Real Canadian Superstore

I don't shop here often; but I should. They still serve their human customers with actual humans; Best Practices. They have electronic check outs, of course, but still have a few cashier lanes open every time I shop. It has more selection than the other grocery stop, owned by the same people, I shop at. It's clean and bright, and has multiple serving options that might mean you don't even have to enter the whole way into the building. Can't say anything bad about this store

Just bought cheese the other day and it's already moldy! Only 1 day after we bought it! Also they mainly just have giant carts which really crowd up the store wish they has more little ones and/baskets

I used to really like this store. Now you’re lucky if there’s a cash or two open, the lineups are ridiculous, I’ve gone in and walked out multiple times because the wait times make it untenable, even on what are normally quieter hours during the week, I’m not shopping on Saturdays. There’s nothing that they sell that merits waiting in line when there’s two cashes open and a dozen people in the self checkout line, and that’s the norm now. When I can go to any other grocery store and get faster service. And it’s not as if their prices are competitive.

One of the only supermarkets that do price matching. Use the flipp app to find the best deal, show it at the cash register, and they'll match that price!

Took one star off because their parking lots are always full, and you have to circle the lot for 10-20 minutes until you find a spot.

This a great store and has pretty much everything you need. It's very pricey through. Alot of fresh goods to choose from also.

Everything is great except for parking. The worst parking lot layout I’ve ever experienced.

I frequently shopped here at RCS in Westboro when I was residing in this area. The only impediment in later years was the LRT construction disaster. Very nice in Westboro while RCS pretty much had it all.

Can you take down the COVID barriers at the till please, I have a hard time hearing the cashiers and COVID is over anyways. Thanks

Street-facing entrances need to be re-opened, I shouldn't have to walk around to the back to get into the store.

Product availability and produce quality isn't as good as it used to be, and prices have gone up significantly. They are one of the few grocery stores left that still price match, which is what keeps me coming here.

Good and big! Different in terms of selection compared to RCS in western Canada, but still good

Be careful at this location! There's an employee, a woman in her 40s, who refuses to wear a mask and she's around customers when stocking the shelves. She should be fired.

Found everything I was looking for, and I was able to check-out all my products incredibly quickly. There were some great pre-made sandwiches and meals available in the deli. Everything in the store is very clean and organized overall. If you are looking for great prices and equally good products, definitely check out this Superstore.

Unprofessional staff, Eric at the self serve needs to cool it with his attitude and they need to bring bad offering bags at the self serve becuase its very slow.

Wide aisles, good quality products at reasonable prices. Can get busy so best to shop in off hours.

I love this store. Convenient location, affordable prices, quality products and has everything I need.

Their web site said they had a product I wanted in stock, so I went there despite the distance. After a fruitless search, finally found customer service tucked away in a back corner, who checked their computer and said they had never carried it. Half a day wasted.

Large store, I expect it's high volume as there always something I want that the shelf is empty.

Produce is usually reasonably priced and fresh. Their on sale out of seao n clothing discounts are exceptional. They really do not want to store seasonal items long term and markdowns are real

Big space, lots of items food related and in orderly fashion. Some good deals, some good food choices and good service.

Beautiful store well organized anything and everything you could think of you could find at this location and I like their selection of nails sweet ice cream

I don't often go to that store but this time I have noticed very vast improvements with the variety of products and price, so I will go back more often from now on.

The store is well located on Richmond near downtown. Washrooms are clean. Great products selection. Fruits and vegetables are always fresh.

It is a great place to get in your steps as they put things like the merchandise and drug store between the grocery and produce. Great work out. However, if you are unable to do long walks, go to the Metro store two blocks down the street as it would fit in their produce section.
Why 4 stars? I just threw away a rain check for an item on sale 8 months ago that they never brought back.

Most unmanaged and patheticly stocked store I've ever been in. Produce so rotten it should be thrown away not marked down 30%. Staff that looked like burned out junkies as well no disinfecting of any surfaces on the check outs, nore do they enforce the shopper to wear masks. What a mess, the managers are probably slobs as the store reflects this. Avoid sickness and pass on shopping at this location for real!

