I had booked an appointment here in the past and knew I met the income criteria for the account I had scheduled an appointment to open (part time job and odsp). When the advisor saw odsp listed as income, she immediately halted the appointment to get another employee to come in so they could both stand there and ask why I would bother booking an appointment with them at all as they basically repeatedly said someone on odsp shouldn't even have the accounts that I already do. I had spent 7 years paying off debt from helping my mother and moving provinces, and had an excellent credit score at this point. They still decided to ask me repeatedly how I even got approved for a credit card in the first place.
Absolutely, unforgivably ablist towards someone who just happened to be born with autism, I was in compelte disbelief.
Will certainly be transitioning to a new bank after this, just terrible people.

I have high regard for RBC bank, had great experience banking with them mostly online but this branch is an absolute nightmare!

I had an appointment on a week day with Riana, waited for about 30 minutes for them to figure out that my appointment was with Raina, only to be told to rebook the appt as she has another client or wait another hour. Please note that their customer care booked me this time slot, with this particular advisor and I was on time, highly disorganised and not even an apology for their mishap. Terrible customer service.

This bank locks its door at 10 pm and dose not reopen them until after 7 am.

I work a bar shift till late at night, can't put my pay into the bank on the way home.when i get up early to go to my day job at 7 am the doors to the bank are still locked.you cant get access to the bank machines. When i need money out i have to go to the bmo in the same plaza and pay a service fee. Why are the doors locked

This is the worst RBC Branch, I have been a customer for 10+ years because my father had RBC. This branches workers will treat you poorly and are racist towards the brown community. I have seen them treat people of color differently compared to white. Unfortunately this is the sad truth of this branch in Oshawa. They have given me and my dad both a hard time.the branch manager does not listen to what you have to say and will only give you computerized answers. No remorse for the clients no care and no customer service skills. They fed us wrong information and caused us a lot of trouble. I highly recommend you avoid this branch=.

I did not have a good time this was the "non essential " items because banned. Coin rollers where one of them I had a lot of 1$ and 2$ and some. 25. I brought up to the clerk and was told he was not able to touch them and I needed to roll them myself, I replied I could due to covid ban, and then proceeded to hand me paper rollers. I didn't know how to roll them
" properly ", and when I was done he then took the coins out and counted them. Almost an hour for the money to go into my account.

I've had nothing but pleasant experiences here! I always have pleasant conversation with the employees and it makes me really appreciate a genuine human connection during these unprecedented times, even when all of the covid guidelines are in place.

The entire RBC bank is a joke. I get different info from every person I speak to regarding my account and cheque’s being deposited and held. I’ve been lied to and told many different things.seems like something different every time. And the customer service is absolutely horrible. The toll free number is a waste of time just people on a phone telling you they can’t do anything and you have to go Into the branch? Smh

Very incompetent and horrible customer service. I went in for wire transfer and asked teller if information I have is all they need and he said yes.made me wait for half an hour, finally when I was attended he told me this information is not sufficient I need more details, I called backhome got eveything they wanted and waited for them but instead of attending me manager started attending other people totally ignoring me.never going back to this branch.wasted one hour there

Never fails to disappoint. Attempting a mortgage refinance (I could so far have adopted a Russian orphan quicker). There is no communication, your file is passed around like a joint, no one in the branch has a clue what is going on. My customer experience so far is quite negative and I most certainly hold their ability to perform as professional in question.

Very busy.only 2 Tellers while the line-up goes to the door. Use More Tellers! I dont like spending 20 minutes of my life there.

RBC treats their clients as people not a number always courteous and friendly a very welcoming environment. That's why I will continue to be a loyal customer to Rbc.

I called to open an account. After five minutes and a truly pitiful auto answering set up a very polite fellow talked to me who is not even at the branch. I may as well stay with the idiots I'm already with.

My first time heading to ritson Adelaide location after simcoe North location in downtown Oshawa come to the end so is king/wilson too first time was ALot of lineup for banking in the early morning before sami is a best branch manager ever and still working for Neil as his boss anything happened as well, Sami report to Neil at all time

Horrible customer service. I'm a new customer and they cancelled my bank card after a couple months then made me go in to "renew" it only to find out they were giving me a temporary card that can only be used at their machines for two weeks until a real card decides to show up in the mail, I don't drive so I have to take a bus to one of their bank machines at $4 a bus ride, which is worse than any ATM fee. This bank is garbage, plain and simple. Thanks for nothing Royal bank.

They are always very professional, and their services go far beyond banking. The new venue is more comfortable, and appealing to the eye, although there's not a labelled public restroom. The atmosphere is friendly and helpful.

This happened maybe 2-3 weeks ago. I'm a very loyal customer for almost 13 yrs now since I came here in canada. I always do my grocery at Costco and very happy to see that they have a Rbc now close by. But for the first time a Rbc employee disappoint me.shes working at the front help desk.she was so rude and not so accomadating to think that they're a newly open location.no greeting, no smile and didn't even try to see if somebody can help regarding my inquiry. All other Rbc locations are very very friendly and accommodating.

Please update the bank hours for this location. I rushed to the bank last Monday but it’s already closed at 5pm.: (
