RBC's current banking services and products are really not being promoted in user-friendly ways. There are not the current products' flyers in the electronic ways in Cantonese, in Mandarin or in English or in these paper format ways. It's very difficult to get comprehensive pictures for the current updates and how these products work.:) reading the website = not getting any information at all.

Booked appointment half months ago and received an email said the appointment have been cancelled for the last minutes. Very disappointed! I would give zero star if it’s possible

If there is no STAR, I will definitely choose give “0”. Very long waiting time for appointment clients. Even you are with the specialist, someone can easily come into the room and stop the appointment without any excuse. The specialist even didn’t give any explanation for this and directly to serve that coming person. If have any other choice, never go to this branch at all!

Somewhere between 2015 and 2017, I went in to withdraw my funds (e-transferred $400 from TD since TD was closed and deposited into my RBC account).

I go in, the teller is confused, calls the manager over, and the manager decides to put a security block on my account.

Walked out of the branch, called RBC fraud dept, and they unblocked my account over the phone wondering why the manager had put a hold.

We need to inquire about the account name addition, I need aCantonese service, but when I go to the appointment time, the bank only provides Mandarin service, and the service attitude of this person is very poor She said that must be a lawyer’s official document, but our Lawyer said don’t need to do because the Mandarin service said need to do We paid Lawyer’s fee After we go to other RBC We found other said Cantonese service It turns out that the Lawyer’s documents are not helpful, If before that can provide Cantonese service for me, We don’t need to lose the Lawyer’s fee

Years ago the service was great. What happened to RBC? ! I was surprised to find complaints against the same rude Indian lady! She kept complaining as if doing her job and serving customers as if doing us a favor. She kepts complaining and cutting me off. Unbelievable! I was trying to finish my sentence and she would cut me off and complain! She was dealing with me in condescending way as if I understand no English! I had to say loud " could you please let me fisnih my sentence! The manager should do something about this Indian older lady. I have read several complaints against her! I will move my business to another bank soon

My Wife came to this branch this afternoon to activate the account she opened through phone to avoid having an appointment and to wait for days to open an account.

My wife asked three times, THREE TIMES the customer service if she still needs to book an appointment to activate the account and the customer service said that she assures her that she doesn’t need to! Because she already have a client number.

But when my wife arrived there, she was told that she still needs to book an appointment to do this and that they’re “under staffed” but clearly you can see that there’s no customer there and they’re just chatting and giggling around!

Will not push through with is account that we want to open in this bank.

Rude and Lazy staff will cost this RBC branch in the long run.

Will go back there on Monday to get the name of the lady and the manager and will post it here.

The teller, her name was Christina I believe. An Iranian looking lady has the rudest 'know it all' attitude with zero banking knowledge.

Wonderful experience! Today, I visited RBC branch to make a name change on my accounts. RAMANI, who was at basic banking window helped me with my request. She has a great knowledge regarding the banking and helped me to get a new saving account as well. 5 stars for RAMANI

Horrible experience! Today, I visited RBC branch to make a name change on my accounts. Hermina, who was at busines wicket helped me with my request, took copy of legal name change certificate, old and new driver's licence and said everything had been updated. I was in the branch for over 20 minutes. However nothing has been updated, no change was done to my account, she even didn't record my new id on the system, no comments were left. Also needed pin for my master card and she said it has been cancelled, didn't even contact credit card department to fix the issues. She asked me to leave the branch when call credit card department outside of branch. I understand it was because of covid, however what I don't understand that she made me to visit another branch for the same issues. Why am I visiting 2 branches during covid and wasting my time for just a simple name change? I realized that my name wasn't changed on the system when I called the credit card department and they have advised me to visit another branch. So disappointed!

This is the first time I complain to any bank in Canada. But I never experience this worst customer service, her name is SADAF GANJI, RBC should teach her about customer service, she is very Rude, and do not want to solve customer problem! And the weird thing when I go to other branch At Victoria and Vanhorne, that other bank solve my problem in less than one minute, so who’s fault it is?

