Used them for AC repair and installing a heat pump. All the technicians were very professional and clearly took a lot of pride in their work. Installation of the heat pump went smoothly and the technicians were polite and very patient in explaining how everything works.

I had a scheduled maintenance which I confirmed. When the technician came, I saw his truck from the window, but he did not ring my doorbell. Then he left a message at my door that I was not home for the appointment. This is ridiculous. I called unreliable and described the truck and the technician and asked them to re-schedule.

The home is now rented out and they play the same game and ask for payment.

Make sure you are aware of this side business when signing up.

I have changed my review to 5 star. I called for service 10 days after the warranty period of my water heater expired and Reliable sent a tech same day to fix the issue. I was not informed on the phone that it would be a billable call so I paid for the diagnostics and labour. Reliable called me back to follow up and refunded the amount.

This place is amazing, had to change my furnace, and my venting going to the roof in such a cold weather they were able to make it next day and hook me up with a roofer to complete the roofing work.
Shawn the sales man was amazing, knowledgeable and understandable.

Now Alex, Cam and Osama, these 3 guys are machine. They had done the amazing work, went through things with me in details, provided filters for a year and had cleaned after them so I did not even need to worry.

I was given a quote for X furnace that was the basic and at the installation date they could not have it due to shortage and had to get me in with higher model almost 700$ extra with 0 cost on me.

Jordan the installation manager is awesome and had made the whole process simple and easy.

I went with a heat pump, new hot water tank, ERV and everything works great! Greg is very passionate about the green solutions they offer and it is very much translated with the finished work.

We used them to install a brand new AC unit, since ours was leaking, and out of warranty. From the first interaction on the phone booking a consultation, they were friendly, informative, polite, and very professional. Not to mention the cheapest of the quotes we received.
On the day of the install, the 2 gentlemen arrive EARLY, asked whether they needed to wear a mask instead of just entering my home. They completed the work in a shorter length of time than they quoted me, in 30 degree weather without any complaints. They were friendly, polite, and professional the entire time. Explaining the steps of the job to me, all the while with a smile on their face.
I will be using them for all of my maintenance needs in the future, and will recommend them to anyone to asks.

Had our AC, furnace and hot water tank replaced 6 years ago in 2016 by RHE after obtaining quotes from three companies. I had the privilege of speaking with the owner and was very impressed by his honesty and straightforwardness. Was not initially looking for a Hot Water Tank but he made an excellent rationale for owning vs renting and I’m glad we made that choice.

The new equipment works far better than the undersized builder grade that came with our house and we’re using less natural gas and electricity in a home that is much more comfortable. From the coldest to the hottest days you don’t even think about it. It just runs perfectly in the background.

While the cost was less than the competition, I was initially concerned about having to pay for annual service calls to keep the 10 year labour warranty but it has been an excellent investment and they service both the furnace and the AC for not much more than what I used to pay for a service call for just one piece of equipment. I’m actually a bit surprised the price is as low as it is for a service truck and first rate tech. Last year, they replaced two expensive parts under warranty at no charge and before it affected performance.

Unlike in the past when my previous AC was running inefficiently for years, I have the assurance of knowing my equipment is running at peak efficiency. I’ve been very impressed with their service techs on every call.

There are other companies out there with similar sounding names so make sure you’re dealing with Reliable Home Environment.

From the booking phone call to the service appointment was EXCELLENT. Very informative staff at the office and the techs who have come on site have been AWESOME. I will never do HVAC business with anybody else. When my family members and friends current units hit the road I will make sure they use Reliable unless they like poor customer service elsewhere.

I have had about 7 different tradesmen in our home to renovate our basement, Reliable Home Environment was our pick for HVAC. The job was not small, moving an AC, rerouting ductwork, installing a humidifier, adding heat pipes and cold air returns. Out of the 7 that have come here to do jobs, Reliable was BY FAR the best to work with. They are professional, on-time, incredibly clean and efficient. Their pricing was consistent and very fair. Jordan came in, took a video of the job with all of the elements (again, quite complex) and gave a quote to us within 48 hours. He had the job broken down and hadn't missed a thing. When Alex arrived to complete the work, he explained what he was going to do, how long it would take and what impact we'd have during the project. At the end of the day, the site was spotless and he gave me a tour of what had been accomplished. They were so fast, I was amazed by all the work they got done in a day. Overall, I cannot recommend them enough. I will be installing an ERV in the future and they will be the only company I'd trust to do the job right, the first time.

