On Tuesday December 26th my 18 year old son and his girlfriend, she’s 17 years old were missing all night until around 4am. I later find out they were partying at this venue. Yes, they are teenagers but this was quite unusual for them. My first question was how did they get in to a 19+ venue, my son responded with the security was not checking anyone’s Id and just letting everyone in. How on earth do people not get their ids checked while entering an establishment that serves liquor? Where is the management in this place?

We were attending the new year’s party here for the first time. The venue an atmosphere a decor was amazing. Bartenders were quick with our shots and drinks. Music and dj was great. The only negative and why i’m giving this venue 1 star is the amount of under age people was astonishing. No ID’s were check which i’ve never seen before anywhere. People pushing and shoving their way through crowds which could cause trampling, no respect which i assumed was due to the underage crowd.

OMG. What an ambience. Great for partying, this experience is lit. No words to say, just wow. You will enjoy it for sure. Visited for tge Halloween party and it was a blast. Enjoyed the maximum with lots of fun. Lighting and the effects, sounds are extraordinary. Must visit.

Not a fan of the $20 bribe they’re trying to take at the door for men to get in. Didn’t pre-buy the tickets and it would have cost $45 per person. Crazy.

I went on Halloween Weekend. Weirdest atmosphere I've ever had for a club. A lot of underaged people. I previously bought my tickets online for 50$ for the Mortem event. Then, the security guards we're taking underaged kids and ask to pay 20$ to go in. I waited in line but it was too long and too cold outside. I'm supposed to get the first entrancesince i paid VIP (It was already 1 am LOL). Also, the guys outside asked if anybody wanted to pay extra for early entrees. It's the most sketchy club I've ever seen. Didn't want to enter because it was too weird & actually full of underaged kids. Never again.

People here look very dangerous, how come there arent any asians on friday? As a visible minority i demand diversity

Wow! What an incredible venue. Every single one of the staff we encountered- were absolutely wonderful. The bathrooms were clean- the bar staff were quick and so friendly. What a great first concert for my kid! Thanks for the great core memory

Also the view is breathtaking from the very comfortable patio, the lighting and sound system is phenomenal. I would definitely recommend this venue!

I attended an Ashnikko concert here alone. Security didn’t pat down when you go in they used the metal detector thingy. EMS was great they took care of two super drunk people right away. Overall great venue besides a bit too crowded. Totally fine to go alone there was a bunch of singles like me, if you want to sneak alcohol just have it in your pocket not in anything metal.

This one security guard (taller poc woman) was really great at her job, some girl got offended that I moved in front of her while everyone rushed to the bathroom after the show, so she hooked her leg in front of mine to trip me on purpose and I turned around pushed her (I know my bad, I was tipsy and got mad about the tripping). Security lady just came in between us right away and escorted me to the other bathroom, I thought I’d get thrown out. Also this same woman confiscated someone’s Jell-O shots in line to go in and they just kept it with the front to retrieve later they didn’t throw it out. So yeah thanks for de-escalating perfectly!

Went for a concert on July 12 and was so badly organized, we had so many different lines for no reason and some ppl who were there before everyone weren’t moving and was totally unfair. Heard that security took 20$ from someone and make them move up in the line. I didn’t see them selling any water inside the venue.

The front entrance security started off my night by scamming me $20 to entry because i was wearing a jean shorts up till my knee. Online says no athletic shorts, but clearly they just wanted money for themselves.

I honestly loved the ambience. But felt really unsafe. Guys were just walking right up to us and grabbing our arms and what not. There is no concept of consent here. I dint have a good experience with my friends. All four of us got groped and grinded! Security didn't seem to care at all. Fighting was pointless coz we were putting ourselves more at risk. So we just walked out of the dance floor and enjoyed the beauty outside. We will never go back though.

Pretty cool place for events and weekend nights! Came here for a friend’s wedding, which is a bit costly, but worth the memories! Right by the lake where you can get the best views of the city skyline! Definitely come visit Polson Pier if you’re visiting the city and get a snapshot of the beautiful city of Toronto from this secret spot!

The best club in Toronto ;Definitely one of my favourite clubs! Had an amazing experience on my birthday with friends & my first clubbing experience in Canada. Loved the performance on Friday and Saturday nights. Best place to party in the city, best service, music and people! It’s also an amazing venue for concerts, their lighting and stage setup is really cool

This club is awesome! Great setup, lighting and sound quality for live sows. Drove out to Toronto from Winnipeg with a friend for the Kesha show a few years back, had an absolute blast that night! Great view of the Toronto skyline from the parking lot too.:)

Went to this club for the first time. (Out of province guest). I have never been treated so well by the service staff. We had a booth with a bunch a good buddies. And had a server, I’m not sure of her name but I want to say it was Shannon. She was absolutely amazing. She made the experience that much better. We didn’t have to ask for anything, she knew what we wanted, when we wanted it. Totally made our rebel experience the best it could be. If you ever get a booth at rebel ask for Shannon, she is truly the best!

Rebel is truly one of the best clubs in Toronto! The vibe is great, music is fantastic and the employees who work there make it the best experience. The customer service that Alexa provided for my friends and I was outstanding. She’s so professional and if you are looking to book a booth in VIP, Alexa is your girl!

