We had Gianni and Derek come and replace our water heater that had started to leak. They both showed up on Wednesday to stop the leaky shut off but after seeing the damage to the tank we agreed to replace it. They showed up in the specified time frame and replaced the tank. I will say that Gianni and Derek were professional and pleasant definitely both get a 10 out of 10.

Reliance tech, Phil, installed a Nest C-wire substitute to compensate for the missing C wire in my system. He was very thorough in his approach and tested the heating, cooling and fan settings to ensure that everything worked fine before he left. He was very cordial and professional

Phil arrived when expected and completed a thorough inspection. He also provided detailed instruction on the operation of the built in humidifier. He was friendly and knowledgeable and made good suggestions for replacing the hot water tank. I am fully satisfied with the service provided by Phil.

We had an issue with our furnace and central air unit in July of this year. Within 3 days we got a new unit and the installers were great.
The issue is their billing / customer service team.
This is an insurance claim and was told that everything would be handled between the insurance company and Reliance. Nothing got done on Reliance’s end.
Needless to say we can’t get a bill from Reliance to pay for the unit. They keep trying to get us to pay rental fees. We even went to Alejandro who sold us the unit for assistance and all we get is the run around. It is now November and I still can’t pay because they won’t send a bill showing the full amount.
We have dealt with Reliance for years and I have never been more disappointed with a company as far as customer service goes.

The Technician fixed the problem and it is working O. K.now. The Technician was very friendly and professional.
We had some problem for the Same water heater about 2 or 3 Weeks ago, and it was fixed it at that time by reliance. Like to know why there is problem again in a short time. Is it because the water heater very old and needs more servicing. Does it need to be replaced. Please let me know. The technicians on both times were friendly and professional. I do think it is that the water heater is old and will require more servicing all the time.

We had an issue with our sump pump. Reliance sent a tech named Cody who was amazing. He diagnosed the problem and sourced equipment for us in the same appointment. I couldn’t believe we didn’t have to re schedule to get it installed. He was polite, professional and was nice to my dogs!

A few days ago the thermostat and furnace stopped communicating. Needless to say, it got cold here. I have been a Reliance customer for a number of years, and have trusted they would would be there when needed. This time was no different. I placed a call, received a service date in good time, and Shawn was dispatched this morning to fix the problem. Shawn not only remedied the problem, but was also helpful in providing assistance in getting the new thermostat up and working, and facilitated a meeting time to speak to someone about a new furnace (not a gimmick, a new one is definitely warranted). Reliance is a good company with with great, knowledgeable technicians. Thank you Shawn and Reliance, life at home is better

We were very pleased that we booked Tech Phil to do our furnace servicing. He was professional and friendly. Phil spent the time to explain everything he was doing and answer any questions. He went out of his way to ask about and change the batteries in our thermostat and even checked out our AC even though it was raining. The most important thing though is knowing our furnace and AC are working efficiently and are safe. Thanks to Phil!

Highly recommend Reliance! Every step to getting our new furnace and nest thermostat was professional, timely and easy. Sales rep and installers took the time to explain what the problems were and how they were caused, and how they can be prevented in the future. The installers noticed a blockage not in the furnace itself and cleared it, solving an issue that I did not know was there and saving us money and headaches down the road! Thank you!

After purchasing new furnace and new ac when we call them in emergency the do not respond quickly our home is freezing i called 4 times and no action. Very bad service they do not care after they sell you the products

Last August we purchased new ac. And when they install it the messed up the new furnace which was purchased from them as well recently. I tried to start the furnace and is not working the tempruture is below freezing and I am worried that the water pipe in the house will freeze and busted. I call 4 time s 1st time they gave me appointment and they didn't come when I called again they said they will come 3 days later. I received call from lady called Asia and said they will call back to arrange portable heaters as part of my warranty and the didn't call nor brought any thing. When you want to speak to supervisor the person said they not allow to connect us to supervisor. The do not care after they sell the product to you. I don't know how we will bare the freezing temprture at night for the coming days.

We had a great experience with David helping us with our drainage issues! David went beyond what any one has done in my experience. I was not Available to be there when David came, my father was home and has a little bit of an language barrier. David took his time to call me and ask about what was going on. He even took his time to call me and explain what his plan to fix the issue was and if I would like to proceed with it! He made this whole experience a breeze! I will definitely be asking for David’s services again and you should too!

