Went at 5 pm to get a cake. Had to ask someone to call for a bakery worker as there was no one there. A girl comes and tells me she can't decorate the cake with writing, she can only serve the cake. She said there was no one there from the bakery dept working at that time?

I did my shopping and the customer service was great. The lady helped me scan the bar code on vegatables

Great grocery options, very fresh produce, and nice staff. Plus, there's a Good Life ladies only gym.

Hard to find staff.hour to get a lobster. 1 time no one would get one for me.pretty disappointing

I've had a mixed experience with Superstore, used to only shop with them for flyer items, but after we ran into Shawn, one of the managers, we were stunned by his helpfulness- took us to the product we couldn't find and gave us some excellent advice on related groceries! What a rockstar!

Very beautiful super store in Antigonish. It's my first time visit in Atlantic Canada. I am super impressed with the Atlantic superstore. Very well organized, clean and well stocked. Great quality products, produce and deli. The aisles are labelled very nicely, making them easy to locate. Very good variety of Joe Fresh clothing and accessories.

Great selection of gluten free items, they seem to hire alot of young people who are very friendly and helpful! Antigonish will always be a friendly welcoming community it seems!

Good place for some unexpectional International (Indian) food collection, especially the ITC MASALA

You will find everything that you need to the best of the company ability whatever they can get from their supplier. However the staff needs to understand customer service is the key in any business. I was in the same aisle as one of the staff calling him for help he totally ignored me. I stood there for two minutes in shock then walked away.

Very wide range of variety in International food. Cashiers are very friendly. Never had a problem to find shopping cart. Very neat and clean store. Employees also help alot to find items.

In terms of operations this store has fell off, they have one person running around scrambling handing out plastic bags which is a mess at the self check out. Another down fall was getting rid of hand baskets, so now you have every customer pushing carts. What a dumb idea

The experience totally depends on whom you get at the billing counter. At times you get really nice employees and at times it’s a night mare

This store is very big and has a lot of space within and between each lane. I usually go around 10pm and it’s not very busy.

This place is large and you may spend good amount of time there if you views aisle by aisle. This place does provide real discount when fresh products are coming due.

Lots of groceries, some Joe Fresh clothing items, cosmetics, home accessories, some tools.overall prices are not too high and they have convinent parking lot, close to bus stops as well. Across is STC mall, LCBO, etc.

A bad & un-imaginable experience. Never expected this to happen in a store like Real Canadian SuperStore. At this location the store associates were not willing to help in finding out a particular product. One of them said “She will only help me with 2 items whereas I was looking for 5-7 items, which I couldn’t find in respective aisle because they were still stocking up and the was 10.00 AM in morning.

Really an excellent one stop placr. Personally purchased some food and it was delicious. The groceries are bit expensive as others, but you ll find almost everything here. So I would recommend. Awesome. Best place for groceries and essential supplies, and joe fresh is a bonus! Order through app and Store pickup option during the pandemic may have saved lives!

Ohh.this place has so big variety of groceries, so better do not go there if you are not ready to collect full cart of products.

Nice and clean. I love the fruits and salad bars. Lately, I notice they offer more types of food.

Met with Kumar the Store Manager, tonight. I told Kumar that was impressed about the Cleanliness of the Store. The only thing I was not impressed with is they took away the line call, and keeping social distance at the registers.

Now that we're all getting together more you might want to get some drinks and if the liquor store is closed always try here that's why I think they're super lol.

As the name suggests.genuine and high quality products.
Sometimes you get very good deals also.

This is the first time I have been to this Superstore and I was impressed. The store has numerous items and a diverse selection of products especially in the International section. Furthermore the store is extremely well lit and spacious. The staff were also friendly. I noticed the hot food section was not as stacked, but I guess this is may be a sign of the times or demand.

The real Canadian Superstore is my favorite supermarket to date they have a good blend of up-to-date fresh products had a good price point

Long wait to checkout and it is so hard to find an employee to ask for help. There's always products that are not stocked when I visit.

I hate to give poor reviews. I made a quick stop today to get some bakery items. It was my first time at the store. The attendant in the bakery treated myself and another patron there like she was doing us a favour. Nonchalant behaviour that I've never ever experienced at any other Superstore.ever. Got my items and went to pay. Chose self checkout as it was closer, the tills looked like they hadn't been cleaned in days. There was someone working there and I asked if they were cleaning but she said she had just resumed her shift and was about tidying up. It was really filthy, unfortunately. She apologized and came over to wipe it for me. The hand scanner wasn't working either. Really disappointed and I hope the management at this store does better.

