Absolutely horrible branch, maybe the worst one ive been to. They don't care about their customers at all. I come in for a 12PM appointment and theres no check in desk or anything. Standing around twiddling my thumbs waiting for the advisor to come get me who was late. The line is slow, very slow even when the branch is empty. Avoid this branch at all costs. FA was fine when i talked to him but the branch overall is horrible!

Extremely slow service. There is always only 1 or 2 people working and the rest walking around at the back doing nothing. Once in a while the manager appears to ask if he can help anyone but the response is always "ok just wait in line, next rep will help you" before disappearing back in the office.

This is truly one of the worst locations of RBC. They have no front desk; in fact, the front desk has shrunk to a size enough to fit an A4 paper. The manager or lead has such an attitude and thinks everyone is out to get RBC through fraud. Please give her an education and training. Her customer service skills are zero. We are just decent people going about our daily lives and unfortunately have to deal with substandard individuals like you. Many of those coming through are HNI who may "not look" like one. So, as a suggestion, start treating every customer decently because you don't know looking at the person's face what their investment balance is. Does that even matter?

I was shocked by the 1star ratings and still went because I had no choice. After the long wait, the teller would talk to everyone like he'd be better off pissing off all customers and have them leave the bank and leave him alone. We have called ahead asking for an appointment, and were told that appointment is not necessary. At the counter the teller says no appointment no service and was extremely unwilling to cooperate to actually book a future appointment for us. Basically the phone tellers and the in person tellers only have one job, that is to turn away business indefinitely into the future.

Very very rubbish experience, I didn't remember the name of the male employee at the counter, I really should have photographed it at the time and put it in the comments for everyone to see this snarky, low business loser.when I see him when I get a chance to go, I'm going to photographed him again as a human being and put it in the comments for everyone to see so that we don't all have to have the same experience as I did in the future.

Such a pathetic customer service. I wish I have never opened an account with this branch of RBC. Not an accountable / solution oriented aptitude. Very rude customer service agents and the manager. There is not an option of giving them negative stars rating. Had it been there I would have chosen the maximum negative rating for this branch. They made the life so frustrated and I really don’t know who to ask for the support in my time crucial deadlines.

Terrible customer service. I'm in and they said it's closed. They shouldn't open door if it is closed. This branch has serious problems. From customer service to mortgage broker. Honestly I came here after 2 years and no change at all. Same rude behavior. I've been to other RBC branches and all are super nice. Just this branch has always issues.

I asked Assistant Manager to email whatever she was explaining me over the phone since I was driving, but she refused to do so and forwarded my case to Client service center and no response from client service center yet. I started my query in Oct 16 n today Nov 1st. Looks like there is a blunder in my Account/transaction that is why everyone has different answer to my question and afraid with answering in writing. No doubt front line tellers are nice but people who sit in cabins are rude and lack of knowledge. No professionalism at all. Worst experience ever.

Every time I head into RBC. I look for one individual. His name is Suraj Acharya. For the past year I’ve been dealing with him whenever I come in because of his positivity and his energy. He is the definition of what an RBC Employee should be. Extreme patience, always makes sure I take advantage of anything available. My experience with RBC because of him has always been a 5 star interaction. Whoever the manager is at this branch, please give him a chance to move up. This type of employee is the one you want to lead a team and show real personalities to an industry mistreated for not doing a lot. So Suraj, thank you for everything. And I hope you deserve your recognition as soon as possible.

The branch before many years better than now,
Now everyday have a line up, the worse days it Friday and Saturday and beginning days from each month, every time they put less workers in front desk.
The workers are nice and friendly
The branch clean and organized
They have 3 ATM machine inside and one ATM machine outside

Employees need to be properly trained. I went to this location and told the teller that my rbc credit card is not working at the atm. I needed to make a cash payment towards the balancs. The teller tried to swipe my card and he was getting an error card canceled. Eventhough i made a samsung pay transaction an hour ago. The teller knew what my concern was, it was to pay off my card balance with cash. He then told me to call rbc and explain the situation, which i later did. The rbc rep on phone tells me why didnt the teller just pull up your account using your personal details, that way you could have paid your balance. Seriously because of this i wasted 1 hour.

Just wanted to say how VERY IMPRESSED my wife and I were with both the branch manager, Kevin, and financial adviser Jim Hayhurst. Kevin was attentive enough to notice us when we were standing in line at the entrance looking for a representative to help with our enquiry. He immediately welcomed us, quickly assessed our needs and directed us to Jim Hayhurst. Jim was very friendly and helpful and got straight on with looking into ways to help.great job.thanks to you both and we look forward to dealing with Jim in the future.

Literally the WORST RBC location. The drive through ATM always has issues every other week/ is out of service, the ATM always crumbles & spits my money back out, the parking lot is disastrous as there is never any parking & it's crammed, and there is ALWAYS a line up to speak with a teller- which doesn't help if the ATM isn't working and there isn't parking. Very inconvenient location & service.

Waited in line 20 minutes to deposit rolled coins and was told by a teller that they could not take it as it would take too long to check the rolls. I bank at td as well and went there instead, they checked all my rolls in front of me and took less than 10 minutes. The teller I got was an older man and seemed he did not want to do the work of checking my coin. What bank doesnt accept money a client is giving them?

Worst Experience Ever for International Money Transfer. I did a transfer from personal banking and waited for two weeks. I visit the Bank for 3 times and they confirm it is already delivered. I call 3 times and the last thing happens they send my money with recipient name so the money on hold in destination country after ONE Month of struggling to send the money. What brought my attention is while COVID Pandemic, they replace employees without giving the new hire a proper training. This bank was great but now is the worst.