The workers at this branch works never professionally. The lady who sitting in the business box transfer me to mandarin spoken person without any explanation. By the way I’m not chines. Useless branch with rude manners workers.
I have to go to the other branch to do everything again.

I have really bad experience mortgage deal with the mortgage specialist from this branch. She is not responsible about my mortgage case, which cause the issue that I cannot get the funds on the closing date. Since her unprofessional fault, we need to pay the daily penalty on the delay payment for the property that we brought. This story actually is two years ago. The reason why I post the review just today is my mother who has a really good heart do not want to bring a trouble to this person. Also, when I met this kind of situation, I just graduated and do not have any social experience. Therefore, I just let it go and did not do anything about it. I think it is a time to tell the truth and do not want another person have similar terrible experience as mine. She is sitting on the second floor, age around 40-50 years old, a Chinese lady.

The first female employee on the left disappointed me. Her language ability made us unable to understand her English at all, and her attitude was extremely bad, which made our experience very bad. I do n’t know if this employee is a new employee or what happens. She didn't understand banking business at all, and her attitude was extremely bad. She told me that the bank can only contact customers by mail. The bank would not call the guests. This is crazy. I have never heard of such rules. If the bank does not help me solve this problem, I will ask the media to expose you, the employee who brought us trouble, she is sitting in the first window on the left today and wearing glasses. She is wearing blue clothes. Today, this employee is really unqualified!

There is a broker called Yousef Fattahi who is persian and he’s obviously not fit for office. The minute he starts talking, he asks personal questions and insists on giving him a good rate on the RBC survey. Unacceptable behavior

The teller named Hussein at the counter so rude!!!When I stood in front of him, he ignored my problem and he continued to chat with other staff. And he rolled his eyes at me in our entire conversation…If you don't want to do your job, don't ask the guests to come to your line OK?

I was so disappointed and angry with rbc for the first time, I hope that the customers who go there again, if you have time, please choose other employees to serve you, for your beautiful day will not be destroyed.

Very very very bad RBC Branch.
I DEPOSIT CASH IN ATM TO PAY MY CREDIT CARD PAYMENT. IT SHOW I HAVE MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT BUT CANT PAY MY CREDIT CARD. I WENT TO THE BRANCH AND TOLD THEM I DEPOSIT CASH BUT I CANT PAY MY CREDIT CARD THEY LOOK AND TOLD ME THAT I MUST WAIT BY END OF THE WEEK SO THE FOUND CLEAR THEN I CAN PAY.
I TOLD THEM I DEPOSIT CASH NOT CHECK THEY SAID THAT THE ATM IS DEALT BY THIRD PARTY SO IAM SCREWED.
VERY VERY VERY VERY BAD BRANCH
NEVER HAD ANY ISSUE WITH OTHER BRANCH
ALSO THEY HAVE 3.3 STAR NOW I KNOW HOW BAD THIS BRANCH IS.
I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS BRANCH ANYMORE.

I have been a client at RBC for many years and this is worst experience I've had, went to this branch for the first time because it's close to my school, to deposit my tuition reimbursement cheque.the young woman who helped me judged me from the moment I went to her, apparently I couldn't have gotten a cheque for that amount "legally", so she put it all on hold, even though she validated it and its from a recognized institution. Now I just feel like closing all my accounts and cancel all my investments and everything that I have with Rbc because of this employee.

Absolutely useless.
Teller saw me, continued with conversation, without even a "one moment" sign.
When I was called over the app teller rolled his eyes at me and gave attitude the entire time.
"Why would you do this" THATS WHY IM HERE
Out of the three tellers there, just my luck got me the worst.
Took my card and left.

New customer to RBC had terrible experience in this branch. The staff was rude and helpless, it seem like he doesn't like his job there. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. BTW RBC ATM has four-days waiting period, it is unacceptable.
