Wait time is unreasonable long. When I arrive there are only 3 clerks even though they have 5 desks. And then I wait over 30mins with no movement in the line. Unbelievable!

Low quality, unprofessional, and mediocre at its finest.

This branch does not accept constructive criticism, is hostile towards its customers, and is usually unhelpful even on appointment services.

Very poor experience
The teller said you cannot change PAD bank for a mortgage- do it yourself on the web. When I said, online it says do at Branch- she said Okay I will have a look
And then when I said- my bank change should be from ABC to DEF Bank- she said DEF Bank is not possible
Later, when I reached my mortgage agent- he did the same thing in 5 mins
Are you guys a joke or what?

I go for office banking and line ups are totally uncalled for.i see the manger running around but not helping at all just pretending to care.hate this bank and would not put two cents into it.

When our adviser came to meet us, she didn't introduce herself so I asked if her name was so-and-so and she completely ignored the question. She treaded my mother and me like we were stupid. She was unhelpful in making us feel that we're getting the best advice by acting like our questions were the most basic and obvious (if that's truly the case, you should still answer respect to "advise"). She asks you a question only to interrupt you with another question. She over explained simple things that I told her we understood. She made the assumption that we weren't Canadian citizens.

I hope it was an "off" day for her and if not, I hope she finds something else that brings out the best in her because dealing with customers clearly doesn't do it for her.

Horrible service and unbelievable requirements for identification even after providing them with the acceptable forms of identification as stipulated on their own website.

To make a long story short, I was able to get what I needed done via telephone banking services. They were able to verify my identity with ease and without me providing any form of ID.

In the 20+ years of dealing with RBC I have never encountered such horrible service.

BTW to the branch manager at this location, if you are reading this, I was successful in opening a bank account with one of your competitors with the same ID I provided you. I guess you were truly full of it ;)

The Assistant branch manager was very rude, I have a medical problem a breathing problem, I tried to explain to the assistant manager that I had a breathing problem he was talking over me constantly ignoring my medical issue. Maybe cause I was a black women n hes a Chinese and they hate my people. Well see if he keeps the same energy next time

Worst customer service. 1) I’m standing there waiting for help, there are 3 free tellers at the teller desk, they just let me stand there looking at them waiting ad infinitum, with no acknowledgement whatsoever, no eye contact, no “Hi, we will be with you in a moment“. 2) finally a teller called me over, but there was no eye contact for the 10-15 minutes I spoke with him, even when he did NOT have to be looking at the computer screen, he made no eye contact with me whatsoever the whole time he spoke with me. 3) they did not even have their business cards available.
It really seems like they want to drive people away from coming into the branch as much as possible.

This branch is amazing, the customer service of the branch manager (Michael) is the best, he is so knowledgeable and caring, and he simply showed us the value of the client. Highly recommend this branch.

Newly renovated place. Every so often the manager comes out and talks to every person in line. If he can help someone he helps them right away. He's very polite and courteous.

My experience at this branch was THE best banking experience I have ever received in my whole life. Everyone was friendly and even though we are in a pandemic everything regarding my banking needs was served perfectly. My special thanks to Ms. Theresa Kagaoan who helped me to resolve my account issues for over an hour.

This is my 3rd time in row getting so disappointed with the service of the branch. Dealing with Kingston Chung, Assistan Branch Manager! Will definitely gives you feeling you are talking to Mao!
Zero compation, zero understanding and zero help!
Machins can do better job than this guy, not sure why RBC wasting money on people like him!

Nothing was done by the branch manager to protect customer after virus outbreak. This is serious, their employee were not even wearing masks or gloves. Feel uncomfortable when doing business with them. Very bad

Employees are just standing around doing nothing. Some of the female receptionists try to be chatty and just end up asking uncomfortable personal questions. RBC is a good bank but these employees clearly don't know how to do their jobs.

Absolutely the worst RBC bank in all of Canada. I needed to make a pin change which could have been done via the ATM but as their ATM never works i had to stand in line. However, unlike any other bank where if there is a large lineup of people and more staff on site is willing to help NO ONE took initiative. The worst thing was that they had ample amounts of staff in the cubicles either on their phones or closing the office door trying to make it seem like they were busy. There were only 4 staff helping a line up of people and during the middle half of them went to the back or was on the computer doing nothing. I had to wait over 30-45min just go get my pin changed and this took around 10-15min because the person helping didnt know the process. Because of this horrible experience I had made a complaint to their customer service department and they told me that the branch manager would be calling me within 24-48hrs. They called me about a week later and the assistant branch manager (some lady) took the call and tried to explain to me why their branch image is not i experienced. However, as the discussion went on she agreed that the employees working there do not attend people in lines and she even mentioned that one day she went into the branch in her casual outfit and was in the front of the line and no one helped her. Again she didnt seem to try and resolve the issue instead was bringing up more excuses. What is worse is that when I said i would not be going back to that branch she replied "Oh that's good". I dont understand how RBC can hire such people. Also she said she would be willing to cut my credit card annual fee by 1/2. NOT all just half, obviously she didnt do her research as my credit was free for the first year. I will be calling customer care soon.but for those who got to read through this, NEVER GO HERE! No wonder TD across from them does so much better!

