RBC Royal Bank

Haven't had a bank card in over a year because every time i order it they send my moms or my brothers.

Aldershot branch was robbed last week (9th August 2023) when branch was very busy. If Branch Manager is away for 2- 3 hours lunch break and not available at closing time, most of the time, then this kind of incident happens. I visited three times on different days to see manager but could not find him with excuses like he left early or on lunch etc, one day I awaited 1 hour and 15 mins but manager was enjoying lunch. The behaviour of branch manager and management is not even safe for community. How RBC cares about its employees and Aldershot community. Never had this kind of experience ever before in this branch. Top management must look into it. I tried to call Client care but long wait time.

I visited this branch this morning. I teller whom I worked with was great, very attentive and to the detail. He understood my case and and resolved it in minutes. I'm happy to have RBC as my banker.

I had one "advisor", Amhad, prevent my 85yr old bed ridden father from paying bills by freezing his accounts without any notification to anyone. He almost caused my father to default on a 45yr old insurance policy. 3 months later, I am still trying what bills are still being paid by automatic transfer set up by my father. Apparently, a hydro bill in his name hasn't been paid in 2 months, because of this. What does an 85yr old bed ridden man need electricity for anyways?

Also if you want an "advisor" to laugh in your face at the fact that they have the leaverage to probate ($2500 expense) on as little as a dollar when you are trying to settle your recently past mother's estate. Drew is your man! Also still giving advice.

Absolutely pathetic bank brand to deal with. Banked at rbc since 92 yes 30 years. Owned corporations for 24.have perfect credit pay huge income taxes in this country and rbc has nerve to send me a generic letter that you can no longer bank here saying im high risk lol. Do you think 1 live person knew or even helped? No sir. During this same time i got approved for a usa mortgage if needed as im moving to Florida. Here we are in June and my account already got closed. My banking pattern hasnt changed and bank mostly at BMO with no issues at all. Furthermore i am still getting calls from RBC rep in USA to ask if im moving forward with a mortgage. Also got a call asking why i paid off line of credit and closed it. Emailed bank manager too lazy to even respond. Came into actual branch 3x no response. Mickey Mouse operation with people people Making 50k or less controlling your $. Do not bank here

Definitely among the worst banking experiences me and my Spouse have ever had, multiple visits on various banking transactions. While they MAY be following RBC policy they conduct themselves with a 'take-it-or-leave-it' approach. Inconsistent with other branches in the City and Ontario. The attitude of the tellers/advisors is appalling and not much better from management. I guess it's true what they say "A fish rots from the head down. "

My problem is not with this branch, but with RBC itself. People.know where your money's going. RBC will take your hard-earned cash and put it into funding gas pipelines. As a university student, I want a good bank to invest in my future. I don't wanna see my money used to worsen the climate crisis. Not worth it. Sorry

Every time I deal with this branch, whether it’s for a home line of credit or a mortgage, it somehow gets mishandled, mistakes or lost. Then I call RBC head office and they send me to another location that completes the work within a few days. Literally 4 times this has happened. Go to any other location and avoid this one if you want to save yourself time.

I've met with Matthew Douglas a number of times concerning RESP and RRSP, and he is excellent. He investigates options carefully and provides informed guidance. I recommend him wholeheartedly.

This branch has been so amazing to deal with. Maria is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and courteous.

I don't know her name but she helped me when i was stuck with ATM deposit process and she was very nice and professional.

I am not a customer there but I have been there many times with my friend who is and it seems to me to be a very well-run Bank. However, driving into and out of the parking lot is sometimes tricky due to heavy traffic.

Worst RBC. One of the tellers here is extremely racist & rude. Enters client’s accounts without permission to mess around and change information. They have been reported to RBC twice, with no action taken as the manager of a this location is perfectly fine with it. Appalling.

So yall deposit box had been locked for like a week dog but then I figured out yall just left it open so it was blessed but yo take In- I went here to get money changed from American (like 10 dollars) and the girl said "we don't do that" and I said - bruh u are a ******* bank who tf else gunna do it? The Esso? Dfkm don't @me old lady

A good place to show up after watching a Jaws movie, open an account and register with them for use when get at home. It is a top 5 Bank and good to have and know about with as person. Much well experience with RBC and the Credit Card with the personal name on it after awhile as well.

DO NOT JOIN THIS BANK.their system has been compromised, my boyfriends accounts were hacked into and he had to pay ALL the money back himself.
IF YOU ARE PART OF THIS INSTITUTION ALREADY, please take precautions, change passwords, verify that your accounts are all safe and watch for suspicious transactions!
I strongly recommend keeping a little password notebook, and having a different password for everything! Make sure to include capital letters, lower case letters, numbers and signs! Because this could happen to anybody!

It is a great place friendly staff and they take time to help you when with everything within there ability