Entrance has no sanitizer unless you count what was on the floor, no hand wipes for buggies, when I asked someone was told we dont have time to monitor that! Sorry, you have lost a.customer!

I was super annoyed at how slow the line was going one day at Westbank Superstore because I was petty and selfish. The cashier had a mask on but she looked very young and brown skin and dark hair. She was talking to the people in front of me, or rather letting them talk about the fires and their being displaced. She was super empathetic and helpful and it meant everything to the evacuated family. She was over and above.i didn't see her name but I hope she stays that sweet. Impatient people like me learn from a person like that, even if it takes weeks to kick in.

When checking out I asked for separate payments. I told the cashier i would be tapping my card for PC points, and paying with a different card. She didn't hear/listen, so I'm sent to " customer service" to fix the issue. This is a hole in the wall, with a broken door, manned by one overworked person. Despite dozens of employees in the store, it's on her alone to sell tobacco, lottery, semi-expired goods, AND fix payment issues. I was very frustrated waiting in this line while others purchased cigarettes and played the lotto.

The also didn't have the one product I went in for, Frozen pretzels, despite them sold at other Loblaws and Independent (PC stores) in the area.

Not a "super" store.

This was the worst store I have ever been too. Not monitoring how many people are in the store, tons of people without masks, staff completely blocking isles so you can’t go down them, and the prices were absolutely disgusting. The staff were extremely unorganized and rude, do not shop here if you can help it.

K I'm sorry. I'm an evacuee dealing with enough. The last 2 times I've shopped here the cashiers have been ridiculously rude with me and my wife. The person we are staying with called after the first cashier was rude and disrespectful. We were assured the store doesn't condone that behavior. Then we go back a few days later and our newest cashier was even more degrading. Our bill total passed the voucher by $8.44 she rudely asked "you sure you can afford this. " I still have a voucher left should I go somewhere else or swallow my pride and return here.

Hires are uses people with disabilities pushing carts, was witness to staff yelling at one worker to move faster. Also, has a homeless problem with people asking for money at the doors.

Overall though they always have stock of fresh fruits and veg and costs are ok.

This location has overpriced fruit and is always out of stock. As well, they are harassing customers and employees through their benefits program and points system. They exploit the consumer and also rip off/engage in constructive dismissal against employees. There is a video online as well about a man accused of being an illegal alien and not paying for his groceries when he had a driver's license, residency papers, and a receipt. Avoid this location and boycott Loblaws.

Normal superstore layout, the produce area can be a bit messy sometimes. Staff isn’t the friendliest and shelves are empty half the time.

Large parking lot, clean installation, 6 self checkouts registers. There's an LCBO right across the street

One of the cleaner and well organized super stores that I have been to.

They typically have low or no stock of oat milk and silk creamer. But otherwise a good store.

Always a great experience. The store was well stocked. Had great specials on nescafé decaffeinated instant coffee at $3.95 per bottle.

Its the first time I came here and this is impressive! The store has so many choices! My family has alot of intelorences and we found a bunch of new foods that we can eat! The store is super clean and has alot of workers willing to help. The only down fall is when alot of people enter the cashier line it takes a while to check out! But otherwise I love this store and I will definitely be back!

Honestly this place is always packed and chaotic so it stresses me out in covid times, but overall there's good selection and it's a huge store with mostly good spacing. Just too many people for my liking.

Not happy with their service got A pizza I realized it was the final sale but it should go bad within the same day Plus I noticed elevator was out of service so people with mobility issues that makes it very difficult for them too sorry thought let you know.

Superstore always has great produce! Photo attached of meal prepared from the groceries bought from their store. I prefer not to go inside due to the pandemic and online ordering/pickup is so easy and the employees were very nice/happy.

Nice spacious store. Clean, organized, big selection, PC Points, and they price match. One stop shop.

Quite a lot packed into the Westboro store. Convenient self check- outs near the exit. Parking can be a challenge with the construction nearby.

Large store with Joe fresh in the middle and lots of extra stuff. Too pricy for regular groceries but I go here for the stuff you can't buy anywhere else

Superstore's ad-match policy (except for Adonis) is awesome. It will become even better when the self-checkout resumes its pre-covid policy of doing ad matches. Now I have to wait in the long Covid line for an appointed cashier.