Thorough and professional and informative at every step of the process. Salesman Greg knew his stuff, installers arrived on schedule, installed perfectly, no mess no fuss. The installers worked like a well oiled machine, my wife and I continued on with our own work, and a few hours later all done!
The furnace itself is an enormous improvement, nearly silent while standing beside it, and absolutely silent anywhere else in the house. Airflow is improved, heat is more consistent and subtle. After sales service was available on the weekend when I called them to ask about a concern I had, and it was cleared up right away. No actual issue, just a confused customer.

we certainly lucked in with Reliable Home Environment. Jason was the tech.who fixed our issue in a timely manner and explained the cause of the problem. Jason was polite, patient and well mannered. He explained things in layman terms which we also appreciated. The price we were charged for a Sunday visit including the actual time spent solving our problem was quite reasonable compared to what their competition quoted us. When its November and the furnace stops working especially on a Sunday, we considered ourselves very lucky to have had Reliable Home Environment and of course Jason at our rescue. We will now use this company for future maintenance requirements, knowing the job will be done right the first time.

Weekend service for an unexpected furnace breakdown. Same day diagnostic. Next day installation. Received 8: 00 am call on a Sunday to go over purchase options. Installers at our home for 12: 30 pm. New furnace installed and heating before dinner on a cold winter day in December. You cannot beat that. Plus they offered a good price.

We've contacted few HVAC companies after our furnace has stopped working. The reason we chose Reliable Home Environment was because they were an authorized Lennox provider, their reviews were excellent plus they were promoted by COSTCO. Cherry on the cake was Shawn. He called us back within couple of hours on Sunday and coordinated installation for Tuesday morning. He even offered in the interim to provide us heaters.
We had a furnace, humidifier and AC replaced by them. They were Reliable! And amazing! Team showed up on time. The whole team Alex, Cam & Ouss were very professional, and they did an amazing job!

We were very pleased with the professionalism, knowledge and pleasant Reliable staff who replaced our very old air conditioning/heating system. The men were well organized and efficient and clearly knew what had to be done. It was a big job but they completed it within the estimated time frame. I highly recommend this company.

Remova of old system and instalation of new systems went flawlesely. The exterior unit is still pending due to semi conductor shortage. I had technician Daryl at my door to look at our furnace water leak within 2hrs of my call to the company! The company had installed a new furnace at our house about 10 months previously. When Daryl investigated the problem, he discovered a clogged drain plug for the AC drain pan. This may have been a condition that pre-existed the installation of the new furnace. Then he re-positioned the drain pan so that it drained properly. I was very satisfied with the technician's work, his attitude and his willingness to allow me to work with him. There was no charge for this approximately 1hr service call! On the basis of several experiences with this company, I would highly recommend them. They are Canadian-owned and operated.

I have had nothing but excellent customer service from this organization. From the yearly AC and furnace maintenance (going on 4 years now) to the purchasing and installation of a new AC. Everyone I have dealt with has been professional, friendly and honest.

Our AC died 2 weeks ago during the heat wave in May that we had. We contacted Costco (Reliable is their subcontractor) and they contacted us immediately, came the next day which was Thursday and had it installed on Saturday! They put as an emergency for installation. The service was amazing, the sales person outstanding and the 2 installers were professional and clean. Paperwork was seamless and easy. They made the whole exercise painless and simple!

He found the issue and since it was Sunday, we had to wait until morning to see when we would get the part. Monday morning, Darryl was over and fixed the issue. My furnace gave out just before Christmas. I contacted Reliable Home Environment because they had replaced my hot water tank about two years ago, and I was very satisfied with their service. While the furnace I purchased was more expensive than I had expected, the quality and professionalism of Reliable was top notch ad the furnace is exceeding my expectations. Reliable removed the old furnace and put in new venting for the furnace, and because the ceiling in my mechanical room was finished, it was a challenge and took longer than expected but they did a great job and I am very satisficed with the work. They also cleaned up and re-organized the drainage in the mechanical room, making it easier to get around without tripping over drainage tubes. The furnace is very quiet and is heating areas of the house that were previously not well heated. The thermostat is also easy to operate and visually appealing, and can be controlled remotely via the internet. Overall, I'm very pleased with the furnace and the service provided by Reliable Home Environment.

