Red Lobster

I went for dinner with my family and I was very disappointed with our server named Barb, she was really rude. First of all, we order the endless shrimp menu, and when we finish our first round we ask our server for the menu (because we wanted it to know the other shrimp options) and she refused to give us the menu after asking for it twice, until the third time asking she brought it. At the end of the time we just finished our meals and we were just chatting and having a great time until our server brought us our bill (she didn’t even ask us if we were ready to pay/we didn’t ask the bill either) I ask her to bring separate bills for each member and she refused to do it. Basically she kicked us out of the restaurant when we wanted to hang out more.

Had a reservation, I was the first one to arrive and they wouldn't seat me because they wanted whole party to arrive. (Came in a snow storm to an empty restaurant, would've been nice to be seated instead of standing around). My sister had called and said they are 3 mins away and if they can seat me, the server who picked up said yes. The rude supervisor intervened and said no we can't seat you without whole party present. I simply asked why the policy was like this and if it's the same at every location.she responded very rudely with a lot of attitude and condescension (with a head nod and crossed her arms) "it just is I don't know. " If she didn't give me attitude for no reason I wouldn't of asked to speak to the manager. I asked her if she's a manager she said no she's a supervisor. We were seated (With menus annd table ready) and manager came to speak with us, he was kind and apologized but he wouldn't listen to what I had to say. Kept talking over me, didn't give me a chance to explain how I felt even when I asked to let me finish my thought. He mentioned the policy and why they don't seat people right away (because of the servers and how many tables they get - the restaurant was empty). I understood the policy but didn't appreciate the rude attitude from their front line supervisor when I travelled to eat at their restaurant. The supervisor and manager looked like they were related, which kind of made sense. Anyway don't go to the downtown location! Scarborough location has better service and food tastes better there too surprisingly. It's just a smaller restaurant!

My husband and I, each had the endless shrimp dinner option. The shrimp skewer was cold and absolutely flavorless. Butter garlic shrimp had no garlic flavor. Coconut shrimp had a weird sweet coating and the coconut mayo dip was horrid! (not everything with coconut has to be sweet! Please look to southern Indian/South East Asian cuisines for inspiration). Shrimp linguini in Alfredo sauce was passable but most people can make better at home. Also we ordered the extra (@extra cost) lobster topping for baked potato and all we got were 3 tiny miniscule pieces of lobster on the potato.
All in all below average food. Great LIITs though! Service was good too. But the food was not great and I don't feel tempted enough to go and try their a la carte offerings!

Had gone there for dinner. For the prices and the massive spread this place falls very short of expectations! Bland, flavourless seafood! Not going there again!

Our server Mia was truly wonderful to our large group birthday party. He was prompt, polite, hilarious and anticipated our needs before we even knew we had them! 6/5 stars for Mia and also the host who doesn’t eat seafood and made our non seafood eating friend feel super comfortable. AND she brought a biscuit with a candle in it for our friends bday. 10/10 will be back for more endless shrimps

Poor Service and even poorer when you look for allergy information. They aren't able to prepare a simple lobster without the use of gluten.

A Manger who didn't know how to manage. Yesterday 3 couple went for lunch, they wouldn't let one of us in because she only had a digital ID, no physical hard copy
We decided to go across to another high end restaurant, who were sensible enough to accept digital copy.

Great food great service very friendly people I do enjoy coming to Toronto for a nice Red Lobster meal I tried to come every so often when I am down this way highly recommended if you like seafood this is a place to come and eat

Food is very good but after some days the thing I really remember is another one.a very kind madam with over 30 years of work in the same company. I don’t know her name but loves her job like first one and is able to generate a top customer experience!

It was meh.everything i asked for they did not have.king crab legs the drink claw.bite the wine.the waitress was fabulous but wasn't happy with the grub

Centrally located in the heart of the city! Great location with very friendly servers! Reservations are recommended as they are usually quite busy! Love their menu and tons of yummy seafood options available!

For a Red Lobster, this was easily one of the best customer service across Toronto if not Canada. Food was fresh, drinks were tasty and dining in was a wonderful experience. Worth returning!

Excellent service. It was my first time at Red Lobster, I love seafood and was not disappointed. The buns were probably the best I have ever had, fresh and hot, with what I think was garlic butter on top. I could've just kept eating the buns. I had the Admirals feast. And calamari, the breading was light and crispy. It was all cooked perfectly, definitely some of the best I have had. I will be going back.

Always have to come with my wife everytime we're in Toronto, we both had the stuffed seafood mushrooms they were terrific but I would prefer them not to have the arborio rice in the recipe, the lobster bisque was really incredibly tasty, then we had for the main course the New York steak with lobster tail & bacon wrapped scallops, and a side of crispy brussel sprouts, everything was tasty, my opinion for the scallops I found that they had to much bacon wrapped around them &it over powered the scallop &the bacon wasn't cooked, the brussel sprouts I would honestly take them off the menu there's really no flavors in deep fried brussel sprouts, it tastes like fried parsley or anything else that you deep fry, I think they would be much better sauteed in a lemon butter sauce but that's my opinion, overall the place is amazing &so is the staff keep up the good work cheers.

Service was great, but my experience was not.

1. The table my boyfriend and I were seated at, the table was still dirty (had bread crumbs on it), and so did the seating. We had to dust if off ourselves with the napkins the utensils were wrapped in.

2. The drinks menu was limited. Which is okay, but would have rather known what was an option before getting ahead of ourselves.

3. We weren't served all the food we ordered, but was billed for it. Which was adjusted after speaking to the server.

4. There was hair in my shrimp linguini. Manager Ken was a sweetheart, who was kind enough to take that off the bill.

To conclude, just was not the greatest experience.

It was a great dinner. I went there for my birthday with my friends.the food was really great and their staff were super nice. Shaila was great. Thanks so much

Good seafood. Specially Lobsters are Yummy! It. I miss going to this place. It was walking by Friday my walk place and I was quite frequent here to indulge my lobster buds. I love their biscuits and miss them soooo badly. I was just fav. Must not miss it. They serve it to you before you start your meal. I am waiting for the day we all can again go back and enjoy the dine in there.

Amazing food. Loved every bit of it. And the staff is great ️. We dropped our food due to a little packaging error and they were kind enough to replace it with another one, no questions asked. Thank you guys ️

I came here from Japan.
I was able to eat delicious lobster, something you cannot taste in Japan.
And the clerk was friendly and cool.
If I ever visit Toronto again, I will definitely revisit.

Definitely great seafood restaurant.
When I was studying in Toronto, I went to there every week.
OMG, I really missed the old times.
