Please stay away from this branch. I opened a business account in person at this branch - had all my documents in order; happily walked out thinking everything was great! Months later one of the e-transfers I received from my customer was not deposited and when I called customer service that's when I was advised the employee didn't file my documents and the request was escalated to the branch manager (Drew Buchanan). Drew advised me the employee FORGOT to file my documents and he worked with me for a few days to get new documents to me to sign and I did BUT a few days later my account was closed and a draft was sent to me. When I reached back out to Drew he ghosted me. I mean what kind of professionalism is that for a branch manager to ghost a customer at a time of need. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRANCH & RBC in general.

Came in to have my credit card issued to the right location. A lady name Rose I believe was helping me but the phone call wait to fix my issue was 20 min hold and I showed a up about 15 minutes before close. I've worked in customer service for awhile mind you not at a bank so I'm not sure what rules apply there. I've always gone out of my way to help customers even if it costed me 5 minutes extra of my time. Not to mention you did not keep your word to work on my case the next day. Thankfully I just called myself and the lady is sending my card to my home thankfully because I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Called branch number to ask if I need an appointment to come in for a service. Shunted around IVR and then on hold for so long it would be faster to drive to the branch to ask the question. Poorly designed user experience making service unaccessible to the elderly who are unable to navigate online banking and therefore cannot call their bank branch to ask a question. This should not be allowed and the government should force the banks to provide immediate phone assistance for the elderly and others.

Very rude people here at the bank. They refused my pregnant wife to use their bathroom. I understand the whole covid situation but I expected some courtesy here. If they don’t care for their customers, I am taking my business somewhere else.

Unfortunate experience today. Stopped over to deposit a draft into my company account which funds coming from my BMO account in Appleby Village branch. A DRAFT IS meant to be deposited WITHOUT A HOLD for clearance. But I got so much hassle on this. They refused to accept without hold. It's end of day I'm almost 70 years I'm tired and likely expressed frustration because I was told to wait 15 minutes for manager to speak to me on this. Ultimately I was also refused to allow the deposit till I wait for manager. One other teller intervenes to tell me I'm rude etc.they didn't understand the concept that I was a frustrated customer and they should attempt to help me. This idea of customer service was totally lost on the younger tellers this evening. Likely a culture at this branch as mostly the learnings are top down. Will avoid this branch. I've had way better customer service at other branches so definitely NOT a reflection on RBC but this branch in particular.

Fast, efficient and friendly staff. I’m here almost everyday for business deposit, I hardly ever have to wait more than a few minutes. I’ve never had a bad experience here. I would definitely recommend banking here.

Simple outdoor double lane drive thru ATM installation. I did have trouble seeing the screen in the bright afternoon sunlight.

Customer service is non existent. Called the branch manager last week about an issue that has been going on for 4 months! And he never even bothered to call me back

I knew the banking service would be great at each RBC branch. But I had no idea such great experience would be coupled with such a high-touch approach of providing the extra piece of information that had mattered most to me before I even realized. I look forward to returning soon and be fascinated with the human interaction that was blended with my physical and digital footprints.

I was with my former bank for over 10 years. I thought they valued me as a customer but I was completely wrong! I went into (my former) bank got no answers. Made an appointment provided documents and the advisor didn't even look at my account said I could go to the teller to close my account if I was not happy. Long story short I walked across the street into RBC. Instantly I was greeted by friendly knowledgeable staff. CORY LEBLANC IS AMAZING! He listened to my concerns addressed everything with such detail! He ensured a smooth transition from banking institutions. He came through with every promise and relieved me of any anxieties I was having about moving banks. Customer service was of the highest qualities I have ever experienced! I was nervous to change banks after such a long relationship, but now I wish I had of done it sooner. I cannot speak highly enough about Cory! If you're unhappy with your bank, don't wait like I did make the switch and ask for Cory I promise he won't let you down. Even the man he was training (Kevin) was fantastic! Glad I made the decision to switch! I highly recommend just going into RBC and seeing how much better it is then any other bank! Super impressed!

My 1st one star rating! Disrespectful service from the teller dragging out my financial transaction. After examining my ID then waiting 20 minutes for him talking to Visa, Was then told I needed my passport. Went home, got it, waited for him in line again. ID again presented again. 20 more minutes to complete. Undecided whether he was incompetent or intent on killing time. Fun in a Covid world.

I am a client of Mark Gouldby.
I cannot say enough about his professionalism as well as his knowledge. Always willing to take the time with detailed info so I have a full understanding.
Due to this my mother has just switched over to his services as finacial advisor.
I would highly recommend Mark for your financial management needs.
The staff upon entering is great as well.
Very impressed and have been with this bank since they opened.

Professional and caring staff serving an aging community.
Could get very busy times to times however never a crazy wait.
Management seems on top of things.
One of the better RBCs in the area.

All they do is charge fees after fees, don't fall for the trap and open an account with someone else. I will be closing mine very soon.

Pretty sad experience today. I had planned my visit at this location for over a week now to set up a new Business Banking Account, US Included? (and confirmed). I was totally stressed as I was 2 minutes late for the appointment. But no worries, my scheduled account manager was not in the office as per the front desk. He was out getting coffee. And upon his return 10 minutes after our appointment, was when the fine first gentleman informed my Business Rep I was there, after this there was no introduction, no apology and no interaction. For him, he was too busy delivering the dozen coffees he had spent so much time in line to receive at TDL. Thanks for a wonderful first experience with your Bank RBC, I have a new company, and all the needs in the world. Hope the comradery of delivering those coffees was worth it to you, because I just walked out. And after 2 hours have not even received a call to inquire about our appointment. Corporate should be ashamed, and local RM's should be keeping tabs on the high school kids. (Walkers and New)

I have recently switched over from another bank and I already feel like I am in much better hands. When moving to the US for school, my old bank did not inform me that I would not be able to access my funds without a US bank account. Every time I asked about it they just avoided the question, until someone had the decency to tell me that in fact my bank account would not work. Only 3 weeks before moving to the US, I had to scramble to make the decision to come over to RBC for their joint US accounts. Every time I walk in the door I am greeted with a smile and offered a coffee. I have been working with Rachel who is lovely and always takes time to explain all the details. When she doesn't have the answer, instead of making one up, she admits that she does not have the answer and takes the effort to find out. The online tools for estimating mutual funds and savings are a great resource too! I feel so much more secure with my move now that I understand the ins and outs of my accounts and have confidence in making decisions regarding my banking since I feel like nothing is being hidden from me

They take more money out of my account than I do. Nothing like working for your money and than having your bank hit you with fees 24/7. Definitely looking to switch very soon. I personally like being the one that gets my money. Very unhappy.
