I visited on Monday 16th October at around 10: 30 to withdraw some cash in US dollars.
The advisor I saw (I can’t remember her name) was so lovely! She understood that I had recently moved to Canada from the UK and so wasn’t completely au fait with how the banking system worked here. So kind and understanding and even explained how to withdraw US dollars from some of the ATMs if needed in the future.
There’s a lot of negative reviews of bank branches generally (presumably because people don’t tend to write a review of their bank unless it’s because they have an axe to grind).

But yes, if the bank has a way of finding out who served me, please pass on my thanks and hold on to her! She and her colleagues are the face of the bank and without them, customer loyalty is easily eroded.

This branch also does not have free parking, there are always homeless people and shady people lurking around, and customer service is practically below acceptable. I will not return to this bank.

The blonde clerk is ALWAYS super friendly, helpful and extremely genuine. Her exceptional customer service skills are much appreciated. I actually look forward to doing banking at the King St.location!

Had a horrible experience with this branch 3 times. First time, the mortgage advisor Jacob was excellent but the closing date for my mortgage was delayed by one month while I was paying mortgage at two places the whole month. Second time, an advisor was terrible and when he found out I didn't qualify for a mortgage, he simply stopped replying to my messages to even update me even though I told him the closing date was an urgent matter. I since went ahead with another bank (not sorry RBC). Third time, my loan took 3 weeks to close and 3 months to process while I was paying RBC loan interest on a loan I didn't have access to due to their slow bureaucratic clerk process. During the process, the advisors kept reassuring me that it will be dealt with in a timely manner and they stopped replying to my messages. I since went ahead with another company (not sorry RBC). There is also no free parking at this branch, always homeless people and shady folks lurking around, and the actual customer service is below an acceptable level. I will not be back to this bank.

This bank should change it's name to the laziest bank in the world. Even a one star should not be considered for this lazy bank. Customer service is nonexistent like everywhere in Canada. This bank takes out money from accounts without consent and the customer ends up with overdraft fees. This bank does not close your accounts when requested. BEWARE of the laziness in this bank! The individuals who work in this bank are slower than sloths, it's unbelievable actually because no problem-solving skills are utilized. Almost like they hire people with zero amount of brain cells and an infinite number of weed cells. Done with this lazy bank and good riddance, Happy new year!

This branch need a serious upgrade starting with manager lack of training they can't answer some basics questions always tell you try the bank machine.
