Reco Shawarma

I work here and I love the food. My favourite is the chicken shawarma bowl, and the sauces are too flavourful. I love working with the people here providing great service.

We Ordered through Uber Eats (BOGO) in advance to save the time; food was packed and ready to go by the time we arrived at the Restaurant.

We got Shawarma Salad; High quality ingredients, tasty and very good price/portion. The shawarmas are seasoned and cooked perfectly, everything including all the sauces to the fresh toppings is made in house! Highly recommend!

By far the BEST shawarma joint, & I’ve tried a lot of places in the GTA. It’s the restaurant I kept going back to.
The portions are outstanding, costumer service was lovely and accommodating. Their shawarma and grilled skewers are very tender and packed with flavour which other restaurants lack.
It’s rare to come across a restaurant that reminds me of back-home in Egypt and Shawarma Papi nailed it!
The restaurant is clean, and a bonus is the music and TV entertainment.
Service is time-efficient and quick!

I thought the shawarma tasted good, but like many of the other reviews have said, it's super thin. I was still hungry after eating it. It needs more toppings, and definitely more chicken. I hope you take the reviews to heart and make some changes.

Came here late and they were almost closing up, instead of shooing me away they made me a fresh batch of chicken. Amazing customer service. I highly recommend to anyone local or visiting the city!

I got the chicken shawarma platter and it's one of the best shawarmas I have ever had. The seasoning on the chicken is really great and not the usual bland meat you get at most places. The rice was nice as well. The service was awesome too.

Food - 12/10, service 10/10

Edit: Got the taco special on Uber and would not recommend them as they are quite expensive for the quantity ($12 for one taco). Not sure if it's a mistake since every thing else we have got from here has been great.

Food is awesome! Staff is nice and welcoming. Great food for my family at least once a week!

Over priced and they charge extra if you want garlic sauce. The fries are not fully cooked or crunchy at all

The place was recommended to me by a friend and it held up to its name. These guys know their stuff:
- Good taste and portion quantity.
- Decently priced.
- Nice customer service.
- Specifically liked their Chicken Shawarma wrap and the garlic sauce.

Shoutout to Adel whom throughout had a smile on his face and some of his dance moves to what I recall as Egyptian music.

I hate leaving negative reviews at owner managed businesses but I hope this will help the new owners improve this place. This place use to be good prior to the new owners. Since then they have upped their price and the portions have gotten so much smaller. I got my chicken shawarma and was surprised at how insanely small the portions are. I also ordered a falafel wrap and they only gave 3 falafels. I hope management considers the negative reviews that have recently been posted here. If you expect to flourish in this business you need to be more generous with toppings. I don’t want to spend $14 after tax and tip and still be hungry after.

Was ok. There was definitely a nice amount of spice and it was piping hot but the dish lacked the subtle balance usually found it great shawarma and it had such an unusual texture, almost powder-like.

Best shawarma place in Burlington! Good portion sizes and great quality! The owner Mina really cares about his customers and remembers them!

So happy we stopped here on our way home, I haven’t had shawarma for almost a YEAR because I haven’t found anywhere good. Shawarma papi has got it going on! Perfect portion! Chicken tastes great! Rice was yummy and the Garlic sauce is tangy and perfect! Also they don’t overstuff their shawarma wraps like other places, which is a big no no for me.they really got it right here! The owner even came up to us to sample some of his baklava while they prepared our food which was DELICIOUS. We will for sure be back!: D

Love this place too much for anything less than 5 stars. Personally though I would prefer more sauce, be sure to order extra. 9 times out of 10 the chicken is perfectly cooked and the generous portion on the large chicken and rice is why I keep coming back. New management recently took over and its better than ever!

Had chicken shawarma fatoush salad tonight and it was one of the best I have ever had. The ingredients were fresh and the chicken tasted amazing. Loved all the sauces too. Will definitely be going back soon to try more of their menu

After the management change, the food has gone for a toss! Tried twice after the change but NEVER AGAIN! They just ruined the taste! What was the need to change the taste? ! If youre not sure what you're doing!

Every staff member provided amazing service and the owner Mina (hope I spelt your name correctly) was so kind and truly cares about the customers! The meal was incredible, the best food I’ve ever had ️ definitely recommending to my family and friends! Can’t wait to try other menu items!

Shawarma Papi has the best shawarma in Burlington. Fabulous food and amazing staff. The owner Mina is great, he helped us order the food we wanted and was so accommodating to make the food we would like the best. Will 100% be back very soon! Recommend everyone check it out!

This place used to be amazing. It was my staple. Clearly they for new owners and it turned awful.

They charge you extra for most of the toppings. I ordered a wrap and they offered everything and I said “yes everything” and was charged 3$ extra. That should never happen