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. They have not shown up multiple times during the appointment windows given, the few times they have shown up, they don't come with the tools needed to fix the issue, even though it has been thoroughly documented what is needed to fix the problem. This issue has done, and continues to do damage to the home and they do not care and have not shown any concern. This has been ongoing for a few months now with nothing resolved. One or two mistakes are understood as mistakes happen, this many screw ups is ridiculous. Horrible company. Horrible customer service.

From start to finish, this was a most pleasant experience. On the agreed service-date, Kody O'Mara called us about 20 minutes before he and Christopher were to arrive. Both he and Chris were entirely cordial and gracious. They were attentive to Covid protocols, and to the fact that my wife and I, as seniors, were careful - indeed, fearful - on that score. The repair service technician was on time, very knowledgeable and professional. He did a system check with gauges on the refrigerant lines and found the problem to be loss of refrigerant due to a leak. Due to the age of the A/C unit (16 years old) and that it had the obsolete R22 refrigerant the service technician determined that it was not repairable and time to look for a new replacement. With his help and guidance I agreed with his assessment. It put my mind at ease with moving forward proceeding with a replacement.

Amazing technician, excellent service by Randy A (Reliance Tech)

I called Reliance for a Hot Water Tank issue and had a tech come the following morning. The technician arrived well within the time frame quoted. He phoned ahead to let us know his ETA. Randy A was so personable, professional, patient and knowledgeable! He explained what the issue could be and how he was going to fix it. He left the workspace clean (he even brought in a mat to protect the floors). The tank is working perfectly. I highly recommend service tech Randy A and love to deal with him if I ever have issues again! Reliance is fortunate to have such an amazing technician on their team!

Shane checked the wiring of my water heater and found the issue to be a disconnection at the gas valve. He reconnected it and said that it sometimes happens and to unplug the heater if I were to check it. He did not make me feel stupid about what ended up being a simple problem. The repair was extremely well done! He thoroughly checked all the error codes to determine the issue (s) with my Carrier furnace. Once it did start to work he was not satisfied that the problem was rectified and started troubleshooting again! My furnace has received more than excellent care.would recommend Phil to anyone! After 10 years of parts changing, many wasted service calls, flooded basements because of hot water tank run over and having to pay for something that never worked properly, we finally found someone that actually listened to the root cause of the problem (Antoine customer service). Needing a first thing in the morning appointment because of other commitments, Tim showed up first thing the following morning Saturday December 29 2018, called to let us know he was on his way. A short but concise conversation occurred and it was determined we needed a new tank. Asked for same time appointment, was asked if Sunday Dec 30 was OK, Sunday morning 8: 30 am, a call from the installer Mike (#2854) to say he was on his way. Here at 9: 00, very self sufficient, clean install, professional, and a lot of fun. Less than 2 hours, job complete and works great. This should have happened long, long ago. The first service call was appreciated as it was a holiday and we were without hot water. The serviceman was fine and pleasant but he made a mess of our lawn. He attempted to either park or turn around in our lawn when the ground was saturated. We have holes in the lawn and it will be very difficult mowing. He needed to be towed to get out of our drive.
The second service call was very good. The fellow was pleasant, helpful, informative and left our basement clean and neat. I couldn’t have been more pleased. He gets 5 stars!

Today I had a furnace & A/C installed by Reliance. All of the Reliance employees I dealt with were helpful, pleasant & efficient, beginning with the service technician, Jason, who set up the initial appointment with the Home Comfort Advisor, Frank Ondracka to the installers Mike & Don. Frank spent a lot of time ensuring he understood my requirements & offered some very helpful suggestions. I felt extremely comfortable that I was being offered the right package for my home. The installers were completely aware of everything Frank and I agreed needed to be done, even a few little quirks. They worked efficiently, made sure I understood how things worked & left the work area spotless. I have been totally impressed with the whole team.

Being a new home owners comes with many new challenges. When my hot water tank stopped working I contacted Reliance and they went above and beyond to help me out. The Technician was extremely helpful and polite. The manager Mitch Shelley was extremely helpful in calming my nerves in such stressful situations.
I highly recommend Reliance to all my friends and family. Great service from top to bottom!

