Real Canadian Superstore

Self checkout machines overcharged me. Staff did not correct price as advertised in shelf. I left my groceries and walked out.

I bought a "Grade A" turkey from this location. This is what I received. Wrapped in white plastic, so you can't even examine the bird visually before purchase. I unwrapped it this morning for my Christmas dinner tonight. This is what I am to serve to my guests. I bought 2 of these, one is still in the freezer so I have no idea if it also looks like this also. As if today's grocery prices weren't enough of a slap in the face.

Love this store! Shop here every week for groceries. This place is great if you like price matching.

Great service other than the fact that they looked through my cart. The lady in front was white and didn’t care to show the cashier her price matches and just verbally said it. Whereas I shows everything on the app but on top of that was asked to see my cart to make sure nothing was in there because “it happens”. The lady in front didn’t get the same treatment even though her cart was completely full and they didn’t bother to check. The inner racism does show, they are nice however they don’t seem to realize the racism their displaying. I showed the cart and was just shocked because not only did the cashier not check the lady’s price matches in front but he didn’t care to see if she left anything in her cart.

I always love shopping here they have so many different things for the home the kitchen for eating it's always a good place to stop I wish there was one closer

Great produce, meats and bakery department and PC favourite items. Good prices. Clean store.

I have been shopping at the Grimsby Ontario Superstore since it opened. I have never had a problem. I find the staff friendly, caring and willing to assist. The store is clean and uncluttered and well stocked, when there are no unforseen circumstances. Price match allows me to comlete all my shopping needs.

Watch expiry dates on meat, smell before you buy. Have purchased expired meat/poultry one too many times at this location.

Busy Saturday at Superstore. No carts in the store when I arrived and when I left, and watched 5 indoor staff standing around gabbing at the self checkout when I was leaving. Also shelves with sale signage that was two weeks old. A little disappointing to see how staffing/scheduling/management is being handled lately.

Send "Victoria" on customer services on a "listening skills" course. I told her I wanted a Lotto Max, a 649 and a Daily Grand, all with Encore. She managed to conjure up in her mins that I also wanted an "Ontario 49" ticket (whatever that is - i've never bought a ticket for it before). I will tell you what I want, don't upsell me lottery tickets I don't want, thankyou.

I love this store because they have free WIFI, they price match, they do PC points, their cashiers are always so friendly and kind, and they have a huge Joe Fresh clothing section!
Their Asian food aisle could use some work, but overall, love this grocery store.

There's something not right going on and I'm extremely upset. I ordered the new squishmallows as soon as they showed up on the website and chose for pickup asap but my ordered got cancelled. When i called to ask why I was told "we didn't get them in yet that's why, don't worry they're not sold out. "
I placed the same order for pickup the next day right after that (asap), and was planning to keep doing that so I don't miss them.
Now I get an email saying it's cancelled again due to it being sold out and when I called again I'm now being told "yeah they all sold out yesterday sorry".
I've clearly been lied to and this is extremely unfair and upsetting. They apparently had only 2 of each in stock for the entire store as I was told and they sold out yesterday even though I ordered then and was told they're not even in yet. I was also told they're not going to get more. This is just extremely frustrating and this was the only store near me I could get these from. Thanks a lot.

Toilet in handicapped bathroom was not properly attached to the floor. Huge problem, especially for someone who has had a stroke and staff did not seem to care.

Only thing I docked a star off for, is the self check out stations. We’re not paying for the bags but you have to ask someone to bring you plastic bags to pack your groceries, and even then they only give you 1-2 bags which is annoying since you have to keep asking for more based on how much you have.

For travelers along the QEW, this is a location where you can stop to get to food, baby food, home stuff, health & beauty, pet supplies, tech accessories, office supplies, toys, and BBQ stuff. There is even a LOWE'S right next door.

I am so thankful for the amazing staff at PC Express grimsby. Today i picked up an order, the cleaning supplies leaked and damaged my produce and meat items.
I had the best service, order re-shopped immediately.
I am so thankful for Assistant manager Julie, Shopper Adriel and Marie on her day off taking the time to help me.
All of these ladies went above and beyond. I can't thank you enough.

I liked shopping here. I was quite a regular. Staff was friendly, decent prices and the store was clean. Unfortunately, the good qualities about this store goes down the drain when you see a pharmacist never wearing a mask, at least never properly. This is someone who handles our medicine, is supposed to be a medical health expert & encourage others to use it PROPERLY. All of the other pharmacists wear the mask properly so it doesn’t take long to know who I’m talking about. She has red hair, shorter lady and has her nose sticking out all the time. You can’t miss her! If I see her take things more seriously by the next visit or two (hoping this will be seen), I will change my review, please discuss this with her as this is a serious issue and concern as she is handling our medicines. Thank you!

We live downtown Hamilton and only recently decided to take a short road trip to Grimsby to try this store out (pandemic boredom I suppose) and boy are we happy we did that. This has become our favourite grocery store, the selection is truly unmatched at any grocery store in Hamilton. There are products here we have never seen before, and now love. Their hot prepared chicken is even better quality than what you find at Fortinos as is their sushi and ramen bowls! Then you have the bonus of other non grocery products such as clothing and housewares almost making this a one stop shop experience. Pricing seems to be ever so slightly below Fortinos prices for most items and and some staple items even match No Frills pricing. Lastly the staff here are fantastic, super friendly, helpful and well organized. I wish there was one right in Hamilton but we now gladly make a weekly trip to shop here!