WARNING: this club is infamous for stolen phones. Got my phone stolen last weekend. For large concerts/events it’s clear that they oversell tickets. It was so packed that you couldn’t even move. People were getting rowdy/shoving each other. If there was a serious emergency you wouldn’t be able to get anyone out of there. On the plus side: the entry process was quick and well-run, as well as the coat check. Service was good, drinks were good, they take debit, and the free popcorn was a definite win. However, I would not come to this club again due to the overcrowding and thieves.

Went to Rebel this past Friday had Shannon Butterworth as my bottle girl. She made my night and made it so fun. She provided excellent service, I will be requesting her every time I go back.

I bought a ticket on the website and when I got there, the security told me that someone had used It! Their system may have a problem.

Absolutely beautiful venue. Came for the Micheal Kiwanuka concert and all the bar staff to the right facing the stage were very personable and friendly. Noticeably extremely good-looking staff too - props to the hiring team. I do recommend getting tickets on the balcony if you are shorter though. Crowd was more mature that night which was pleasant. Am coming back on Saturday to check out their nightclub night with my husband. Thank you.

I went there for the first time last Saturday and the chick that did my body check thought I had something in my bra and put her hand in it to search it. This is honestly ridiculous. Crowd and staff really ratchet.

Do not come here for concerts. Maybe it's a good club, but definitely not meant for rock shows and such. The stage it super low and if you're anywhere from 4'9 to 5'9, forget about any visibility after the first 4 meters from stage. It's a huge venue so they sell as many tickets as they can. It really doesn't matter where you try standing, you're most likely going to catch a glimpse for your money. Also the sound system and acoustics sound terrible.

As a nightclub I think this place lost its appeal. I’ve been here on a more business occasion for a gathering of a friends’ and that was great. Other than for the okay sound system and the visual effects they have inside, I wouldn’t have even given 1 star. Overpriced watered down drinks, a crowd mostly consisting of groups of ~what seems like freshly legal 19 y/o young men~ (not always, but most of the time) and there is constantly something sketchy going on during bigger/DJ events like a fight or security taking someone down or someone pulling a gun outside.

Shannon was amazing, I have been to many establishments in Toronto, however this is the first time I had a server who did everything right. The other people who came with me thought the same. Thank you Shannon for a great night.

Definitely the best venue for a party or a concert. Myself and my group enjoy every time we go. I strongly recommend booking through Alexa. She truly creates an amazing experience for us. Her customer service is above and beyond. Thank you Alexa!

I've had so many great times at rebel (and cabana) but the best was last saturday with my server shannon. She made the experience top notch. Excellent service

Rebel is a great venue, we always have a great time there especially when Shannon is our server. She is great, we will be back for sure.

1st attempt to visit this place, never made it in and will never bother trying. - Extremely long line ups & extremely rude security who don't have power in their daily life so they have to overexert what little authority they have. Never have I witnessed patrons be direspected in such a manor at any establishment. They went above and beyond what their job entails in a negative fashion, and being an ex club guard myself I am deeply ashamed. If the security guards at the bottle service line were less hostile towards one of my girl friends then maybe this review would have been positive. When you are a paying guest you should be treated with respect especially if you intent to spend over $1500.

Very annoyed. I called for information about booth and bottle packages for new years eve as their website is extremely vague. I got a call back which was great, but I told them I would call back if I decide to book. Since then I have been spammed with emails and phone calls. When we didn’t answer because we’re busy or simply don’t want to explain again that we will call if we decide to book, so they then resorted to call on a blocked number! (We have told them twice now and still receive calls) Absolutely ridiculous. I will not be going to this venue for the simple fact that I have been harassed by these calls like a telemarketer and can only imagine what my experience could very well be like at the venue. Change your tactics because you will lose customers by this!

**Phone stolen**
My phone was snatched while I was in this club last night. As soon as we got into the crowd, I felt something weird about these group of guys. 2 of them were just standing right behind us and the other 2 were in front of us dancing. As soon as we tried to leave the crowd, they started touching our assess and pulled my cross body bag off from my chest and directly snatched my phone right in front of my eyes. They immediately gone into separate ways. I tried to hold one of them and the guy pushed me. Security is no help at all. The guy told me that he did check the cameras but didn't see me in the crowd. I've already informed the police about this matter but if there's anyone else out there who are also victim of this group of males last night please speak up.
1st guy- male, skinny, 5'6, wearing a white polo shirt, pale skin.
2nd guy- male, medium size, 5', wearing a red/maroon shirt, brown.
3rd guys- male, skinny, 5'6, wearing all black, beard, dark skin, wearing black turban.
4th guy- male, medium size, 5'8, wearing all black, pale skin w/ mustache.
I know the descriptions of these men are vague, but anything is helpful at this moment.if anyone has information on this description please let me know!

The venue is beautiful but horrible as a concert venue.

Poor sound quality, often cannot hear the artist over the music even when I was right up front. If you're standing anywhere in the middle/ to the back there's no hope of being able to see the artist either.

