raise a complaint.

I was in this branch because there is block on my accounts, I tried to get it removed. I already visited RBC branches for 2 times, first time in the branch in Square One, I stayed there for 2hours, they told me everything was fixed at that time. Then I tried to pay my bill, still doesn’t work. Then I went to this branch and the teller told me I need to grab something to prove my address, that’s okay. After I came back and tried to get it fixed, I went to the lady in the small room, and the lady inside told me: Just go to the Chinese boy because he speaks Mandarin. Wow, what a racist!

Worst Bank in Canada! Absolutely unapproachable. You call the branch and it’ll direct you to their main line. Such a pathetic bank. I only have Insurance with them and immensely regret it.
No one should ever bother opening account at this bank.

Be aware of a lady name alvera she is very very very racists I was with rbc for 15 years never ever had any issues till I start Going to this branch she got my accounts also made some comments about our brown people like why are we in this country and all that

I have not had a good experience with this bank. I believe TD bank is a much better options for people who are new to Canada. It's been more than 2 months and I am still waiting for my credit card, according to the bank officials it is the TRANSUNION'S mistake, and they have messed up my profile. Really disappointed. Bad bad bad experience. Not at all happy

Was worried to go to this RBC because of some recent reviews, but once I entered Nadia greeted me with a smile and helped me immediately. I received my temporary bank card for my new account in less than 15 minutes. Thanks Nadia!

Advisors in the branch are pathetically pre-assumptive, have zero sensibility and only knows standard narratives. Moreover, they are not even embarrassed to share their negative critical comments on existing clients. Horrible bank with horrible staff.

I am a RBC current client of more than 5 years. Recently went to this branch to discuss renewal of mortgage. The Banking Advisor whom I talked to was Emmanuel Ojuko. He is very nice person with sound knowledge of banking.

He walked me through all the steps of renewal and did all the paperwork in a timely manner. His demeanor was very professional. Emmanuel goes out of his way to help his clients and makes sure his clients leave his office happy.

I had a wonderful experience dealing with him. I would recommend all to go see Emmanuel for banking advice.

I am sure Emmanuel is a great asset to his organization.

I just popped in and out with a very helpful teller who prepared a bank draft for me. Paul was the teller that helped me and he was very courteous and helpful. Thanks a lot.
