I hadn't been to Red Lobster in over a decade, so when out of town family suggested it, I was skeptical. We were a party of 10 and were seated in a private area which was such a blessing for our 90yr old matriarch. The drinks were massive, the food good and plentiful and the service fabulous. I won't wait another 10yrs to go back!
Red Lobster revised down sized menu is very disappointing. Tilapia no longer available as a standalone item on weekends. If you are non-alcohol good luck virtually everything has alcohol in it. Biskets seem to be in short supply as they don't ask if you want too up. I'm not sure if this applies to all but this very true of Burlington. Will be a long time before we go back unfortunately. They need to reconsider their menu, alot.
My mom fully enjoyed her meal. The lady who I picked her food up from (wish I got her name) sooooo nice. Thanks! (meal was pricey tho) (Monday Oct 9th night time)
Reducing from 5 to 4 stars Came back after some time. Again, the waiting time was 45 minutes before we got a table. I had a guest coming from overseas and wanted to offer a good food. This time I found the food very salty and the experience was not too great.
Excellent food and service. Be prepared for a 30 to 45 minutes waiting time before you get a table. Unfortunately they don't take reservations.
My husband I hadn't been to Red Lobster for a number of years so we thought we'd try it again. We posted on line to reserve and that worked very well as we only had about a 2 minute wait. Our waitress Wendy was excellent and took our drink order and brought us lovely hot biscuits. Next my husband enjoyed a caesar salad while we waited for our main entrees.
I was excited about what I had ordered as I love seafood. When it arrived it was cold and I should have sent it back but the restaurant was very busy and I thought best to leave it alone. My salmon was excellent but I didn't really enjoy the lobster or shrimp skewer as it was cool and rubbery. My husband's fish and chips were awful as the batter was very hard and the fish was dry. When I asked how the fries were and he said barely edible as they were cool as well. I was so looking forward to giving a rave review and enjoying an excellent night out with seafood. Sadly this was not the case. But we did have an excellent waitress and a lovely gentleman who sat us and after thanked us for coming.
It was a very good experience to visit this restaurant, the good was very good, the shrimp was very good, but the mussels was salty, the staff was friendly and helpful, sure I’ll back to try another types from menu
Went here tonight with my boyfriend and it was definitely a great experience. We both got the ultimate feast which was delicious! Only negative note was the fries, which didn't taste fresh and we're cold. But wasn't a huge deal as everything else was very good. Our server was very attentive and the manager even came by to check on us. Awesome service. Will be back.:)
I just wanted to mention that the manager (Bine) has shown great interpersonal abilities by kindly and wisely addressing an issue I had with them. As a customer, I felt heard and respected. Red Lobster should be proud of having a manager like her.
Came here for lunch with my friend during the week. Food was quick, filling and delicious. Especially impressed with the service. Meredith was attentive, friendly and professional. Great experience.
A bit of a slow service for endless shrimps but good for one time visit. I wish they had more grilled shrimp options. I miss the mediterranean shrimp they had couple years a go. The lobsters and fish are delicious.
The best Red Lobster I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere from the restaurant to the washroom was amazing, it was very clean, constantly cleaned throughout the day. The food was great, and servings were very generous. Service was some of the best I’ve ever received, thank you so much Meredith!
Loved everything about it.the food was awesome.ordered Kung Pao Shrimp Noodles, sweet Chilli shrimp and Shrimp skewer and Grilled chicken along with Mimosa.loved the food and the experience.would visit again soon.
Went here to celebrate my Grampa's 85th birthday. Everyone loved their meal and our server Colin was terrific. Great energy and friendly. Had an opportunity to see tables and benches being thoroughly wiped down after a party left.
We had a very professional waitress who was on our wavelength from the get go and showed up within seconds of us thinking of wanting something, as if she read our minds. The food was good too and the kids’ activity paper/sheet was more creative than most places. Certainly on the pricier side but value for money was good.
Disappointed with the reduction of shrimp dishes on the Endless Shrimp Special. Removed the Shrimp Linguine a while back and recently the Shrimp Thai from the all you can eat special. Only 4 options remain for it.