Went and grab some odds and ends for groceries here. Was typical of a grocery big box stores. Staff was friendly and helpful. Place was well stocked and the organic Isle was decent. Found mostly what I like and a few extras. Parking lot is massive and everything was clean.

All the employees are super helpful. They manage the lines fast. They mainly have teens working there. Even they try their best to help out. Fast paced. Lines get quite long on Sundays but hey who can control that. I just try to avoid that. Other than that they always have all the shelves fully stocked

Updated review since covid: I've been using the app to order groceries from Superstore. The service has been amazing. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful when you call for the pick up. Food quality has gone up for sure and when something you order is unavailable, their substitutions are well thought out. Thank you for all the work you do.

Great store. Good selection, you can get better prices if you go to 2-3 different store but the savings is not always worth the hassle and extra time.

It's too big! For a grocery store it's too huge and if you're not a regular customer you might be a bit confused when you go there but it's a nice and clean place

Great quality produce and decently priced weekly deals. They have a bigger selection of varieties in certain brands that I don't find in other grocery stores.

I like to go early in the morning when it is not too busy. I have gone in the evening however the alcohol section will probably be closed and there might be pallets in the aisles being stocked so difficult to get around with a grocery cart. They price match which is great but there are some items that they will not price match.like the bag of clementines/mandarins for some reason.otherwise I love shopping here.

Selection is great. Pricing in meat department really seems to reflect the amount of overproduction and waste the industry makes.but NOWHERE near as bad as Metro.bigger store, employees less personable than other nearby grocers, and customers at this location often seem haughty about one thing or another.

Great store, good deals. But wish staff would no where things are. When I ask, it's always don't no, I don't work in that department. Grrr

Big fan of superstores. Their collection of Indian groceries or Asian food in general is supergood. The staff is friendly, fruits and veggies are always fresh. The store is nicely stocked. Thank you staff for your dedicated service.

Nice store, owner is a real peice of work. Parking lot is at 60% capacity and decides to get bylaw to give tickets to construction workers who buy lunch everyday from his store who are helping build condos for future patrons of his store. 0/10 do not recommend

Convenient location as we live close. Good selection with international and organic sections. If you want an experience go see Mike at the deli counter. On separate occasions he helped me with charcuterie choices and gave me tips on how to save money. Both very pleasant experiences!

The blonde woman working at the seafood department should be fired. She was so rude! Worst customer service ever! Smile for gods sake

Every time I go in, it's filled with people without masks. Yesterday a couple walked in without masks on and I overheard them laughing about how they could do it and wouldn't be kicked out. As my hubby and I walked around we counted 6 people without masks on. Our BC masks mandate includes grocery stores, unless under 12 or they cannot take a mask off on their own due to a mental or physical impairment. I spoke to someone working there and they shrugged and said "okay, well what do you want me to do about it? " This happens EVERY SINGLE TIME I am in there. At least when you walk into Walmart they have someone there who greets you and hands you a mask if you don't have one. Having a dirty table at the front door with a box of masks doesn't cut it Super Store. I'm getting sick of businesses not following the rules and not caring about it. I'm done shopping here.

The BBQ chicken, salad and dinner rolls combo in the back of the store are very tasty and a great price. Buy it and skip the dishes.

I go basically every week to get my groceries. Its a pretty good store to get all the food you need.

They hardly sell any Canadian Fruit. We have tons of apples here in the Okanagan but they import apples from the states an Mexico. They may have one kind of apple from Canada and 10 others that are Imported. That is just the apples, they do this for everything.
I used to love this place but not anymore.

This store has some of the worse employees. In the entrance or on the way out of the store, they will rush by you with large carts and cut in front of you as if you are in their way. Customers are expected to follow Covid-19 recommendations by leaving space but the employees don't respect those rules.

I enjoy this grocery store for its vast selection of foods for people with allergies and intolerance, several stores only have a small selection and limited stock, I am always pleased with the selection and price

Well organized well stocked store.

My biggest complaint is the bottle-neck where everyone has to enter and exit through the produce aisle.

