Real GTA Movers

So on August 5th, i hired my supposedly friend King who i lived in the same building for years. We met up and shook hands at 169/hr instead of 189/hr. I also asked him to see me for 5 min when he gets home for 4 days prior to the move and he never made time for me, the reason being i had 0% experience on moving. So 4 days prior to moving i brought most of my small items to my new condo and i did around 50 to 60 trips with things in my hand. On the day of moving King, came to my place at 10am and said sign the contract, trusting this man bevcause he was my friend and at the time game me no indication of not trusting him i signed. So i had a 1 bedroom and i needed my bed, my dresser, my love couch and TV moved. Their were other things but small. It took him 2 hours and 46 min to load the truck and at one point i could not find him for 40 min. Then we went to the new condo and my time was 11am to 1pm and we got there at 1pm because its a 5 min drive from my old condo to my new condo. So i managed to get 20 to 30 min of their time it ended up being 2h and 30 min and the movers and owner of the booking at 1pm started yelling and arguing with King from what King told me so i went down and promised the job will b done in 10 min which it was and i gave the driver $100 for his time because i felt bad. What i did find out later was King never had argument with the 2 gentleman, the woman who was sitting in King's truck was having the argument. So then i was told from King that the bill was $1315.00 and i was what? He said yes i wouldn't lie to u so i paid the lady, his assistant cash. He gave me no receipt and i didn't see a receipt until 2 hours later where i then see that King lied to me, first of all charged me 189/hr not 169 like he promised when he looked in my eyes and shook my hand. Also charge me credit card fee when i paid cash. Also charged me 1 hour driving when it was a 5 min drive. Then the worse thing of all i noticed he damaged my bed and broke with a direct hit my 55 inch 4k TV. King responded and i have the text to prove that the reason the damages happened was because King says that the man who was angry was with his dog hiding in the truck and they damaged it, which i later saw that man and confronted him and showed the text and he laughed and said i will testify for u that he is lying. So king has not responded to me since i brought this all up immediately after the job was done. It is now 11 days later and i have attempted to contact him through calls and texts and he's not responding. Keep in mind this was my friend, who always hugged me and complimented my car and now he acts like he doesn't know me. I have all the proof, photos, texts also 2 female witnesses and also the driver and owner of the movers who had the booking of the elevator. I am so disappointed in this service and disgusted by the actions of this man and company. Please do not hire him, if anyone wants to see proof i can provide it of what he did. Also read your contract before you sign. His number 1 paragraph in the contract states that he is not responsible for any damages. He didn't even cover anything especially the TV. What moving company is not responsible for any damages. This man cheated me, lied to me and worse of all hasn't manned up to take a call and work it out. And i was his friend. Kings text message to me: : "I told you the guy was fighting with us. He hid over the drawers with his dog because he was upset. You can't move with so much chaos. We will talk tomorrow". And King never called.

King and his team are amazing to work with, we had a miscommunication with the address late in the evening and they still came through to get our moving done, great group of guys

I can wholeheartedly say that the owner (King) is an honest man running and honest business. He actually cares about his customers and works hard daily to solve their all moving problems - from start to finish! Excellent Job Guys!

Real GTA Movers were recommended to me and so grateful I used them. King was very professional, on time, and his crew took great care of my belongings. The move was handled very efficiently. He pointed out a potential issue with my upcoming renovations, so grateful he mentioned it. During my major renovation an unexpected plumbing issue threw a major hurdle in my plans. I needed a mover to move more things out of my house - quick. I immediately called King. I knew I would be in good hands. Again, King and his crew were on time, efficient, and worked around my ongoing renovations. Will definitely use Real GTA movers again if I need a mover.

I'm surprised how many 5 star reviews this company has. The reviews are either 5 stars or 1 star. Do you really think these guys are sometimes amazing and sometimes just terrible? They just have fake reviews!

I tipped these guys because they demanded it even though they didn't even finish moving for us (what kind of movers stop halfway?). I'd take you all to small claims court, but I'll leave it at a bad review.