My old rental unit was in need of extensive plumbing work. I had dealt with 2 other plumbing companies that were unable to fix a drainage problem I was having in my basement. I called reliance and met with your local manager Mitch Shelley. Mitch was was able to diagnose and fix the problem with accuracy, efficiency and went above and beyond to make me a satisfied customer. He went out of his way to make sure I was informed and would text me with updates and progress. He impressed me with his knowledge and assured me with confidence that my plumbing issues would be resolved and he was right.
Mitch and his plumbing team exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Reliance plumbing!

Called Reliance for a problem with Furnace they showed up 2 hours later to fix it. They had to order part to replace a bad part two days later. But then found another problem while working on Furnace and came back and fixed it the next day. Glad I paid my monthly for my Home comfort plan everything was fixed at no charge.

On Thursday May 10th I called Reliance Home Comfort to arrange an appointment to have my furnace checked as it was not turning on properly. On Sunday May 13th a Repairman named Hector come to my house to fix the furnace I was without since Thursday. I explained to Hector that the furnace would not stay running. He told me he knew what the problem was and he fixed 3 already that day. He took out a sensor and cleaned it and the furnace turned on. He was texting which he did for most of the visit. Every time I tried to talk to him he was texting someone. As he was texting, the furnace turned off. He mentioned I had other issues and he was going to investigate. I suggested the reason it went off was because the temperature had reached what the thermostat was set at. He continued texting and ignored me. This was very frustrating.
I went upstairs to mention to my wife what Hector told me. 10 minutes later I come downstairs to see how he was making out. There was no Hector. I checked his truck, the back yard and other rooms in my house he was not to be found. He suddenly entered through the front door. He told me three times, he wanted to send someone out to sell me a new furnace. I declined. I was very uncomfortable with this situation. He then proceeded to advise me that I have a cracked heat exchange and carbon monoxide is reading at 850 ppm coming out of the vent outside. I have a double lock on both gates he could not have gotten through to check outside. When I refused to have a salesperson come out he told me he has to shut the furnace off. I questioned him and he said because of the cracked heat exchange and the carbon is dangerous. I requested to see the tester. He only let me glance at it and I saw a reading of 1 on it. He turned my gas off and the power to the furnace. I said like hell you are and turned it back on because I caught him in 2 lies. My carbon monoxide detector 4 feet away from the furnace works fine, it did not go off. Hector went out and filled out a noncompliance form. I was in my foyer saying goodbye to my nephew when Hector handed me the form, leaned in and said “good luck to your family”. To me that was a threat and I do take it very serious. My nephew looked at me in shock when he said that to me and asked me what the hell was that all about.
I contacted a reliable company called Syles and had them test inside for monoxide. The test came back with a reading of 0 ppm. They checked the heat exchange and found no cracks. They went to the back of the house and checked the vent which read 13 not 850 ppm as Hector told me. I was still uncomfortable so the gentleman at Syles Mechanical called another service person who did a very thorough check. Finding there was 13ppm in the back vent and 0 in the furnace. He told me my furnace was running at 97.5% efficiency
I called Reliance back and talked to a girl there and told her the results. They wanted to send another person out to do another check. I was very hesitant but finally said ok. I made sure I was there 100% of the time. This time Keith showed up and did another thorough check. His findings were the same as Syles Mechanical.
I spoke with someone at Reliance and a manager was to call me, and never did. They must think what they did is O. K. With the noncompliance they turn your gas off within 45 days. So now I am left puzzled as to what is happening with Reliance resolving this issue.

I just had a service person from Reliance Home Comfort come check out my furnace. I thought there was something wrong as there was a smell that is not normally there. He called to notify me when he would be here within the window given. He explained everything he did as he was checking things over. He was very knowledgeable and polite. Being a new home owner, all of the appliances are covered under Reliance Insurance and I could not be more relieved. Living in Windsor, I was put in contact with the local manager Mitch S.after placing a service call about my furnace.

From the initial phone call to the follow up call after the service, Mitch went above and beyond to make sure that the service was done properly and efficiently.

I would highly recommend Reliance products and services to any new home owners.
