I would never use this company. I witnessed one of their drivers almost run over a pedestrian by running a stop sign, and I couldn’t even report it to RCC head office because the driver’s license plates were completely stripped of all colour and were just metal.

If these are the people they employ and the precautions the company takes when it comes to monitoring the safety of pedestrians and the certification of their vehicles that are on the road, I would never trust them to do work on my home.

Nicholas is their rep to assess the basement damage. He was courteous, professional and explained what needs to get done. He pointed out which area needs attention to eliminate the water seepage. A week later, Anthony and his crew did an incredible job on this 50 year old Oshawa bungalow home. He made an effort to call me while i was in the office to explain what was done and pointing out a crack which was also patched.
It has been almost a month now and been raining off and on and thus far no wet basement or moisture can be seen. To top this off, Anthony even planted some of the plants back that can get retained.

I tried to get a free quote from RCC waterproofing for a leaky cold cellar and it was a bad experience. It took more than two days to hear back, and when I would call their service hangs up on you before reaching an agent within two minutes of waiting resulting in having to call back many times. When I did finally talk to a specialist he tried to diagnose the problem without even coming to the home to inspect it (he just used Google Street view), and it was clear he didn't want the job. Maybe they do good work, but the customer service was bad enough I will never know.

Words cannot express how happy I am with the work that was done by RCC to fix my crawl space after it started to leak in water. I received a very timely response back from Anthony after I called in. He was out the next day and went over the work that was required. I received a great quote within hours and the quote was very reasonable. The work was scheduled and done within a few weeks. The crew that came out was led by Darwin. He and his team were very friendly and professional. The quality of work was outstanding. They cleaned any mess made from removing concrete. Darwin explained to me everything that was done and how the sump pump worked. A shout out to Monica at the office that was available for any questions. 5 star all the way from start to finish

Terrible Experience - Total Waste of Time

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with RCC Waterproofing company, and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. I reached out to them with a specific job that needed to be done, and they not only wasted my time but also left me high and dry without any explanation.

I waited patiently for three days, during which they assured me that they were working on my request. However, after days of waiting, they simply dropped the bombshell that they had no time to complete the job and left me hanging with a mere "Sorry. " This level of unprofessionalism and lack of commitment is utterly unacceptable.

It's evident that RCC Waterproofing has no regard for their customers' time or needs. Their incompetence and inability to deliver on their promises have left me feeling frustrated and extremely disappointed. I wouldn't wish this kind of experience on anyone.

5 STARS FOR RICK AND ROGER AT RCC
Unfortunately, 1 week into moving in our beautiful and newly renovated home we experienced a flood in our basement. I was connected with Rick who offered honest and transparent advise based on >30 years in the business. He visited our house multiple times to inspect everything and would respond to emails within 24h and even some at 11PM at night.
Our house required a bench to extend the footing as well as an entire internal wheeping tile system. The work took just over a week to be completed - Roger and his team were all excellent and professional! The work is very expensive but worth the money and guarentee. Now both my wife and I can sleep easy knowing that our house has a guarenteed system in place to keep the basement dry! Thanks again.

Anthony and his crew, along with operations supervisor Den, were fantastic to work with. We needed to move our excavation back one week and that was immediately accommodated. On site, Anthony and his men arrived right on time both days and did the back-breaking work like machines! Great care was taken with the property and they answered all our questions, offering their educated suggestions along the way. They showed us their work as they progressed and explained each step and process. The men were courteous and having fun, even with their heavy duty work. After the work was done, clean-up was complete and they left the site virtually as clean as it was when they arrived.
The first heavy rain will determine how successful the waterproofing efforts were, but I have full confidence that the lower level of our house will now be dry. Thanks Anthony, Den and team. You were a pleasure to work with.