Great Experience, we went to Red Lobster to Celebrate completion of our kitchen renovation, ordered ultimate feast with virgin Pena Colada. I was hoping to have oysters for appetizers but they did not serve Oysters. Overall a good experience, our server/hostess (Christine) was great.
I called on friday asking to book a reservation for Saturday at 6: 00pm. I was told they don't do reservations and that the wait would only be 15minutes. I had planned on taking my 95yr grandmother out for dinner and she agreed a 15min wait would be okay. Upon arriving I was told a table for two would be over an hour wait. She can't stand for long and the waiting area was completely filled with people shoulder to shoulder together despite covid restrictions. What kind of resturant doesn't allow reservations.
Their service is great but their food doesn’t deserve any star at all. Not going to we go back there again. Overall their servers are very well trained and that’s pretty much it.
Good food great service. Almost half the tables were off limits to distance patrons which added to wait time. Tried stuffed mushrooms, shrimp cocktail, calamari, fire grilled salmon, new orleans salmon and half lobster tail.
Everything was a bit too salty. Tried the ultimate feast. The shrimps were good. Lobster and Crab was average. The biscuits were fresh and hot but bit too salty. The COVID protocols are very good in general. They are letting people eat in the alternative tables.
We normally have great experiences at red lobster but tonight we called and told there was no wait time/ no reservations. We arrived 10min later to be told there was a 45min wait very disappointed to be lied too
We had a great dinner. Our server Amanda was amazing! First-class customer service. She was very kind, personable, accommodating and attentive. This is one of the best Red Lobster locations we have been to. The food was great and the people were great!
Pros Friendly helpful staff Good Atmosphere Delicious Biscuits Excellent Shrimp Trio Felt safe and comfortable regarding covid protocols
Cons No Craft Beer! Market Value Lobster was underwhelming - no follow up questions from staff when this was mentioned Womans Bathroom smelt as though it had a plumbing issue
Amazing service! Amazing food! Amazing experience! My 15 month old daughter was wanting to walk around and the ladies at the front were having so much fun chatting and interacting with her while there weren't any new customers walking in. Gave my husband and I a chance to enjoy our dessert:)
We had a curbside dinner to celebrate family birthdays. I have to say, a lot was lost in the translation. From scones to the meal, nothing tasted quite the same. Disappointed.
Red lobster a classic sea food restaurant.awesome food, fair price.
I had the bar harbor bake wife had shrimp trio.we had lobster stuffed mushies as well as bacon wrapped scallops for an appetizer.all the food was cooked to perfection and tasted lovely.
Those red lobster buns or whatever are absolutely addictive.a lovely way to get out and enjoy a nice meal. I've been to Burlington location a number of times and j love it there awesome.if I could remember waitresses name I would thank her as well she was great
We placed an Uber eats order for 2 bowls of soup and a side order of the creamy potatoes with lobster.for almost $30.each dish ended up coming in tiny cups.for an $8-$9 item.this is beyond disappointing. I wouldn't recommend anyone to get takeout soup.small and water downed.tried to call the restaurant.no answer.
We ordered for dinner and that included 2 orders of crabs legs. We had eaten a good portion of them and then we noticed some legs were completely covered in BUGS! Do not eat here. Ever. We feel sick and completely disgusting. First and last time at Red Lobster.
I just finished a meal at Red Lobster tonight. They have introduced a payment screen standing on the table - it's a trap! *DO NOT PRESS ON THIS SCREEN*. I was curious and I tapped on it, though there was no clear instruction of what it is, and I was charged $2.50 for some "gaming" fee. As a long time customer at red lobster (over 20 years), I am very disappointed being treated like this with poor type of tactic of overcharging customers.