This store is very organized and clean in general, but there is one thing that bothers me which is the stores' pharmacy. A worker there named Vivian is very harsh and disrespectful to the customers which impacts my visits to the stores' pharmacy.

Usually everything is pretty well stocked but recently (last 2-3 months) I have noticed the frozen fruit and vegetable sections are half empty or more, on a regular basis. Also, in the mens washroom, there's always only 1 working light (out of 2) which makes it quite dark, and the toilet paper dispenser is usually broken which allows for the toilet paper to slide off when ripping it of. I only mentioned this because I sometimes need to take my daughter to the men's room as there are no family washrooms. These are simple things that can be easily fixed but never seem to be in proper working order.

I like this store, very spacious, very organized, I can get everything I need in one store, great garden centre, great deals on the flowers and other garden essentials, I find the PC products cost a little more but the quality is excellent, great selection for bathroom, kitchen and children’s items. Just wish the non essential items were available.soon I hope

The delays, wait times, errors I’ve experienced in the curbside pickup are so bad, that I’ve instructed all my family to NEVER use this location again

Had a very upsetting experience with the racist employee who was working shopping cart return at 9am today, June 10,2021. I was returning my shopping cart to the return area when I heard someone saying something but I couldn't discern what was being said. I looked around and couldn't see anyone. So I proceeded to return the cart. As the return area was empty at the time, I put the chain attached to the return area into the cart's slot to get my dollar back. This is when the employee working cart return came over and said "You didn't need to do that. " Being the stereotypical Canadian, I immediately apologized to the employee and told him in perfect English that "I couldn't hear what you said earlier. " He rudely asked if it was "because you only speak Chinese. " Even though his comment was discriminatory, I did not want to start a conflict with him. I was also concerned I had just broken a new policy or rule due to COVID-19. So I asked the employee "is there a reason you don't chain up the shopping carts anymore? " for my own information. The employee stated "yeah, I have to bring them back" and pointed at the store front.

Not only was it upsetting that this employee made a discriminatory comment to me, it was also upsetting that this whole incident was because he wanted a shortcut in his work. Not to mention, if I hadn't chained the cart back up, I wouldn't have been able to get my dollar coin back.

I tried calling the customer service department to notify the store of this issue but no one was picking up the phone.

This used to be what my daughter calls my "happy place". I was there sometimes 2-4 times a week. I love that the clientele is a bit more 'civilized' than our local No Frills. Pricing is higher, but, worth it to not encounter people fighting in the parking lot. Recently, something has changed here. Empty shelves are the norm so it appears that their supply chain issue of a few years ago has returned. Checking out on one occasion recently took over 20 minutes due to one woman buying dozens of gift cards (cashier should have sent her to customer service). In the next lane someone was endlessly price matching and disputing what qualified. Then the register froze and we all had to unload our purchases and move over one cash. Next time, a similar experience occurred. I may be taking my business to Metro soon. UPDATE: Things have improved very much. I commended the store manager on the obvious changes.

Great selection of groceries and a wide range of products including different cultural foods. The reason for the loss of one star is that it can be hard to find particular cultural products and their staff don't seem to know. It would be helpful if they put the location on their website. However, I love, love, love that the price match sooo many the different competitor stores.

They have repaved the entrance area last year. But unfortunately there are still some massive pot holes in this parking lot. The lines are also quite faded.

Other than this, pretty regular grocery store.

I tried PC express at this location during the holidays, and I was very pleased with my PC express experience. Princess and Hameed were very helpful and courteous during my order pickup, as they made sure my order was completed to my liking and corrected any issues I had with my order with ease. They defiantly made my experience a pleasant, fast and stress-free one. Keep up the great work!

The store I can find things, food primarily, that is almost impossible to get elsewhere. If you're looking for fruits or vegetables out of season, specially frozen ones, this is the place to go to.

Awful store staff. People don't know where their products are. Even the manager don't go out of their way to try and help you find an item. They also don't help you bag here and that makes for a long wait when you can out. Awful, awful, awful.

Okay, but race might be a thing here. Scary when it seems like everyone watches you buy stuff and avoids you at the same time.

This is a great superstore location; huge selection of everything. The layout/footprint of the store seems to be different than other locations so it can be challenging to find what your looking for. Otherwise, I usually always find what I needed, plus more.

Well on Sunday I was in to buy a few things, when I got to the checkout I went to pay with an older style paper $20 bill and was told by the cashier that they cannot take them anymore, I had to take it to the bank. I did not have any other money on hand so I had to leave my items there. If this is a thing I think it should be posted somewhere. I am sure I am not the only one that this has happened to. I was not at all happy. They lost my business and I did a lot of shopping there. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER! I will be complaining to head office as well. I had to click a star to be able to post this but I would not give them any stars!