Right from the initial call for help with my leaking basement to the completion of the job RCC were very professional and easy to work with.
My Sales person Den promptly came to see the work needed. He performed a through inspection of the basement walls inside the house and exterior, and provided me with a written quote. Because of the time of year March Den and I agreed to keep in touch as to when the work could commence. On the agreed date and time Choys and his crew arrived on time and were ready to go to work. They did a fast and efficient job which I appreciated because dirt had to be piled on my neighbors drive way. They had that wall done in one day (hand dug) and with their cleanup my neighbor was extremely happy. The front of the house was completed on day two.

We had one crack in our foundation that was leaking water in our basement when it rained or snow melted. And we had a few minor cracks that occasionally leaked. Den came quickly to assess the situation and provided us with a quote. I had missed showing him one spot and he had no issues to come back and assess the crack. Omar and his crew came the week after and completed the repairs in two days. During the repair, an outdoor vent cover was damaged. When I let them know about it, they came back shortly after to repair it free of charge. No issues with any of the work. Minimal mess during the whole process. Thank you.

Noel and his team where great. They got to my house early in the morning and started to get down to the problem right away. I worked full time and had asked to be kept in the loop with photos ect. Noel and his crew where all sending out pictures and details to where the issue was. Work was fast, clean and amazing. I was referred to RCC by a relative in Peel Region. I will write my review for them, then my review below. My relatives had numerous leaks in the basement of their house. It was an ongoing issue for years, and they finally had it repaired. The guys did an excellent job and returned to correct some minor issues. The end result was excellent and my relatives were happy customers after this big job was completed. FIVE STARS from my relatives.

I used the web form to request a quote for my place in KW because there was water seeping out of the floor in the basement, resulting in a small puddle. There was also a leak in a corner around a basement window, even after the original window was replaced. I never received a response after a couple of weeks, so I called the office. I was told that they are busy and I should receive a call from someone in the next couple of days. I believe it's over a month now and never heard back from RCC.
ONE STAR for you, from me. I found a very small company who took care of me instead of wasting time chasing RCC.

I heard good things about RCC Waterproofing. Mauro, a representative from the company, explained in detail all the problems and gave me a detailed plan for the work. I had work done this Monday and Tuesday. The crew, headed by Paul, was very attentive and professional. Even though the weather was very hot, they finished the work properly. The guys were courteous and I felt I could rely on their work. I highly recommend this company.

I recently had my foundation waterproofed and repaired by RCC Waterproofing. From beginning to end it was service and quality second to none. RCC sent out their sales representative Justin to go over the scope of work. Justin did a fantastic job giving me a detailed step by step outline of everything that was to be done. We had multiple leaks in our unfinished basement - one main one and a couple of small ones. We had no idea how to address it, but seeing that we are planning to finish our basement it is required. I was given a recommendation to RCC so went ahead and gave them a call. They were very responsive and Mauro came over to assess, explain the difference services needed based on crack location, and get the quote in. Online option for deposit and final payment was very convenient. On the day Paul from the crew was great to explain everything that was happening and ensure we were satisfied. The winter will be the true test, but we were very happy with your experience with RCC and would highly recommend them.

Water was leaking in a certain area of my cellar after a heavy rainfalls. Contacted a couple of waterproofing companies and decided with RCC Waterproofing. Joe Romanelli (rep from RCC) explained to me the the root of the cause (crack in foundation) in details and what entails to fix it. He was honest, professional with a sense of humour, genuine and good value. Definitely would recommend RCC Waterproofing, ask for Joe and his crew. No more leaks in the cellar.

Excellent experience dealing with both surveyor (Mauro) and the team that did the waterproofing job recently. Did a great job prepping for the work (ground cover for the excavated dirt) and left the worksite in great condition afterwards. And, the repair work improved on the previous waterproofing work (fixed a crack they found, better seal, etc.) and I felt pretty confident in the quality of their work.

RCC was actually really great. I called into the office and first spoke to a nice lady, after some exchanged information they sent out an estimator (Joe). Joe came and located a foundation crack, gave us a reasonable quote that included a lifetime leak free warranty. When it was time to do the work, it was Joe's son Joey Jr.who arrived with his crew, they've said to have 10 years of experience together. The job is now complete and done exactly how Joe explained it the day he arrived. Waiting for the next rainfall to see if it worked.

