Real Canadian Superstore

Went in yesterday to the customer service desk to do an exchange. Was served by 'Jamila' (or something like that). She said she was told in the morning that she cannot do exchanges at the customer service desk anymore. Having shopped there for 5 years, I had never heard that before so I asked her why would a customer service desk not do exchanges. She became rude and insisted that she will not do an exchange. Confused, I asked again when did that come into effect that they would not do exchanges at this store anymore. She rudely said because I was insisting that she does an exchange then she would. I said to her I was not insistent but it is the duty of the customer service desk to do an exchange. I asked to speak to the store manager Gabriel but was told he was in a meeting so spoke to customer service manager Deena who said she would deal with it, but I don't know if she did and how she did. Jamila's position needs to be reconsidered if she is unwilling to carry out the duties that she was hired to do. Disgusting customer service from her. Never in 5 years have I heard such nonsense.

Great location, wonderful selection of products from homeware, to stationary & a variety of food brands that you can't get anywhere else, especially at the prices here. Clean.

AWESOME PLACE TO SHOP FOR BASIC GROCERIES TO EVEN FOR SOME TOYS! NOW I WOULD PERSONALLY PREFER WALMART OVER THIS STORE, BECAUSE IT HAS MORE VARIETY OF TOYS, AND REAL CANADIAN SUPERSTORE DOESN'T HAVE RC CARS, AS FAR AS I CAN REMEMBER. BUT STILL, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IF YOU WANNA BUY GROCERIES! JUST KNOW, WALMART IS DEFINITELY CHEAPER THAN REAL CANADIAN SUPERSTORE!

I would like to commend Mo who helped with me with great customer service. I had a rain check for 4 bags of New Treasure parboiled rice which was expiring on August 25,2023, however when I checked the shelves at this location on August 15,2023, there were only long grain white rice by New Treasure. So I suggested if Mo can ask the Store Manager to substitute these bags with another brand. Right away Mo called his Manager who said I could substitute provided the other brand was at the same price or lower. I checked the shelves again and found another brand, Mr. Goudas, parboiled rice which complied with the Manager's recommendation. Mo helped me with substituted brand. Thank you Mo!

Huge location. Lots of parking. Very popular for online order and pick up. It is very busy here, so recommend coming not during peak hours, when it's very difficult to physically distance from others.

Poor customer service. Just touched a full shopping cart full of food only for them to end up putting it back on the shelves. Attended the store for over an hour and a half and filled my cart with groceries. Got some lobster and steak and stuff for the family new years dinner.

Went back to the front of the store where the lineup began and waiting for 30 mins. When I got to the front of the lind I realized that it's self checkout. So I went to lane number one as she was just finishing with a customer. Another lady starts yelling at me saying you cannot go there go to the back of the line. I explained that I did wait in line and didn't know there were two lines. She didn't care. I tried to explain again and she refused service. I said would you rather leave this here only for you to put it back and lose a customer? She said it's not her problem. So I left.

Never again. I'll go shop at food basics or somewhere else that's not going to treat me that way.

Close to my Place. Superstore is my favrt grocery store. When I came in Canada first I stay in Courtenay Vancuover BC. I used to go that Superstore then I moved to Brampton I started doing grocery from Superstore Steeles Brampton. Now Im living in Mississauga from 2020 and going to this location. Love you Superstore.

A truly great store with truly good prices. If you've never been to one of these stores you need to try it. No "supply" issues here.

Produce bags are so flimsy my fruit fell to the floor, the produce was in bad shape.
The store is nice and clean, large, spacious and set up okay.

This location is exactly what you think it would be this superstore has everything you would need on a day-to-day basis including a Joe Fresh, The Mobile Store, and Wine Shop.

Very rude associates. I asked one girl for something which I couldn’t find and she rolled her eyes at me. Then very rudely tell me the aisle number which was wrong. I found that thing on another aisle.

