This is the most luxurious branch but the worst service. Because I had a family emergency, I needed to wire a large amount of money abroad. The teller I talked to had no authority, so she went to the manager for authorization. The branch was not busy at that time, but the manager did not come over to understand the situation and provide help at all, so the inexperienced teller just rejected my request. Fortunately, in the end, my needs were properly resolved at another branch.

This is the absolute worst RBC and customer service in the entire city. The staff should be embarrassed. The management should be embarrassed. RBC should be absolutely utterly embarrassed. It took me over an hour to get a bank draft yesterday. I actually left without getting it due to the incompetence of the staff working there. I then walked over to CIBC and managed to get one in less than 5 minutes. I will be canceling all of my RBC accounts including my private banking and moving things over to another bank that will obviously have more competence than RBC. RBC do better or five years from now you will have no customers left. I plan on telling my staff of 3,000 people today the entire story and let them make up their own mind if they want to leave your utterly embarrassing company that you have become

Complete garbage.

You give them 100USD to deposit into their OWN clients account however they eat the currency exchange.

This location is convenient and the people are well intentioned but RBC systems can’t handle basic needs of their customers.

I tried to get a credit card for my Business for 3-4 months and was unsuccessful. The application couldn’t be filed electronically and later was not filed even using older systems.

The tools account managers have at their disposal is a joke. I watched them just keep filling out the same form with the same information until it worked. It feels like the systems are stuck in the 90s.

I applied for an AMEX card and got it in 4 days. Will not be returning to this bank for expanding my services as something is clearly broken.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. I am a small business owner. I had an appointment scheduled to meet a RBC Branch Business Advisor (Malovi Roy Chowdhury) at 1 pm, Location: 88 Queens Quay W, Toronto. As a professional courtesy, I arrived 5 min early for the appointment and waiting to be served. Finally, I reach a branch-agent - who got me seated, and he went in to let Malovi know, her 1 pm appointment was here. I sat there for 45 min without being served. I finally could not wait any longer -I shared my concerns with the branch-agent and left without talking to the Advisor.

I am hoping this feedback will be a learning experience for the leaders in RBC:
- In 45 min - not one time did a branch rep reach out to me asking me if I have been served or if I was waiting for someone.
- Lack of accountability and ownership - Malovi called me at 2pm - apologizing and blamed it on the branch-agent for not having notified her.

Poor customer service. Wasn't notified about my appointment being cancelled. Advisor gave false information in regards to achieving my financial goals.

I get to eat here a lot since I work nearby. I have to say the customer service is always excellent and they keep the place well kept at all times. Rates are fair and they serve generous portions.

It might have been great in the past, but this is the worse branch by far. Every single transaction is a mistake. Even closing an account cannot be done properly. Go to any other branches

Unprofessional staff. Whenever you want help, they’re unavailable. When you do schedule a meeting, they don’t show up on time. Useless customer service.

I definitely love this store layout over traditional bank branch layouts. Much more welcoming and conversational. I felt more of a person here than I ever have at a bank before. I hope other banks take notice!

Unprofessional people. I went there to grab my debit card after opening account on call. They said I don’t need appointment to pick up my stuff. I waited for 25 minutes and they were handling other walk ins. I left and still haven’t activated my account

Poor customer service. I was helped by an intern who was not knowledgeable, but kept interrupting me to finish my sentences as if he was.

Nice partnership with teams. A very successful Bank. They are an institution, the staff are courteous, polite and efficient. Looking forward to more meetings with business, finance professionals. They handle competition just as well as CIBC, Scotiabank and TD.

Excellent location. Love the design and most of the staff members are very friendly and polished. Very different and unique experience here