I just want to start by saying thank you for working during COVID. Me and my family have always been impressed with your food but we ordered food New Year’s Eve at 11: 30am right when they open for pick up at 8: 30pm. We get outside the door at 8: 30 for curb side pick up to know that they ran out of food. Seriously? I couldn’t have received an email around noon so I can order from somewhere else. Super unimpressed and will never go back because this is definitely unacceptable. Again, I totally understand that they are overwhelmed but I at least expect a call or an email before driving for 30 mins to find no food. You have lost a very frequent customer.
2020 was a horrible year, but what you did to me today was the worst thing in this year, I made my order @ 12 pm for 8: 30 to make sure I order ahead of time, but you canceled my order without informing me. I went for pickup and you surprised me with this news on a new year evening, leaving me and my family without a proper dinner
We ordered takeout from Red Lobster for a friend's birthday and the food is actually quite good. Obviously the fries were kind of soggy (understandable), but the pasta dishes and the shrimp dishes were all plentiful and satisfying. However DO NOT ORDER THE LOBSTER DIP - it was super salty and so dry and sad looking. I scooped it into one of my measuring cups out of curiously and we got less than 0.5 cup of dip.
I met some friends here for dinner and we were so disappointed. The service was good but the seafood was tasteless and rubbery, and for the price you pay you should be able to expect quality. We all had crazy stomach pains all night also. Not sure if it’s just this location or if the whole franchise is going downhill. They also don’t take reservations on the weekend for some reason, so there was no guarantee that we wouldn’t be waiting for a table. I used to go to Red Lobster all the time but it’s not as good as I remember.
Prices continue to increase while the quality of the food continues to decrease. The shrimp sizes are so small now they should be embarrassed to call themselves a seafood restaurant.
Good variety of dishes, very child friendly, and relatively fun atmosphere. One must be prepared to know almost all the seafood served is gonna be fried, crumbed or sauted in plenty of oil and butter.hence little of the seafood is fresh and purely straight from the sea to your dish.
Ordered the ultimate feast 35.99. Was expecting the usually choice of salad.no salad. Menu said comes with rice a sides. Waiter said 2 sides. When I got my dish no rice, just sides. I thought biscuits were refillable. Never asked if we wanted more. For $35 a plate I would expect a small salad and more buns. Food was warm, not hot but came in timely manner and presented well. Although the waiter was good, Not the best impression this time for value.
Service was excellent. The lobster was bitter and rubbery. The steak was extememly tough and chewy. I ordered it medium rare which it was when it came out, just a bad cut of meat. The crab legs were overcooked and dried out. Will not eat here again.
AWESOME customer care by both Ash and manager Sony! My son has food allergies and they took exceptional care with his meal. The fact that they double and triple checked ingredients in a meal that we thought would be OK, saved him from possible health complications as it contained allergens. Thank you both for your diligence!
The Burlington location is always packed however I find the food not so great. The last three times I attended the food was still frozen. I’ve been disappointed greatly so I tend to wait to patron a Red Lobster in Mississauga when I’m in town.
The toast with the escargot was overcooked yes cargo was not that great not very garlicm too much cheese. The steak was undercooked 4 medium.it wasn't the best meal I've ever had. The server could have been a little more attentive
Always been a fan and only ever went as a special treat. Now that they box the biscuit mix for home use it makes it easier to feel like I'm going out to eat here.
It's a red lobster. Went for all you can eat shrimp, basically only go for all you can eat as it's pricey otherwise. The plainest shrimp was actually the best, the breaded and garlic butter soaked were kinda blah. Our server was FANTASTIC! I'm so sad I forget his name but he was probably 45 and I think he said he only works Thursday, Friday, Saturday night and is just amazing! Their old fashioned is actually REALLY good.
The service was unbelievably poor. Went at about 3: 45 the restaurant was wide open only about 4 or 5 tables being used. Our server had 2 tables to look after. But she was amazingly inept. Waited forever to get water and menus, never came back to see if anyone needed a coffee refill. Just stood around talking to the other servers. Some serious retraining is in order. The food was what you would expect; but the service took away what is normally a nice dinning experience at this establishment.
Went for lunch with family, restaurant was clean but a little dark. Service was quick, staff were friendly. Prices were a little high but I'd rather here again.