The problem with this store, although it’s has an excellent assortment of products; is that when they run flyers & promotions; the out of stock level on those advertised products are way way high. This leaves a bad taste with customers’ experiences. Today I came to buy Heiwa Calrose Rice 6.8kg where they have the price on special for 11.88 and today is the first day of the promotion and I came here very early. Yet the shelf is empty and when I asked the person that works in the Aisle, his reply “we are in the Middle of a a Renovation. We have limited supplies and I don’t know if it will come”. This is a reply to a customer. You seriously have a problem Loblaws. Get your act together. Out of stock & bad manners. Last time for me in this store.

Ever since moving to Mississauga I've been on the lookout for a grocery store my wife and I could call home and this is it. Where to start.the parking is very spacious with multiple entrances which is fantastic. The grocery store is big with a wide variety of selection that is well stocked and it's kept very clean and well organized. I've used the washrooms upstairs on numerous occasions and it's always clean! Thank you! All the cashiers I've encounter were all super friendly, quick and efficient! I've never had a bad experience. If I knew all their names I would thank them here. The customer service desk is also top notch as they always helped us with certain return items etc. Even during covid they managed the store well inside and outside with the entrance lineups and cashier lineups.

The parking lot is big, but always busy. A new shoppers was just built beside the store so that adds some convenience. Store itself has all the typical things you would want. Also had a small international section. Lines were not bad for checkout either. But there was no hand sanitizer when entering or leaving. And nothing to clean the grocery carts with.

Went to pick up a few items, albeit at around 4: 30. I shopped for 15 minutes, and waited in line to check out for over an hour. Most of the checkouts were unstaffed. Whenever a question was asked to staff, they responded that they never fully staffed on weekdays. Spoke to a manager after a staff member told me this was the norm, and the manager lied and said it was because of staff no shows. I will not support a location that literally does not care about shoppers time!

Apparently this chain of stores is not a true chain. Something was bought for me from the Weston Road location with a gift receipt. I visited this store to return the item and obtain store credit; they won't accept my return because all the superstores are not the same and the item has to be returned only to the original purchase store.on weston road.
Absolute waste of my time and gas. Do not recommend any major purchases through this retailer as the return/ exchange policy is ridiculous.

Probably one of the cleanest grocery stores in the area, particularly East of Mavis.

Good selection for food, produce. Has a joe fresh for clothing, dry cleaners, wine store, optometrist. A little pricey for budget shoppers like myself but good for the odd bit of grocery item you run out of.

They have big isles so we are distancing. Can find everything I'm looking for and if shelf empty they go in back to get more.

Probably the smallest superstore around, but that's still pretty big. Little disorganized compared to the others, but produce quality was decent. If you're in the area, might as well go to freshco and save a few bucks.

Average neighborhood grocery. Poorly managed. Long lines at the checkouts are pretty normal. Many shelves are poorly organized and maintained. The veggie section is often unclean. I try to avoid this store if I can.

Well maintained and organised. A plenty of stock of food. Fresh fruits and vegetables on competitive prices. Staff is professional and friendly. I would recommend this store.

Friendly staff and very helpful, at least from my experience on several occasions. Whenever an item is low or not in sight, the staff would be attentive in going to the back to check or requesting someone to look further. I’ve been to many other retailers whose standard answer is always “sorry, if the shelf doesn’t stock it, that’s all there is. ”

Cashiers are quick and efficient

The store does not want to serve the customers. Does not provide even directions to departments willfully. However, has a variety of products and are very clean.

I live down the street and you'd think the convenience is awesome. So UNTRUE. You won't ever find organic while milk in stock at this location. Like NEVER EVER EVER.there's just no dependability on this store. I'd rather drive to Walmart 15mins where atleast I'm assured I'll find everything I need under one roof.

Online system used to purchase always has issues. 50 % of the time the order is significantly incorrect to the point where I have to return to the store or go to another store which defeats the purpose of using this system at all. I refuse the 25 dollar gift cards because I would rather the problem be corrected and the annoyance far surpasses a 25 dollar gift card to your store.

