RBC Royal Bank

I've been a loyal RBC client for 17 years. RBC used to be one of the best banks in Canada regarding customer service. However, the bank teller told me today, "You are wrong; I've been doing this for 15 years, " instead of genuinely trying to help me—such an awful experience. Rude and disrespectful.

Great experience with Sara Zamani at this branch. She is among the top advisors you can possibly find! She is been helping me with all my financial issues and needs over the past year and not only she does a great banking job but also she cares about her clients and puts all of her time and energy into helping them.

Had a pleasant experience with an employee (Farangis) there, who helped me with my Cheque. When I asked for new one and told her I have some old cheques with my previous address on it, she told me, you know what? You can still use your old ones by masking your old address on it and gave me a sticker to cover the address section. I know it might be tiny help, I for sure could pay for new checque, but even saving those coins as I really needed just one cheque, was pleasant for me and showed she Care for her customer!

I am giving the branch a 3 star only because of one good experience! Other than that I would give only one star.
I had so many trouble with this branch specially Mahin caused me so much trouble by her lack of knowledge & laziness in her job.

On the other hand, Sara Zamani was the only helpful person there!
She helped me through fixing her colleagues mistakes. I sincerely thank her for doing her best on the job instead of arguing with the client & making constant mistakes like her other colleagues!
Wish the manager sees this comment & do something about the general service of this branch! It’s a huge branch with really bad service & bank tellers!

Been to other branches and they do assist you, every time had to stop by this branch for emergencies never helped out for unacceptable reasons.

Worst experience at this branch. The two Asian ladies at the front desk were very rude and did not provide any assistance to my request. Too bad I don't know their names as none of their staff wears a name tag.

Terrible customer service. Slow as molasses clerk and no one to help. This is unacceptable from a bank that prides itself as one of the best in the country.

Banking with RBC for over half a decade. Great service, Great staff! Thanks to Sara Shamsollahi who is a very professional advisor and always a pleasure to deal with. She always provides expertise for my money matters, personal finances and investment. I’ve never experienced any negative in this branch.

One of the best RBC branch I had dealing with. I have been banking with RBC for so many years, absolutely excellent service as usual. Advisors are always helpful, they solved my banking problems efficiently, and recommend lots of financial advice. Met the branch manager, Saha, a few times, she was absolutely nice and helpful. Will definitely continue business here.

This was the worst experience I have had. In business, bad stuff roles down hill. The management and tellers here are so regimented, it's impossible to do business. I will never EVER return to this branch.

Every time I come here there is only 1-2 ppl working and the line takes forever. They don’t care about other ppls time.

Very poor and rude service. I'm banking with CIBC and BMO now in large part due to the service I received at this branch, so thanks for pushing me to make the move I guess?

Nice people and almost organized but my main problem is that there is no accessible parking space what so ever, you either gotta park underground and pray to god to get out of there and find your vehicle there again since its a little complicated! Or pray to find a parking space on shops on yonge that you will prefer walking next time!

One of the worst RBC branch I have ever experienced. Expect to wait more than 30 minutes per customers to be served EVERY TIME! The management here is so poor compared to other RBC branches I have been to. I also had an experience where I called this branch more than 10 times and they don't answer the phone. I even called RBC customer line in which, they could not even get a hold of any advisers at this branch.the representative told me she had left them a note to call me back but I have never received any calls.it's really really bad branch.

Very poor experience at this RBC Branch. Waited for more than 30 minutes to get service. When I went to the teller, the bank employees were talking amongst themselves in a foreign language.

This is the worse branch of RBC unfortunately is the only one closeby home, but is the second time that I go there for a product and they do everything wrong. Waiting for three months a credit card and they didn't even call me or reply my emails. Finally I have to apply again by phone. This same situation happened twice to me. There they don't care about the clients. Don't go there never

This bank is surrounded by lots of businesses as a business person I don’t like to see my self waiting more 20 min every day in the line up to do the banking, they should increase their tellers and should open a line for people who does business with this bank!

I went to this location if they can cash in my MoneyGram cheque, because I used to do it to the other location even you don’t have RBC account but you have to pay $5. The guy said “how can I give you cash when you don’t have account here?

They don’t deserve a single star.

The most stupid branch I’ve ever gone to, they booked me for an appointment today at 5: 30, and when I did go to the branch they said sorry we’ve made a mistake! There is no one to assist you. Never going back

Carmen Huang was really helpful in providing me with all the details I needed to open an account with RBC. She spent as much time with me as I needed to understand how it all works and go through the process. I just hope the same attitude continues as the banking relationship goes on.
