My favourite store to shop and save money. Always fresh and good for international grocery.

I am pretty embarrassed to write this review but I have to. As a whole, it seems like the entire Loblaws chain does not care about customers in the slightest and only cares about exploiting consumers to make as much money as possible. I worked at this store in 2011 and there were over 20 cash registers, now there are 10 of them, and the space that occupied the 10+ that were removed is now replaced with more merchandise. There are barely any cashiers ever working, even at peak times where the store is very busy. There are always 4-5 cashiers working at most and this makes the lines & wait times ridiculously long, even when the store is not even that busy. This has been going on for years, which is insane considering how expensive the food is getting.

During COVID, most large stores closed their second entrances; however every chain that did this re-opened their second entrances after the pandemic ended. The Loblaws chain is the only chain that did not re-open their second entrance. Superstore specifically is a massive store and it is extremely inconvenient not having two entrances. The parking lot is also massive, which would inconvenience those who do not get the chance to park near the one entrance on busy days. People are elderly; people have young children & disabilities, however this chain does not have a care in the world for the people that are quite literally lining their pockets.

Day by day the prices get more & more ridiculous to top everything off. I used to love this store, it does have great selection, however it is getting painfully clear that this company would watch the world burn just to make as much money as possible. They do not care at all about other humans & it is way too obvious.

This used to be a great store. Went in yesterday to pick up a few things. Made it up to the cash and only a couple were open with lengthy line-ups. Another line-up nearly to the back of the store for self checkout. Waited for 20 minutes as I really needed the items but the line still wasn’t moving. One poor employee was running around like crazy trying to help all the self-checkout customers. I gave up and dumped all my items into the cart where everyone else had given up and done the same, and walked out. Never again.

With the record high profits these companies are making gouging people on food, it’s time to pay staff a decent wage, and offer some benefits. Maybe then you’ll be able to hire and retain staff.

Don’t bother with the customer service number and canned apology. People have been posting the same thing for a year and you haven’t improved a thing it seems.

Other then only one entrance now as a person with walking issues, the store big stocked and clean.

You shall find lots of food grocery and produce besides other things like drinks cookies and such in one place also other services like pharmacy.

Amazing selections, great customer service. Too bad they don't have a superstore in the south end. We need one in South keys or Findlay Creek, please!

My go to store for good quality groceries and good sales, especially their no tax days, if you go on weekend evenings be prepared to have lots of items not stocked, it seems they may be low on staff to restock throughout the day.

I love this place. It is so big, and has so much variety. Definitely the best grocery store in the area. If you're looking for international food selection, this is your best bet in Orleans.

Hugely frustrating place to shop for. Lines are extremely long at cashes.but has a large selection of items and reasonable prices on some daily items making worth a monthly drive out to it for grocery & snack needs

Great product selection. Their produce is great overall. What I really love about Superstore is that they sell the not so pretty bags of fruits and veggies, such as lemons that aren't perfectly yellow or carrots that may be broken or misshapen. Rather than a farmer wasting these perishables, they can still make money and some ppl can still afford to buy healthy food.

Very rude people work there treated me very embarrassing thank you to the manager who did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation

Been shopping weekly at SuperStore on Innes for over 7 years now. Over the course of the last few months, the quality of the produce decreased considerably. Again this weekend, turned my cart around and walked out empty handed, after taking a look at the fruits and vegetables. The Management Team seems to be focussing their efforts on hiring more staff, as opposed to sourcing quality produce. I no longer recommend.

Nice large location with huge variety of merchandise and foods. I was particularly impressed with the variety of beers they carried. The merchandise was neatly stocked and the store was clean and well organized.

Go inside the massive grocery store, that carries any item you can pretty much imagine!
Bakery department, seafood department, meat department, various items from around the world!
Very helpful and friendly staff, clean atmosphere.

Follows good guidelines for COVID. It’s a store I trust to be safe and sufficient for my needs. I often only go to the Superstore for my weekly grocery shopping.

I have been doing PC Express orders almost entirely throughout the pandemic and will probably continue as I love the time saving aspect. Is it perfect? No but I send a messages with any concerns.

They have a wonderful natural foods selection, the best I have ever seen in a large box store. Amazing variety, alot of vegan, organic, whole foods options. The prices are a little high, but it's worth it considering the variety they have, it's like a one stop shop for specialty vegan products. The natural food section is also very nicely organized, always stocked.