Replaced with items 10x more expensive. (And not similar) When you arrive they are so busy you can’t even get a hold of them on the phone. Once you do, you’ve been waiting 20 minutes. After that I waited another 30 minutes for the order to come out.

Carts have to be disinfected by customers meanwhile, superstore employee on the door is using mobile phone.
Most of customers do not wipe carts.
I understand that employees might not have decent wages but this is crucial step to fight Covid-19 virus.
Also noticed high prices and often lower quality produce.

This review is only about Mavis/Dundas location in Mississauga.
Although I absolutely like all the Lablow group of stores, however this particular location is very disappointing. There is always something on your list that they either don’t have or shelves are not restock. Their bakery and cake section is ridiculously simple. Last Saturday they had nothing but chocolate flavoured cakes!
This store is nothing like other locations i.e. Argentina or Trafalgar. What a shame for such a high demand area.

I've read through alot of the bad reviews to see if anyone had the same experience/problem. But I feel like people do not appreciate the employees working making sure they're able to shop. I found the customer service great, any of the employees I ask where to find something they help me find it, but if they didn't know, they did they're best to find out from they're co workers. But the only issue I had was there was a bunch of things out of stock. But my overall review is:

Customer service: 10/10

Items in stock: 6/10

Cleanness: 9/10

Online ordered, received confirmation call I guess due to substitution of one product and picked up. Overall good service

I visit this store on a weekly basis. They’re always well stocked and have everything I usually need. They did stop selling one product that I really liked but I understand that it’s most likely a demand and supply thing. Queues are usually not long even on weekends. Parking is adequate and the store is well kept, neat and organized. Associates seem pleasant and cheerful although it’s always disappointing that they forget to ask for your PC optimum card. Overall I’m satisfied with my shopping experience here.

A bit crowded because the management likes to drop skids full of 'discount' stuff in the middle of the isles making it hard for people to maneuver around

Old Loblaws, now called Real Canadian Superstore. Fresh food, pre-made meals, Joe Fresh line of clothing. Lots of selection but a little expensive.

I Just love this superstore. They are getting better with their diverse grocery offerings (could still be better) but they provide a wonderful, clean and pleasant shopping experience

Good food good selection! Had suahi there for lunch! It was actualy real good! I was wrking near by and stopped for lunch! Looks like a good clean store! The line ups were big though! Lots of self check out and i try not to use those! Takes peoples jobs! Il wait in line! I hope they get rid of self check outs one day! If they gave me 15 percent off id probably use them but they dont ao il use a clerk to help keep there job

Large store with sizeable Joe Fresh and housewares sections. Prices more reasonable than other options in the area. They require a loonie deposit to use shopping carts which creates a mildly irritating experience at the start of your shopping if you don’t have a coin on hand.

Great location, well organized good food product. Had some great deals as shown in the flyer. Store is very clean, staff very helpful.

Clean store with fresh produce and products. Wishing more organic grass fed dairy, chicken and meat products including halal and lectins free bakery with reasonable prices.

Strategically located large store with wide variety of products from fresh fruits and vegetables to bread and pre made meals. Very clean and well organised and friendly staff. There are many other facilities in the same store premises like women Gym and dry cleaning. The line can sometimes be long despite Many self check out counters. They should open more counters specially on weekends.

My go to place for groceries, produces, dairy and other household products. Best is price match for unlimited items. They do price match for almost all the known store around the area. Customer service is good. On weekends all the checkout lanes are open.

Great store for just about anything. PC Optimum is a bonus here, because they have in store deals all the time!

I am always impressed by their FRESH vegetables. Secondly u earn PC points by using PC card at superstore. Always found it spic and spane. And Love JOE FRESH. One more thing i ld like to me tion that superstore always accept price match or either u using flipp app to get deals.

The location of Mavis does not carry everything that on flyer. Store is neat and clean and staf is cooperative. No issues for parking.
