5 stars for the awesome lady at the customer service desk today! She manually punched in my entire very large order so I could pay with my PC Points as it didn’t work at the cash. And she did it all with a smile and not an inch of annoyance! This lady deserves a raise!

Real Canadian super store is a mini Costco. Here you will find bulkish themed products with oversized chip bags and often discounts on purchasing 2 or more of an item. They have decent selection, extremely fair prices, hot foods, and a clothing/superstore section with products you might expect to see in a Walmart. Excellent place to pick up snacks.

I enjoy shopping at superstore. But recently I've noticed that they don't have enough lanes open and lines take a long time. I needed two items and waited in line for 20 minutes.

Clean and bright. Have pretty well everything which is good for one stop shop, but always takes longer than usual if you want to grab a few items. It's best to pick up seasonal stuff at the end for good discounts. Easy to price match items in flyers. Checkout is usually quick. I've stopped buying fresh fruits and vegetables here as I find they go bad / rotten quickly compared to Longo's or Costco.

This is one of the greatest store I have been to. The staff are super nice and friendly, the store does not feel crowded and cramped at all like other stores. And the prices are decent enough, do not expect them to be as low as some value-marts but they are not as high as other high-end stores.

This is quite frankly an exceptional supermarket. The staff are amiable, the products are good, and it seems that they took everything into account (vegan section, etc.).

Were at a superstore today. Two people in their 40s were proudly walking around the store with no masks.

We politely asked two employees about it and were rudly dismissed. I think that it's totally fine if folks have medical exemptions, but what are the chances that they both would.

Superstore's employee's response was alarming to say the least. I doubt that they even asked them and truly we don't feel safe there as I dont think that they are interested in upholding their own policies.

Huge sign saying they price match but they don't price match FreshCo. Guess you know that FreshCo has such great prices. However you have a lot of food in your "health food" aisle so sometimes I have to shop here.

All of there stores are wonderful. Remind of a small mall. PC products are good and chicken is always good.

Entry and exit is restricted to the main entrance alone supposedly so they can keep a count of people in the store - except that often there are no staff posted to do any counting apart from peak times. Unnecessarily doubling the walking distance from your car is fine for the young fit and healthy. But it's a pain for the elderly and infirm - especially when there's clearly no logical reason why an absence of counting can't happen in multiple places rather than just one.

Purchased a gift card for my daughter here but before purchasing it I checked with the self checkout rep if I could just do it at the self checkout and she assured me it was perfectly ok and showed me which bar code to scan. Got charged for it, went home and the card wouldn’t work. Contacted the card company and they said the issue is that the store hasn’t activated the card yet. I live in Vaughan the last thing I needed is a rep giving misinformation and making me come all the way back the Newmarket to deal with the card. What would be even worse is if it wasn’t for my daughter and someone else. I contacted customer service and when i said to her you guys should make a note to train your reps to let the customer know they’re not good to go they still need to activate it or to go to a regular teller to purchase it, the rep on the phone said to me it’s basically that it’s the customers problem, they need to read the fine print on the receipt that indicates the card is activated. Not acknowledging the mistake on the part of the store or assurance this will be addressed. Terrible customer service and waste of time!

I had the pleasure of dealing with the manager on duty on Sunday March 21,2021. This was regarding a gift card that was purchased at the Newmarket location in December for a Christmas gift. Loaded $40.00 onto the gift card.and the person that received this gift card as a gift.didn't get the card until mid February 2021. (because of Covid.we didn't celebrate Christmas with the family). Only to find out there is a ZERO balance. So I called the number on the back of the gift card and I was then directed to the store where it was purchased. Somehow the card was redeemed at the dufferin and steeles location.so it is obviously a fraud. The manager did not do a thing for me. Not only that! He was exceptionally rude! Didn't show any interest in my problem. He told me that I would not be getting my money back.and actually laughed under his breath. He said it was not his store's problem.and he referred me to the store where it was redeemed. I contacted the Dufferin and Steeles location.and the manager there said that it is the responsibility of the store where it was purchased. So I called back the Newmarket location and spoke with the manager again there and he did nothing to help me. He continued to talk over me and insisted that I report it at the nearest police station. He did not apologize.had no manners and I'm quite upset! What is the policy with gift cards? It's only $40.00.but now I have a point to prove! I will be going over his head to make a point! Someone of his mentality should NOT be manager of any business!