They're always selling way too many tickets vs actual space. Crowds are rowdy and violent and security does nothing to control them. Had to move because someone puked all over the floor and no one cleaned it up over a span of 3 hours? ! Moved to the back only to have guys break out in a fist fight and security didn't remove them so I left early.

I booked online for revolution Saturday’s and still couldn’t get it in when I was trying to enquire from security about the timing. I got there right at 10 and was trying to enquire about the night since it says 10’oclock. They are just very rude and unapproachable. We been planning for this night for a month and when we got there security ruined our night. If you really wana go in just don’t say anything no matter how rude they are. It was definitely against my morals and I end up not going in. Great club but very weak people at the gate. They not gonna treat you right bunch of bully’s who are way up in there head.

Don’t go. Had my phone stolen right out of my back pocket on the dance floor and went to security to complain only to have been told that I was the hundredth person that night complaining about the same thing. They did nothing, absolutely nothing and as the night went on I started seeing so many cell phone cases and parts of phones littered across the floor. So yes there’s literally a gang of people that go there just to steal innocent revellers’ phones. Beware!

Went last night for Halloween and was finessed by the the ticket lady with the nappy hair. We got to skip the line since we were on a promoters guestlist so we were able to get tickets for reduced cover. We go up to the ticket booth and give her the 3 reduced cover tickets we had, she then proceeds to say we only gave her two tickets, we tell her we actually gave her 3 yet she refused to acknowledge it.fine whatever well just pay the regular cover fee. She then demandsto pay $40 cover when reality its only $25 kinda killed my vibe for the night and felt like I was supporting a shady establishment. Mind you we came around 10: 30pm and payed over $120 when reality we should of only payed $75.

Rebel is a big venue with flashy lights but my god is the service terrible.hey by the way whoever reviews the reviews, you may or may not know (i hope the former rather then the latter) but one of the two ticket ladies that works the guestlist ticket booth section on Wednesday October 31st blatantly scammed us.

Nothing like paying $20 cover to try and impress people you don't even know. Once saw a girl get punched out because one guy tried hitting another guy.but he missed. That should tell you everything you need to know about this blight on humanity.

My phone was stolen/lost this past weekend (Oct 26,2018), staff were extremely unhelpful and couldn't agree on whether a lost and found even exists in case someone found it and turned it in? Security guards also laughed in my face and yelled at my friend and I. I was told to call a number and send an email but haven't received a response for either. I found my cross-body purse open multiple times throughout the night on the main level. Theft is a regular occurrence here, the club atmosphere itself is really fun but be mindful of your valuables. I noticed my phone was gone two minutes after checking the time, around the coat check/club patio entrance area. I retraced my steps and didn't find it. I called it and it already went straight to voicemail (I had full battery).

This is the absolute worst club I have ever been to. Was there November 4th and had my wallet stolen from my purse.while being on the lower dance floor. Security was no help what so ever. My visa, which does not have tap was used at this club without my knowledge. Did no use any of my cards the entire night, so no one saw me put in my pin for this card. Employees from Rebel night club are allowing theft to occur. Security and coat check workers said this is a common occurrence for this club. Top management needs to fix this issue. Will be filing a police report.

Giving this place two stars because at least I made it out alive and didn’t have my phone stolen. Wish I could say the same about my friend. Her IPhone X AND wallet was STOLEN right out of her zipped purse! Glad I paid over 60 dollars to get in and tip the bouncer or I would have still been in line and the theifs would have stolen that money too! DO NOT GO unless you like paying big $$$ to stand in line, get your stuff stolen, and lose your friends because they have their phones stolen. They need to improve security cause obviously they have a stealing problem here! #blessedtogetout

We were there last night for Halloween. After staying inside for around 10 minutes, we came out for some fresh air. But then after the Security guy prevented us to going back inside. We showed him our tickets but the rude guy said he doesn't care. We weren't said that we can't go outside. He named himself Mike.
I have his picture. He shouted at me and my wife and pushed us badly. We spent more than $40 each and couldn't be there more than just 10 minutes. For sure that is lack of management. They didn't use any bracelets or hand stamps and didn't let people having ticket go in.
I want at least my money back.

They don’t let go inside again event if you bought 40 $ ticket and go out for a smoke! They also sold thousand tickets for halloween. Inside was like TTC!

Best halloween party hands down. Soooo many beautiful woman and staff were very helpful inside when I had a question. Bratenders can be a bit rude but to be fair it was halloween night and the club was packed! All around a great experience.

I was assaulted by a security gaurd in the “savage” latin room last night. I will be pressing charges. Very unprofessional, a employee tells you someone touched them and all of a sudden I am being thrown and punched for something I didnt do, that security gaurd is ignorant and I will be sure to sue this company!

We went to rebel on Sat Oct 26th 2018 and the experience was heightened by the esquisite service of Sir Dan at the bar. His grace and demenour was impeccable. The pouring of drinks in their designated cups displayed an array of motor skills yet to be witnessed in the bartending industry. Rebel is lucky to have Dan, for without Dan there is no rebel. We recommend him 10/10. We demand employee recognition. Dan if you are reading this thank you. Thank you for all that you do. We dont deserve you.