I would definitely recommend Den and Jeff’s crew from RCC to my fiends! I had a flood in my basement after hiring someone else to dig all around my house months before. Den came to assess the basement and he was able to explain where the water came from and what needed to be done to fix the issues. I appreciated all his patience with all my questions and concerns. Jeff and his team took lots of pictures of the entire process. They were also able to explain what they have found and how they rectified the issues. We had lots of rain afterwards and no water in our basement. I am one happy and satisfied customer! Thank-you again so much for all your help!

Frank and I are very impressed with the work Den and Roy's crew did on our house. The guys are very hard workers and very polite. Roy showed us what the issues were and what the crew was doing to fix them. There was one issue that Den gave us two options on, he gave the pros and cons for both. When the crew was finished they made sure the backyard was pretty much the way it was before they started.

Salesman Daniel gave us excellent advice and 3 options for fixing the basement leak. The Darwin crew did first class work and patiently answered any questions we had during the 2 days it took to waterproof 32 feet, install 2 window wells and connect the new weeping tile to our existing sump pump. Hired Rcc to do my basement. I highly recommendthis company. Justin stokes was really professional while quoting us on the job and the crew was awesome!

Spring 2019 - I went with RCC because of their positive reviews. My RCC rep sold me on the fact that they complete a four step process on the whole foundation. Specifically, their brochure clearly shows Step 1 - Tar. Step 2 - mesh. Step 3 - tar. Step 4 - Plastic Membrane with flashing. However, when my crew started they went right to Step 4. After I told them that is not what I paid for I was told that steps 1,2, and 3 are only done where there is cracking. I then showed the foreman the brochure. I also called the sales guys and was told by the sales guy that I was correct and that all 4 steps are to be completed. He apologised and said he would be raising the issues with Operations. It was only then that the crew did what I paid for. Why should I have to confront the crew and expose their lazy and incorrect work? Also, they did not have nearly the amount of stone required to properly cover the weeping pipe. I can only hope that their work is effective. In the end, you pay a lot of money for a particular product. However, if the crew cuts corners and cost, which in turn negatively affects the quality of the work, that looks horrible on the company. That is what the RCC crew did to me.

Spring 2020 - UPDATE: I recently had more foundation work done by another company and the owner of this company was aghast at the fact RCC had put NO stone on the weeping pipe he exposed. All they put on top of it was the old weeping pipe they cut out, garbage, and backfill. It's as I feared. My RCC crew only arrived at my home with painter buckets of stone in a van for a 120 foot job! Brutal.

Spring 2021 - UPDATE 2: I had RCC come back again because one of the sump intakes was plugged with mud. They dug up beside the foundation wall and found that the crew had not installed ANY weeping pipe on half of the wall before the sump. They had run out of weeping pipe and simply filled in the remaining 15 feet with dirt. Unbelievable. That is why the sump intake was plugged. So disappointed I contacted this company. That is my experience with RCC Waterproofing.

We are pleased to recommend Den, Darwin and the crew from RCC Waterproofing to any homeowner with a damp or wet basement.

In our case, Darwin and his crew dug a trench by hand along one basement wall (during our winter deep-freeze!). The trenching revealed two cracks in the concrete block basement wall, and a completely blocked weeping tile system. The crew first sealed the cracks, then installed a flexible, waterproof membrane and replaced the plugged weeping tile system along the length of the wall. To prevent the new weeping tiles from becoming plugged again, Darwin recommended that a sump pump with battery backup be installed, which he completed on the second day of the job.

We were particularly impressed by the knowledge and experience of Den, Darwin and the crew – and for their consideration for us while the work was underway, especially by completing a thorough cleanup at the end of each day.

Thanks to the hard-working crew from RCC Waterproofing - who completed the necessary work quickly and well - we have a dry basement once again! We are delighted!