It's a grocery store, as long as they are masked and protected by plexiglass then all is good. It's up to the customer to protect themselves from other customers!

Their online ordering/curbside delivery is a disaster. Missing items, 50 minute wait time, random substitutions (replace brussel sprouts w/ solo cups). I will no longer shop here.

We do the online ordering most times it is good and if there are any issues the make up for it. Most of the kids who drop off the groceries in our van are sweethearts. With services like these I can see it helping the older people immensely and perhaps helping to keep them in their homes longer. Great for the disabled like me. A full shop would take me 3 hrs to get around and 2 days to recover. Thanks to all

The produce on display is often bruised or mouldy. The selection we bring home contains samples that go bad before the end of the week.

All goods are in order and accessible, and there price match is guarantee with most stores, so you don't need to run to somewhere else.

Long time Superstore customer, but utterly disappointed by the price matching and customer service attitude. It was Mar 3 at 6: 45pm, there was 3 isles open, we went to the middle isle and was dealing with a young employee. We tried to price match the Huggies Swaddler 124 pack from Loblaws for $40 for 2 package. On the Loblaws/Zerhys flyer it said it was on the "super big" pack, and the 124 pack is the biggest that the Real superstore has it in stock. The employee told us at first they can't price match it because it's on the SMALL pack only. And then we zoomed into the flyer on our phone and showed her it said it's the "super big" pack which is the 124 pack. And then she said that wasn't included either. So what can we price match? And then she specifically said, "we were told that we cannot price match that particular item". We have done this price match combo many times before. This is the first time they deny our price match, with rude attitude. No apologies, no empathy, while carrying a newborn. Thanks Superstore, you just lost a customer.

This happened during the NO TAX flyer last week. You need to follow up & up until they bring the STOCK, then you have to pay tax, as they do not extend the flyer's terms/promotions.

Something wrong with the PC system. You are supposed to order and then go there to pick up.
I ordered 3 chairs to pick. You wait for an email to notify you to pick. Instead they send you cancelation!
This happened twice in 10 days for same items.
They let you order and then they choke you without warning. If the items are out of stock, do not let people complete their orders. Very disappointed, very surprised that Super store does Mini mistakes!

Very expensive and cashier was not very attentive and I said I had my points card ready she ignored me and now I lost my points and she had no smile or tried to help me get my points very dissappointed in this store will not be back.

I placed a pick up order with this location on Dec 22 at 5: 30am for the items I need for Christmas dinner. The available time slot that I booked was for 3-4pm today. This morning I received an email saying my order was delayed. Fine. I called and was told I would still be able to pick up my order today, just an hour later than expected. Okay, fair enough, it is Christmas Eve after all. I then received my email saying my order would be ready to be picked up between 3-4pm, which was the original time I had booked. I then looked further at this email only to find that the turkey I selected was unavailable and no substitutions were available. I then called, again, to find out what was going on. The woman on the phone was incredibly rude and her answer as to why an order I placed more than 48 hours ago couldn’t be filled, was that lots of people went to the store and bought all the turkeys today. I tried to explain to her how it’s bad practice to not ensure items are placed on hold for people who order ahead of time and she talked over me the whole time and was “pleasant” enough to let me know that I’m going to have a hard time finding a turkey in the middle of the afternoon on Christmas Eve now that they’re totally sold out. I will never spend another penny at this store, or any of the stores under this company’s umbrella. I’m totally appalled at the substandard service I received today and won’t ever set myself up for an experience like that again.

Disappointed with the customer service and the way my wife and 7 year old daughter was treated at this store. Debbie - #414 accused my wife and daughter of theft. She left the store as if this employee was racially motivated for this treatment.

I understand that this employee or experience might not be truly representative of the good employees that are likely at this store. But when she comes home literally steaming from the experience (including a 25 minute drive home which did not cool her down), I can't recommend this location and won't be returning.