Standing in lines for very very long time. Some people including myself, have less times at times and in a rush, but cannot leave because I need to get things done. If I have time to write this review, shows the amount of time (and more) I have in hand while waiting to be served.

Worst bank service ever! I went there to change my address and get a paper statement as my address prove. I've done this several times and know the procedures and documents I need.
The staff sitting in the window closest to the door at first tole me that I can't get a paper bank statement from the counter which I heard for the first time! Then I told him I need paper one as address prove, magically, he said "ok" then. Is that interesting? If I haven't done this before, he would has fooled me. So bank staff can made up rules and change them by his will?
And here comes the fun part. I can always change my address by tell bank staff my new address, no prove ever needed. This one told me that I can't! I'm not sure he has the "power" to change rules or fool customers he doesn't like or something!
He told me I can change on my online banking, so I changed in the bank. He said it's changed in the system, but when he pulled out the statement, he said it's not changed!
So finally he won, I didn't get a simple bank statement which I can always get easily. I have to go to the bank again thanks to this bank and this staff!

Slowest service at any bank I have experienced in my life. Two advisors at every booth, taking their sweet time while recognizing the line goes out the door. Showing 0 sense of urgency, even in the last hour they are open.

Save your time, go to a different branch. They do not deserve your business.

One of the worst RBC branches you will ever come across. Advisors here will tell you that they work here for many years but cannot answer simple questions. Also, they never seem to call back and when you asked why they don't call back, they will say there are just too packed with appointments these days! So they will make you feel like they don't really have any time for you or callbacks. So you will be stuck with your inquiries for weeks which could've been dealt within a hour or two. They also wont give you the follow up call when they tell you that they will get back to you with the answers with 1 or 2 business days.

BEHRAM or did not catch his full name. Absolute worst experience at any of the banks, and we bank with multiple banks. Assumed we couldnt speak english. Told us he would link us with a chinese associate.we are korean.if he took the time to do his job properly this branch would have a better review. If you want the branch to improve overall. I would advise to let go of this person. You should really review his lazy work skills. Absolute no help super sarcastic. Dont go to this branch for any kind of help

Some of these reviews have to be paid for.

I went in to ask for a certified check and was told i would have to come back the next day after waiting for over 45 minutes and bank manager being involved (large amount). Out of frustration i grabbed my card from the bank managers desk and quickly ran to my home branch that i usually deal with, in and out in under 2 minutes for the same thing.

This place in an incredible waste of time, and breath talking to that lady (branch manager) and her staff here, i would rather deal with an automated machine if i could to be honest. This made me re-think all the business i have with this bank, honestly the people in the branch make the experience. I'm never returning to this location.

If you want to feel like a criminal for trying to withdraw your own money use this branch!

I will never return to this branch simply due to the ignorance and disrespect of the manager. I was questioned and judged irracially based upon a bank statement months ago and when asked to speak to the higher management I was threatened! All I wanted to do was deposit money for my bills which were LATE due to this inconvenience. I have been a client of rbc for over 5 years and never received this experience at any of the branches! I was racially profiled due to the fact the "manager" had her own personal issue and judgement of me. Instead of a solution as a manager should provide I was given the run around to speak to a online representative because she didn't feel the need to help assist me CORRECTLY. Very disappointing experience especially being a client of over 5 years. I will file a complaint!

I had some questions regarding my mortgage. I met Marco Ibrahim in the front line. He listened to my issues very attentively. We had a good discussion and together we came up with a nice solution. Since then, he is taking care of my banking. He is friendly, humble and very prompt in response. I am extremely happy with his willingness to help the customers. Thank you Marco.

After having a terrible experience at 2 Dundas Street RBC branch I decided to go to Hazelton branch as it is closer to my house. I must say the experience was unexpectedly amazing. Our financial advisor Elaine was so helpful and honest. She provided us with all the necessary information and more. My family and I came out all satisfied. Keep it up you guys at Hazelton branch.

I've been an RBC customer at this specific branch for quiet some time and had the worst advising experience with Behram Irani. Not only was he unaware of the appointment that was booked, his greeting was very unprofessional as soon as we walked through the door (no handshake, no introduction, no welcome.nothing). Followed by that initial experience, the appointment felt very uncomfortable and almost rushed. My partner and I left just as confused as we were when we walked in. Had he seemed a little more interested in why we made the visit, I'm sure this experience would have ended differently. You can't always assume that people coming in for advice are experts, they booked an appointment for a reason. Definitely would not recommend his services.

Good service, but I always find a long line whenever I go. The advisors are helpful, and the indoor machines are quite convenient. The drive through ATM is fairly difficult to align your car with, so I tend to opt for the indoor machines.

The branch gave wrong information and account No for US wire transfer, fund transferred to the CAD account instead of US account and made me loose 500 buck right away, when you went to them they mention that oh it is is my fault “you have to check and verify the information” and we don’t give the info in such, the client has to write it down and give it to them? What a service

I never write reviews, but this time, it had to be done. I walked into this branch angry and frustrated at the service I received from the Winston Churchill Scotia Bank. Then RBC really showed me what real banking should feel like. The financial advisor, Sumra Ehtesham, was very courteous and kind. Sat me down and explained everything I needed to know about the professional student line of credit offered to dental students studying in Canada, and I was sold. Answered all my questions and highlighted my importance to RBC. Really made me feel special after Scotia Bank did the exact opposite. Sumra just granted RBC a life-long health professional customer.