I love shopping here. You can find everything you need from fresh fruit and veggies to milk and eggs. Clothes makeup and footwear. The points are great and easy to earn. This is my go to place for my shopping needs.

The best super store I've seen across Canada. Incredibly friendly staff, very neat store with plenty of selection.

Always find what we need, but often times the customer service is lacking here.
Number of checkouts open often times does not serve the number of customers in the store!

Inappropriate parking by people toward the front door congests the area and makes it unsafe for pedestrians. Please address this area and enforce the no parking zones.

The one stop shop for all your family needs. I really appreciate the self service check out counters. Makes life a much easier.

The store is good outside of the bakery staff. They wouldn't even acknowledge me waiting to order a cake.

I go here mostly for the natural foods isles. Or the later hours. Otherwise they are a bit more expensive

Nicely laid out spacious aisles! Friendly cashiers. Nice variety of brands. Sometimes the vegetables and fruits are not as fresh but generally ok.

This is an ok store. I have always like the superstore from when I was living in BC. This store has an dedicated international section which is better than most store. Also at this store you are able to collect PC points which can later be redeemed in store.

I love shopping here. However, be cautious when using the online shopping service. If an item has no substitute, the clerk's will drop the items without a word. The items do not appear on the bill, but it causes additional inconveniences when you have to circle back and walk through that enormous dwelling to get the one or two missing items.

Good place for shopping. 4 star because I didn't get all the items that I needed. Items are fresh most of the time. Price is little bit high compare to Walmart.

Huge store. Great variety and assortment. There is a clinic, optic store, and atm all located inside the store compound.

Shopping at the superstore after shopping at loblaws for a few years made it seem like a very low end version of Loblaws Superstore. Kind of like Walmart and Nofrills combined. I found the service worse, the store cluttered and hard to find items, as well as less clean and pricier than Loblaws. If I’m not mistaken, even the shopping carts only took loonies, which made it extra annoying if you were out of spare change.

Great store, but very slow service. There was 3 tils not being used. Snails move faster then the lines here. Think I'll try sobeys next time. Wasnt happy at the service timing at all. The longest time ive ever spent in a line to buy food.: - (

There is a good life close to it plus prices are same as walmart or no frills. Cheap and fresh fruit

Good produce, very good hot table, large selection of products, the only negative here is the self service checkouts, I will never use one, this company is just like so many others wanting you to do the work, wrong if you have to use a self service checkout than at least give the consumer a 5% discount, we do the work as a consumer so we should get reworded for it since you are saving on staff, very bad decision, take this one home Galen Weston add staff not self service checkouts learn from Costco, high speed serviced checkouts

Hard to go wrong - but get your beef and bacon at Sobeys.

Good for general groceries with some prepared food sashimi, vegitable and fruit platters. Good bakery and fresh prepared foods. Pharmacy, Alcohol, Presidents Choice kiosk and large Joe section. Better pricing than the nearby Metro. More local fare than the nearby Bestco.
I also find that sale items run out frequently.
Nearby Walmart and Freshco are quite a bit less expensive but of course these two have a much more limited selection

One of my go to grocery stores to visit. Very clean, lots of food options. Staff is quite helpful. The only thing they need are more cashiers or more self-service kiosks to get the lines moving a bit faster.

Was nice to be back home and visit this location. The store is pretty clean, organized, looks good, plenty of variety, friendly staff.

Nothing too crazy about this super store by comparison to others. Has food and a households section. Has a pharmacy and a doctor's office. Has cooking classes and a woman's only gym upstairs.

I feel like every time I go there they have stopped carrying something! I've been a loyal Superstore customer for years but honestly Sobeys has a better selection these days (especially for Gardein and Daiya products!) and their prices for the Gardein products are much lower! Like a ridiculous discrepancy. 3 stars for the staff, who have always been very kind and helpful.

I don't know what a "real" canadian or a "real" superstore is but this has seaweed snacks for cheap. Otherwise I'm sure the prices are inflated as are all prices at Weston family outfits. Sucks to them.

Mostly same products that you can find in Nofrills but higher prices. Organic available. Nice and clean. Self checkout available. Their printers for the receipts need attention since months ago

Never enough checkouts open! Always trying to make you use self checkouts! Some of the staff can be very rude!

Great store, really organized compared to some of the other ones I've been to. Organics and natural foods were accessible and noticeable.

Had everything from produce to clothing to cell phone accessories and toys. Staff were patient and helpful, as well as aware, especially at the self check-out. Overall a pleasant experience.

Lots of variety and good selection of fruits and vegetables as well as meet quality is good. They now have self serve checkouts.
