RBC Royal Bank

ATM isn't accessible after 5 pm, which is rather ridiculous for a bank that was built last year

This Royal bank is shut down but don't panic lol it's just on King st very close to the old location on Duke. I'm gonna post a picture of the new Royal bank and review it as well.

Awful policy regarding locking the ATM area during non business hours. Nearest RBC ATM is ~40 min walk away. Only possible explanation is someone complained about homeless folks sleeping in the ATM area and now they lock it. No idea why they think this is an ideal solution.

This location is the main branch of RBC Royal Bank Of Canada. The central location is great and easily accessible. The parking, however, can be an issue as there are not many spots on Ontario Street. The branch is clean, organized, and spacious. There are two ATM's inside, and usually two to three tellers to serve clients. I rarely see lines and this indicates that the branch is not among the high demanded ones. Smaller ones near shopping plazas can be way more busier. Some of the staff members are not very careful, or possibly do not care? You can see ladies chatting and even talk loud before they come to help you.

Alvaro the manager is very efficient and intelligent and he is empowered to help you. He is my go-to guy for everything that I need help with especially investing and he’s excellent with explaining and understanding what’s required.

Would really like access to my money outside of your poor business hours. Why not pay for security like all the other downtown banks instead of locking the ATM vestibule.

Same situation as mentioned below by Matterick. Don't go to this branch if you don't have time to stand around for 5-10 minutes while the tellers chat. EVERYTIME I go to this branch, the tellers are standing around chatting, filling out little slips of paper and laughing. They don't care about the customers waiting in line.

Don’t come here unless you enjoy waiting a decade so do any form of banking. Tellers chat and laugh and giggle with each other instead of helping a massive line of customers. Omg. Awful

Extremely slow and understaffed. I've been here several times and every single visit took longer than 30 minutes waiting in the queue