I read a lot of reviews and I'm sometimes skeptical of how authentic these 5 Star Ratings really are: but after the service I received today, I have a good feeling that all of these 5 Star reviews are genuine!

Two days ago I lost the hot water to my place, due to a malfunctioning Tankless Water Heater. I called around and managed to find two techs from two different companies, who came out to look at it. Both of them didn't seem to have a clue, so I continued my search.

I finally contacted Reliable Home Environment and within a couple of hours one of their techs arrived. As soon as I started speaking to him, I knew right away that he was a lot more knowledgeable than the last two techs I spoke to.

Within 5 minutes he had properly diagnosed the problem and after 15 minutes, he had fixed the issue and I FINALLY had hot water again.

All my questions were answered and then some and they were extremely fair with their pricing!

I just taped their business card to my tank and they will now be my go-to for HVAC. Thank you so much and I highly recommend them!

Furnace pressure switch broke down. Jaime was very courteous. Was able to arrange technician to come in a few hours after my call. Switch was replace in the same visit and furnace was back on and running.

Superb service and commitment to quality. Reliable installed a new AC for my home in 2018 and I switched to having them perform all my AC and furnace maintenance. I am very pleased with their maintenance services and with the new AC. They are always willing to spend the time to find the root cause of issues and ensure that my HVAC system is working at its best.

Really happy with my experience with these folks. I chose them through Costco's third party services, and in addition to great value, I have the cleanest install I could imagine. They had to run a raceway outside that's very sleek. Inside, the builders AC drain was sloppy poly-pipe, whereas Ollie fitted proper ABS piping to hug the perimeter of the unit and even went as far as to secure it with screw-in zip ties. The ductwork modifications are spot on, and Gordon answered all my questions regarding the thermostat. I replaced my 20 year old working Lennox system with a new one, and I'm quite confident with the product and the installation. Five stars.

My furnace stopped working at about 7 pm on a Friday. I called one so called 24 hour emergency company and didn’t even get an answering machine. I called Reliable and the phone was picked up by a real person immediately. After a conversation about the problem and my furnace model I was told that it wouldn’t be a problem tho fix and that they would have someone at my house in about 90 minutes. I was also told upfront what the initial cost for the service call would be. I think the technician arrive in less than an hour. He was very pleasant and got right to work. He showed me what the problem was and told me how much the part would cost. He had the part on his truck and the whole job was done in less than an hour. I also got a follow up call right after the tech left to check to see if I was happy with the job and to set up a future appointment.
Everyone I dealt with was completely professional and I felt like I got my money’s worth. I will definitely recommend Reliable for any HVAC work

As if that's not an honour enough, they are also crowned 1 of 3 "Lennox Premier Installers" in Ottawa. To be blunt, I chose to commission Reliable, not because of Costco, or their Lennox Premier Award, but because Derek was so knowledgeable, approachable engaged in his trade, pleasant, and has a sincere wish to be as helpful as possible to further the interests of the family owned business he represents. Derick is a no-pressure, all facts, humble guy. He never ever stops smiling, he's talented, charismatic and skilled. His install was completed today and its stunning. We're living on cloud 9 now with our Rolls Royce in the basement. Derick Harlick is the definition of excellence in customer service. Probably a great company in terms of installation and quality. However the gentleman on the phone just ripped negatively into the surrounding companies and it seemed like bad business. Also quoted me 2 grand more than a competing company, for the exact same furnace/job. Ended up going with someone else, since I don't like doing business with people that bash other companies. Seemed like he really knew his stuff though.

Daryl was quick to diagnose the problem with my furnace and resolved it without issue. He was very friendly and professional. I'm very happy with the service he provided and will continue to count on Reliable in the future.