I love the employees here. When you cash out they actually engage in a conversation with you and are always willing to help.

The shelves are tidy and it’s easy to find what you are looking for.

Ok place to shop, but I think they use second best produce that other stores like Sobey, s or Fortino, s would turn down. I bought some celery for like 3.99 and it was black in the middle when pulling the stalks apart. This store is good if you want one stop shopping for a large variety of items.

Idk if I missed it but they had a whole aisle of beer.but no fridge to be found. First grocery store without a beer fridge I've ever been too.

I used the self checkout and I had to ask the employee working that area to clean the screens and I also noticed when I left she didn't clean it for the next customer. She stood up against the wall. I was very surprised. I think this needs to be addressed ASAP.

Store was clean and tidy offered lots of items are only disappointment was two bags of carrots that we bought were slimy and soft, had to throw them out

Great open concept 'fresh section'. Prices are a little too much for everyday things that could be cheaper.
If I just wanted to grab a lunch I want to keep it under 6$ but that's impossible. Female clothing appears to lack quality and size avail.

Alcohol section hours should be posted before entering the building, and entering the Isle. Alcohol should be refrigerated.

Why can't the very basics be closer to the doors instead of a huge pile of chocolate. And a gigantic Isle of chips.

Big store. Well laid out. Huge inventory in all grocery/food departments, house wares, pharmacy, clothes. Lots of local craft beer & cider offerings plus domestic & imported. Good prices & club sizes too. Worth the trip.

Today was the first time I have ever been to this store. I loved it and I definitely will be returning.

Needs to have product on the shelves when they are on special. Shelves should not be empty on day 1 of a new flyer.

Great experience every time I go shopping here. Always have all of the check-out's open and staff are always so friendly and helpful. Store is also always stocked, I am never left looking at an empty shelf, even when there is a super sale!

I like the fact that it's right off the highway, and not buried in the heart of the city like most, making this Grimsby location at Casablanca easier to access.
They also have the widest scope of price matching competitors to make RCS a true one stop shop.

The store is basically in the middle of nowhere, and it has nearly everything a family needs. Wide selection of products including halal meats and many different types of over the counter medicines. The prices are fair and the staff is very helpful and they seem to like their job. The parking lot is enough at all times and it's convenient. The store is just beside the service road where you can access the highway easily.

Its a good store if you want higher level of stuff then walmart. They have a great selection of fruits and vegetables plater. Its fresh and you can tell that by tasting it. The salads are also very fresh and taste really good! They have a lots of variety in cheese

Best superstore around and we travel from oakville to specifically shop here for our groceries. Freshest fruit and better deals on meat. Specifically the meat section has a bigger and wider range of beef and why we keep coming back. Staff are always helpful and friendly

Beautiful store with plenty of parking. Prices are a bit higher than many other local stores but being able to get everything at one stop is appreciated.

I'm have been a shopper at the Superstore for quite some time and have been mostly happy but today was a truely disappointing experience.
Went in to pick up a few things and sadly had to go to another near by store to buy several of my items. Here's the rundown:
The bagged salad was a day away from expired and was turning brown.
The cucumbers were moulding or had some really nasty looking marks, found issues as well w some of the Tomatoes.which were slim pickings to start with.
The bananas were so green they would need to sit on my counter for a week before I could eat them.
The selection of canned veggies was truely pitiful
And
Found expired yogurt in the coolers
I understand that in a store this size some things will slip through the cracks from time to time which is why i always check the dates but today was a downward spiral of disappointment. I left after finding only half of the items on my list and finish my shopping elsewhere.
I really hope this is not the new norm for this store.

Typical store, everytime they get decent product they seem to discontinue stocking it shortly after.

This is one of the best Canadian grocery stores. I personally enjoy shopping there. I have never had any problem in any location that I have visited.

Overall ok experience just need more people working at the deli counter. Very slow each time I go! Last time lady infront of me waiting 20 minutes for her order!

They will price match other stores. Generally a good selection.

They rearranged the store years back and it is sometimes harder to find things. There are pillars in the middle of aisles and can be harder to move up and down aisles

There is now a new manager mid 2019. The old one was miserable.

Really enjoy the shopping experience here. The variety is great, and the housewares section is always a fun browse. Prices are sometimes higher than other grocery stores, so use their price match system.

Superstore is a great place to do your shopping. They price match any item from a grocery store within a 10 km radius. Sell tons a craft beer here. Very large pharmacy. Nice store all around

I'd say good management. Really helpful and friendly staff all around. Lots of selection on various items. Great specials also.

I was just there 5 minutes ago at the beer lane checkout. Cashier was throwing my items at me and didn't even inform me that I had gotten a free treat box for spending $250 or more. Had to go to customer service to confirm the offer and she was even worse! Rude and not personable at all. Train your staff better!

Great store, I grew up coming here it’s like home now. Always have a good time. I love coming later as it’s not busy but a great time to shop. Love this store!

Was the first time being here, love how you can get everything you need, (One stop shop) all in one place.

We were used to Target and Walmart stores. This Canadian version of that is no disappointment. Lot's of choices in fresh food an household supplies.

I'm also fascinated with loblaw group companies including real canadian superstore, fortinos and loblaw

The place is clean. Fresh hot and cold dishes served aside from the grocery items.
This location is accessible in the casablanca exit of QEW.

Store offers a great selection of produce and meats. Wonderful and clean place to shop and get reasonable prices. Have a wonderful experience here. I did.