This is definitely the worst of all royal bank branches. Every time I come I have to wait for so long that some times I have to give up because I can't afford to stay waiting any longer.

The new layout is horrible, the lines are so long, I think is due to the confusion of who is actually working and desks are in service. The new booths are right by the lineup which is intrusive and not secure. People are discussing their banking information right infront of strangers, also the screens are visible for anyone to see what the branch staff are looking and imputing.

During my last visit they had a booth set up with a realtor who was harassing clients to either help them sale and sale their homes. After telling him a few times we were not interested he moved to the next person in line to harass them.

Newly renovated, this isn't your typical bank lay out. It looks more like a learning center. The employees seem to be there to teach and aid you in your use of online banking. I love the new layout. I also love that the changed their ATMs, to the new envelope free (reduce on paper waste) ATMs. Every little bit counts. The only downside to envelope free, is when depositing new bills, you have to wait for the system to be updated. Luckily Canada doesn't change the look of their money too often. However I love the move to a more environmentally friendly, system. Reduce, Recycle, and Reuse (let's never forget the 3 Rs).

Branch manager Michael was the nicest bank manager I’ve ever met! Makes me feel comfortable and personal! Great ideas to help customers in tight situations! Very courteous! Will be doing all my RBC transactions at this location from now on!

One of the worst services in a Canadian bank. Went to deposit a cheque and the CSR took 12 minutes to deposit it - citing that she is verifying my account. The truth is that this bank's employees are mandated to see if a customer has all their products - regardless of how many ppl are standing in the queue! Complained about this branch at least three times at the HQ - but no improvement. As long as they do not train their employees, hire competent staff and let go this product verification - I do not expect it to change. Been their costumer since they opened the branch and is it getting worst!

Worst service and experiences possible! I have left the country over a year ago and was threatened by a collection company on behalf of RBC Canada which totally screwed up closing my bank account and terminating my credit card while I was still in the country. There is no professionalism and competence at all while they acted with no respect, service orientation and treat former clients as frauds. Cost me a lot of money to wait in line for serveral oversea phone calls and talk to people who do not know what they are actually doing. After the misterious money transfer was done, I didn't receive a release letter and was left hanging. No answer to my calls and emails. I am speachless and have documented the entire process. As a European foreigner, I would never ever work an open an account with them again!

I talked to Fairview mall branch manager assistant today to see how I can get back and front photo of my cheques to send to CRA. He said I have to pay them hourly $40 and put a request for it! I asked him if I can do it online or not.he was pretty rude and he was like (don't waste my time!) and said no that's the only way and left! I was so disappointed with their service and called customer service right after.and yes we can do it online easily without paying them! Please get updated! If you are the branch manager assistant! So disappointing.

This branch has no process to improve client experience. Front counter staff need better training and empowerment to make simple decisions. Arrived when there was no line, only to wait 30 min for a simple deposit.

Friendly staff how ever I notice there's always a handfull of people getting trained and fist full of people sitting in their offices with no clients instead of being out on the floor helping tellers. At this point there might as well be a ticket booth and a seating area cause people shouldn't spend more than 30 minutes standing on their feet

Took 45 minutes to serve me when there are only 20 people ahead of me. They are under renovation. If you are not able to serve customers fast, why bother staying during renovation? Wasted my time!

On official RBC web site currency exchange rate is 1.30 CAD to 1 USD. In the branch they say it is 1.37 to 1 USD.: (

FRAUDS! Clossing my bank account ASAP. You will have your hard earned money taken out from your chequing account and stolen by RBC workers. Unauthorized payment "mistake" that happens more than three times. I dont have a mortgage with them and will NEVER will yet they took out "Mortgage payment" & "scheduled payment" because they are FRAUDS. How can a mistake happen 3 times? I have to miss work and go to the branch to demand for my money. Move your money now to another bank. Disgusting. Their excuse was "somebody else has same transit number as yours". Seriously? How is that my problem and why didnt they fix it the 1st time? Bank or theives? Wasted so much time trying to get my hard earned money back. The irony that the bank is supposed to keep your money safe! Your money is NOT safe here. Look up other stories about RBC. So many horror stories! Move your money with ANY OTHER bank! RBC is literally the worst!

I've had great experience with RBC, this branch is horrendous I'm sorry to say, had to go to another branch to get my issue solved or honestly even looked at. And this review is for the service, not for all the dirty looks and suspicions they seen to cast upon you. Regardless if you want service that does not ruins your day then I don't recommend this branch. RBC has great people in other branches that don't make you feel disrespcted. I closed my account and opened one at TD right across, problem solved