First time for me real Canadian superstore. I found nothing attractive to go and shop again there. They sell the same product at a higher price than other competitors.

I placed an order on-line for pick up and it was great! I received exactly what I ordered, aside from 1 specific item that they didn't have.and they called my to let me know, and ask if I wanted to substitute it! Great service. Fresh produce. Great selection. If my husband could give 1 star he would because this means that from now on, I'm placing on-line orders for him to pick up and put away!

Love coming here. There are always items on sale.
Occasionally some are missing and it’s like in Walmart what you see is what you get If it is not in the shelf then we don’t have it. Not the hottest item mind you. I’m sure they’d have extra eggs or veggies in the fridge.

Went in to get something fast for lunch just had been to the doctor office. Got chicken wings and wedges chicken wings LOL they are more like pidgeon wings, really so tiny smaller than my thumb, wedges stone cold, went upstairs tables filthy napkin holders ALL empty. Really if that is what the customer can see and taste what is behind the scenes like. I would prefer to give your store a 0

Horrible food selection. How does a store this big not carry basic items like sundried tomatoes or rice noodles?

Laid out horribly, it takes forever to find what you are looking for.

If its not in a box or made by pc you're unlikely to find it here.

This place is nice, clean, beautiful and has virtually everything you would need however I find it to be a little expensive and thus only go when I have to. I have to say that its similarly priced to Walmart but way better in so many ways. For one you don't have to line up for an hour to pay like in the Walmart.

Plenty of parking spot, not too busy, the prices are reasonable, variety of products and foods, You can find a good collection of toys with a reasonable prices, beers are available but you must have an ID, In vicinity of the main entrance you can buy lottos and tobaccos

It is a very large Superstore in East Gwillimbury. They have a drive through pharmacy, a huge wine and beer selection, a large Joe Fresh Dept and all the regular departments we have all grown to know. Their products are well stocked, and they offer fresh produce, and when I was there during the day on Tuesday they had enough cashiers that we were only lined up a few minutes before it was our return. I gave this store 4 stars instead of 5 because you need to dig out a loonie to unlock a grocery cart. I expect that in their low end grocery stores but not at a Superstore. Loblaw stores include Loblaws, Zehrs, Your Independent Grocer, Provigo, Atlantic Superstore, Fortinos, Independent City Market, Valu-mart, ARZ Bakery, Wholesale Club, T&T Supermarket, Real Canadian Liquorstore, Real Canadian Superstore, No Frills, Maxi, Extra Foods and Shoppers Drug Mart.

Last night I went to the bakery department, arriving at the counter just before 9pm. I wanted to purchase a cake but there was no on behind the counter. I waited for a while but no one came. I then asked a store employee behind the deli counter if they could call someone he came over and said I think they are closed. I asked him to call a manager. At 9: 09 an assistant manager came out and said I couldn’t get a cake as the bakery closed at 9. He said he couldn’t sell me a cake as no one in the store knew how to print off a label and without that they couldn’t ring it in at the cash. I asked if he could just tell the cashier the price and he said no. Then walked away. Totally ridiculous.

You always need a loonie to be able to use the shopping carts which is really inconvenient. I don't know really how much you save but the branch in Aroura managed to do it. And the the vegetable section is not really fresh.

We always buy grocery and bakery product from real Canadian superstore and we love the way it is organized and how clean the place is. Kudos to the store manager and the staff helping in keeping the welcoming and tidy up.

Great selection of fresh and frozen food. Lots of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. Joe Fresh clothing has great choice for men, women and kids. Pharmacy is well stocked. Housewares pricing is comptetive. Pet care and food choices are good too. Lots of parking. Garden centre. Gym on second level! And for those looking for a one stop shop beer and wine, chilled and on shelf. Staff could use a little customer service training, otherwise excellent.

Pathetic excuse for a store. Loblaws has dropped the ball on this location. Empty slots are the norm here. Produce that is to old to eat or no selection at all. Red peppers that are still green. Sadly I have tried to give back since I had been a regular customer since 2004 but it's now a dive. And now to boot they get rid of the coffee selection and push McDonald's, Tim Horton's and Van Houte. Kick backs gallor is what's happening.