Of course on the coldest night of the year so far, my furnace conked out! We called Reliable Home Services based on online testimonials and received absolutely amazing service! We called after business hours around 7: 15pm. The call was answered on the second ring and the HVAC Technician Dan was at the door in an hour as promised. Dan was so professional, friendly, experienced and knowledgeable. He explained everything he was doing and narrowed down the problem to a switch which unfortunately was not in stock. We agreed that it could be replaced the next day as our gas fireplace was able to keep the house warm. Dan called as promised to let me know he was on his way in the morning and was at the door at 8: 00am. Part replaced in a few minutes! And Reliable Home Environment did not charge me for the second visit! I would give 10 stars if I could. Thank you Dan and Reliable Home Environment!

My furnace died today which is a Sunday. I got a very quick return call. Darryl the technician arrived well within the time frame I was given which was great as my home was freezing cold! He was polite, courteous, explained each step along the way and MOST importantly he got my furnace up and running. He subsequently advised me of service options and did the math to help me make the best choice for me. I will definitely enter into a service agreement in the fall. I would have done so today but your company doesn’t do automatic monthly bank payments and I only use my credit card for emergencies. Thanks again so much for the great service I received today!

This company is amazing. Air conditioner went down and they sent a technician the same day. It was shot so got a sales consultation from Greg. He came to the house first thing and we ended up settling on an AC unit and new furnace (last legs). Combined it saved me money. Greg was not pushy but informative and I knew it was time to do the furnace anyway. He then made an appointment to get the install done the next day (what.this is amazing!). Taylor and Eric came to the house at 8am and were at it until 3: 30pm. They were professional, clean and overall great guys. It should also be noted I previously bought a new hot water tank via Costco and these folks did the install (Costco only selects the best and I understand why). After dealing with multi companies in the Ottawa area, Shawn and his team; Jordan, Ollie & Taylor from Reliable made all the difference, scoring very high in professional integrity, knowledge, and overall cost savings (significant). He was very responsive on email and phone. We got the report within three days after inspection which has covered all the relevant information.

I've been using Reliable Home Environment for furnace and AC maintenance for years. Why? Simply because this is an excellent company to deal with. Phone staff are friendly and helpful, the Service technicians are are prompt, obviously are highly skilled, and are very easy to get along with. Yesterday my furnace died, it had been on it's last legs for a while, but I was hoping to get one more winter out of it. After discussing the necessary repairs with the service technician I decided to simply replace the unit. Less than an hour later, Taylor and Dan arrived and got to work. The speed and efficiency they displayed while working was something to watch. And at all times they were 100 percent professional, pleasant, and simply good people to have in your home. Less than 3 hours later I had a new furnace. Overall, the Reliable Home Environment team made a bad situation bearable, and I know without a doubt that there isn't another company I'd rather do business with. Excellent service every way you look at it.

Reliable Home has been awesome to deal with. They were very efficient and installed a new furnace the next day after our old one broke. They were polite and friendly throughout our dealings with them. Unfortunately there was a defect with a fan in the new furnace they installed, but we called them when the issue arose and they had a friendly technician at our place replacing the piece within an hour. It's nice to know they stand by their warranty. We couldn't ask for better service.

I called Reliable Home Heating when my furnace broke - they sent someone right away - my experience or the advice given with the guy named Paul was not the best. The next day, I had to call them back - this time time it was clear the furnace had to be changed. The second guy who came Hans was very nice and professional. Reliable Home heating refunded the money I had spent the previous day and i had a new furnace installed the next day by Taylor and Mo who did an excellent job - they also installed my nest thermostat for free. For a minute it looked like it was going to be a terrible experience but the company made it right - which I appreciate.

From the call taken by Sydney, to the service visit with Karl, the experience was great. Unfortunately our furnace broke down at our rental home. Our HVAC provider that our landlord uses was unavailable, so we called Reliable. Karl came very quickly and diagnosed the problem. When we mentioned that the other company was coming at 9am the next day, Karl understood, offered a temporary solution so we could be warm, and left the unit in a position where it would be easy to work on the next day. With that said, we highly recommend Reliable and hope to switch to them soon given the true professionalism and class shown by Karl. Thank you.