Great price on the salmon but, every other fish place I buy fish from descales their fish before they sell it skin on. What a disappointing, hidden surprise.
Plus, just so you know. That photo radar on Innes is a commerce blocker. I avoid most anything down that way and I would estimate I have spent thousands just avoiding doing any commerce past Trim. I live in Cumberland and have decided more often than not to travel to Rockland for supplies all because of that radar. Thought you should know because I would qualify your store the largest loser of my coin. I wonder how many others like me there are.

The store usually has what you need like any big massive name store. Good sales too. However, staff are rarely interested in helping. The usual line is "that's not my department" even if they are stocking shelves in that aisle. And forget trying to get someone to look in the back. They'll happily point you to where the item should be though.

This store is consistently out of pretty standard items. I'm always having to go to another store to find what I need - usually about 10% of my grocery list.

Big store with safety precautions, wide Variety of products even the international section, amazing. Don't forget the Price Match availability. Must visit.

The produce a meat department are usually a big mess with a lot of stuff empty they need more staff to restock things and keep things clean and tidy

It's my favourite shopping store BUT the person monitoring the cheese section is not doing a good job. I shop here every Friday and it's a must for me to buy the BLACK DIAMOND MARBLE CHEESE CUBES.it is always EXPIRED.even if there is one that still has a valid date, which will usually be hidden behind, the expired cheese is conspicuously displayed in front. I am just leaving today again and all the cheese in question on the shelf is expired. I have been nice to talk to a couple of staffs at check out to give feed back to the store manager for proper monitoring of that section but I can see no one is listening because if anyone had listened, expired cheese will not be displayed on the shelf for the public to consume. So that is why I have decided to give this review, probably there would a change. Please note I am shopping next week March 5, if I still find expired black diamond marble cheese on the shelf then I will have no choice than to post the picture. I hope to see a change. I STILL LOVE SHOPPING HERE. Thank you

Wide variety of goods including ethnic produce and ingredients. Needs to have more cashiers on during the week

Don’t come here if you are in a hurry. You might have to wait in line for half an hour. Extremely understaffed.

Clean and quick at the cash. Sadly this the first year I could not bring my kids to show your decorations for Chinese New Year. Took a pic to show them, instead.

This is a great place to shop. A nice and clean environment with helpful friendly staff. Good sales and price matching, optimum points also.

First time shopping here and first time out with my
Newborn. Baby was crying as we were about to check out and I didn’t realize the huge line of customers waiting to the left. I almost had to leave my cart full of groceries behind and bring baby home when a customer runs over to me and says “come with me, someone is going to ring you through”. Geeta had offered to cash me out after hearing my little one wailing. Her kindness made my day, excellent customer service! Thank you Geeta, I will be shopping here for all of my groceries from now on!

I am buying now and never again.
4 workers work and us are over 50 in 2 lines.
Half an hour waiting until now and maybe 20 min left so I can buy 3 items.

This is one of the only grocery store without proper covid 19 directional arrow making your shopping experience very unpleasant

Always has everything I need. 1 stop shop! Line for cashier is very quick even with the long line.

With our choice of retailers having dwindled due to Covid. I've noticed superstore will still price match and still seems to honor the scanning code of practice. Keep this in mind as Walmart stopped honoring price matches as their competition dwindled seeing as how people don't and shouldn't hit multiple stores to save money during the pandemic. I feel that's BS and underhanded. Others stopped honoring scanning code and I've noticed the error rate for pricing increase dramatically. But superstore seems to have avoided these tactics. So good for them.

Best Loblaws in the city. I drive clear across town to shop at this Orleans location. Great selection of good and the best prices in any Ottawa Loblaws locations.

The checkout system they have in place has patrons waiting way too long to check out their items. My cashier never offered bags (and I didn’t have recyclable ones with me) and just kind of threw my stuff down the conveyor and wanted me out of there ASAP.

I always find what i need in that store, 1 store, 1 stop. Don't be in hurry checking out can be long, bring some water

I felt very unsafe in this store. No COVID 19 social distancing In place (arrows etc), no offer of hand sanitizer, I noticed an employee with mask only covering mouth not nose, employees didn’t help bag groceries ($400) and were very rude. Why is this so hard for this grocery store in particular?

They need more Staffing always lineups you have to pack your own things not something I like to do I do not work there would I recommend it?

Best grocery store In Ottawa. By far. Price and stock wise it is worth the gas going there from downtown.

The cashiers are not doing their jobs properly they should start packing,
why ur customer should do the packing?

Did not have what I was shopping for.l find that this store, always short on something, I then have to go to a second store.

This is the store I go for grocery at least 2 days in a week. The store is clean and you can find lots of choices. The price is reasonable and even you can price match with other store’s price. They closed community room and rest area for now due to pandemic.