I live Loblaws. But I wish they didn't allow people to return food unless it's rotten. Most of that food gets thrown away.

No employees at the entrance ever, they do not control number of people in the store. Few days ago saw a guy shopping without mask. No one working at the store stopped him at the entrance or told him to put the mask on. He just walked all over the shopping floor. It was Dec 15 2020!

Horrible, over crowded, barely any social distancing or protective measures in store to keep people 2 meters apart.

No direction in the packed aisles. No care in keeping a safe environment. A free for all store. Packed.

I think every product in the world is in this store. It's beyond massive. I'm not a frequent shopper here, but thankfully they are open late so I popped in in early January. There were a lot of staff on site busy keeping the store stocked and clean. I appreciate their work and friendliness.

You can find a place to park by a curb delivery sign and call the store. They will load the trunk with your order placed a few days before.

Sometimes the flyer items not available. Watch prices here, what your charged is not what was displayed on shelf. Check expiry dates also.

Got asked to go to the back with some employees and they stabbed me twice each, but being the god that I am, their blades snapped against my titanium flesh!

There PC Express is NOT reliable. I placed an order on Friday to be picked up on Monday between 11: 00 am -12: 00pm for a Ninja appliance. I live about 30 minutes drive to this Superstore. I left my house at 10: 30 am on the Monday to pick up the item and they sent me a text at 10: 45 am while I was on my way saying my order was cancelled. They had plenty of time to advise me of this but yet at the LAST minute they text me. I wrote to PC express to complain and just got the usual letter.sorry about that.but no contact from the store saying they will try to obtain the Ninja appliance or even an apology. Customer service is terrible.

Superstore replied.sorry we will share your feedback with our team. Really! Shouldn't they say we will try to get the Ninja appliance for you! It's the least they can do. But all I got is sorry!

The superstore is always well stocked. Even throughout the pandemic they remain very professional and organized.

It's a large Superstore. Large parking lot that can be full on weekends. Their expanded produce section and store size can seem overwhelming. Best to bring a list before going there. They are offering flu shots at the pharmacy (on the first floor)! (:

Clean, well stocked, prices arent the best in town but are pretty consistent and decent enough.

Its just another big box grocery store if you need food and you're in the area great but i wouldn't bother making a long trip for it

Produce roots way to fast every time like you have a day to eat it before it goes bad I have stopped buying from them and started shopping local farms

Long line ups are not a problem here even at peak hours there efficiency and customer service are on the top of the grocery industry for sure. Even given the higher prices but then again you pay for what you get. Higher prices = higher quality. Way better then Walmart.

If the store says it's mandatory for masks now WHY are not all employees wearing them and why are you not enforcing customers to wear them. Very disappointing. Either it's mandatory or it's not.

Looks like they don't care about COVID-19 at all as they never marked the aisles for one way traffic. Also started letting customers line up at the cash registers as usual.with no social distancing. Not shopping here.

My wife and 20 year old daughter were in store on Saturday july 4th.we were dissapointed with the trouble we had trying to social distance ourselves from store staff. Had no trouble with other shoppers but with staff. My daughter and I were looking at produce when a young man pushing a broom came right up to us and passed by us so close his broom stick end hit my daughter on the shoulder.we would have surely moved for him had he gave us the chance. My wife had another worker in the bathroom section reach right in front of her to put something on the shelf and shortly after that in the freezer section I was pushing our cart with my wife behind me when 2 staff workers passed by right beside us one one each side of us.i thought that in this day of covid fears store staff would be paying more attention to keeping proper distance from customers. Not impressed

Asked a staff member for help. "I'm off my shift don't ask me" was what I was told by a low end minimum wage worker who seemed overworked and underpaid. Fair enough.

I then asked a manager in plainclothes for help. She rolled her eyes at me, seemed inconvenienced by my question and passed me off to a lower paid employee who then helped me.

Busy always but having all the cashiers open really helps. Just don't go shopping during a "pandemic" because all the crazies cleared most products from the shelves.

This super store is big, open, and well maintained. Their international aisle is small thou. They also have pharmacie, clinic, phone services, self serve area, etc. Ppl are always nice. Never as busy as the Kelowna counterpart
