This place deserves the 2 star rating. Horrible customer experience. Teller at the counter was rude. The representative I was scheduled to meet didn't meet me even though she was on shift.

This establishment needs to get shut down. The staff here appear to lack the necessary competence. I visited this place with the intent of renewing my expired credit card and exchanging currency. To begin with, one of the employees informed me that they didn't handle Korean currency, the WON, but it turned out to be a misunderstanding as they confused it with WAN. Secondly, I was asked if I possessed a student permit, which I found somewhat impolite, given that I am a Canadian citizen. Additionally, they resorted to using a calculator to count my cash and requested that I double-check, a practice that struck me as unprofessional. Lastly, I was told they couldn't renew my expired credit card because it was a matter for VISA to resolve. This was rather amusing because when I contacted RBC's customer service, they sent me a new card, asserting that it was indeed RBC's responsibility since the card had been issued by RBC (what a surprise). What added to the humor was that even a person at a managerial level confirmed that I should call VISA for card renewal. I'm not one to write reviews ordinarily, but the service I received left me speechless that I just had to write one.

Terrible service and I am not even a client of the bank. Made an appointment to open up an account for an International student. Made the appointment over a month ago with service representative which gave me a date and time to a bank that is not even open on a Saturday (come to find out today). Called the RBC line to confirm my appointment and there where no branches available to take me on same day. My appointment was not valid. Moved onto a much better bank -TD Bank that took my student in last minute.

Booked an appointment at 4: 00pm. Arrived 10 minutes earlier, no customers at that time, three tellers at the counter, saw me walked in, no words in the next 15 minutes. Finally a lady from the office saw me and asked, it was 5 minutes after 4: 00 pm, but, she was not the one I suppose to meet. Finally saw the lady I booked the appointment with, but did not get any useful services at all regarding my mortgage renewal options. She did not know anything and not able to provide any services at all. What a waste of time. I called the RBC customer service and talked to an adviser over the phone, he answered all my questions and got all paper work done in 20 minutes.

No wonder why there was no customers in this branch, because they don't provide any services to make sure no customers visit them.

HORRIBLE customer service, left feeling appalled, anxious, confused, disrespected, not confident in the teller's abilities, and unappreciated as a client.
Would actually love for the branch manager to reach out to me regarding this situation.

No empathy or customer service given. I asked them to do something the Byron branch has done numerous times but they said they couldn't. If this was my home branch I would leave RBC. Horrible experience, dismissive attitude. Terrible.

Worst customer service ever. I was send here by the Fanshawepark road branch for convenience. But the people in this branch are rude and they refused to help.
All I wanted to do was to deposit a draft into my friends RBC account and they refused to do that saying that I'm not an RBC client.
I used RBC many times before.
Even the manager was rude. He told me that he cannot talk to me because i dont have an RBC account.
