Jon from Reliance was excellent and went above and beyond standard service that I expected. He stayed until the job was done, well past 10pm just to make sure my furnace was up and running. Can't say enough great things about Jon. He did a fantastic job!

Dan and Dylan discovered the reasoning behind a reoccurring plumbing issue that would back up my dishwasher/kitchen sink and flood into my basement roof. This problem occurred 3 to 4 times, it took this company one try to discover the problem and fix it. I am so grateful to have this problem finally solved and no more worries about flooding. Highly recommend their services. Thank you for helping me.

The reason we switched from our former supplier to Reliance was because of their prompt and reliable service Prior to installing our new furnace Reliance maintained our old furnace as well as our plumbing system. Very happy with the work done by Lee Vasco who installed a Water Softer System for us. He is a professional plumber and took the time to explain how the tank works. Lee ensured questions we had were addressed to our satisfaction. Have no hesitation having Lee do additional plumbing in our home in the future.
Jose Figueroa another professional whose experience is testing home water, clearly explained options on getting good drinking water. As a customer we felt Jose let us make the decision with no pressure to sign on with Reliance. Thank you both for your professionalism and care.

Called reliance to service the hot water tank, due to water quality issues. From an aging Hot water tank, appointment was setup easily and arranged within a reasonable time. On the day of service a call we received providing the name of the service technicians and asking if they could come earlier, of course that was great! Joe and Anthony arrived calling me about 5-10 min before telling me they will be there shortly, they were courteous, professional, and informative. Overall it was a very pleasant and efficient service that went above and beyond what we expected, correcting the issue and ensuring that we wouldn't have another one (aging hot water tank) for another long time. Thanks guys, appreciate you.

Anthony was FANTASTIC! He totally made up for a technician that LIED that he/she was here yesterday, (they didn't even CALL. WHICH THEY SAID THEY WOULD) and the HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PHONE last night. Anthony CALLED me on the way to my house, gave me an approximate time he would arrive, he was wearing his mask when he entered, quickly fixed the problem with my water heater and went above and beyond his duties to answer all my questions, not even related to the water heater, but the services of Reliance. If you have a choice of technicians, I HIGHLY recommend Anthony! PLUS.he apologized for the previous technician! Not many people would do that. Anthony deserves a HUGE bonus, or time off with pay, or a HUGE raise! Or all three! I wish there were more people in the world like him! It would be a much better place! I only gave 4 star rating because of the above mentioned. Anthony deserves 10 stars! The company would have only recieved ONE star. Wake up Reliance, get better customer service!

Dylan replaced two 3/4” copper ball valves at our home. He is very professional and respectful explained what needs to be done to rectify the plumbing issues. I moved into a new home. The hot water tank was installed when I moved in. I had a quick explaining of the HVAC and hot water tank. There was no mention that the rental contract was not solely for the hot water tank but had a service contact included. After two years I owe $4252. This is unethical. How do you contact a VP or CEO. My husband was a CEO of two major companies and as a CEO you want to have good customer relations. Reliance does not provide you with good service and was deceptive in representing the facts. I was told of the mthly cost but nothing more.

Got two gentlemen (Ian and Tim) pulled me out of my bed this morning, as I was confused about the installation date, which I thought was tomorrow.after waited for me about 30 min, they didn't complaint a single word, instead, did a great installation with my furnace and AC unit.they also kept my house clean and tidy.very happy about their work, highly recommend.:)

update on 2021-09-23: called for 1st annual check up, Ryan showed up; although it was a quick and easy work, happy with the friendly service. Thanks Ryan.:)

We had our water heater replaced by Matt Brant and Kyle. They were professional and kind, showed up promptly due to unforeseen leak the day prior. They replaced our old water heater and replaced the venting as it was out of date. They cleaned up and explained everything very well to us. They answered all our questions. If we ever need repair or service again, I hope it will be from them.

My kitchen drain was blocked. The plumber was very knowledgeable, efficient as he proceeded to identify the cause of the problem and determine the best solution. Very professional, courteous and solutions shared to prevent a recurrence. I would definitely use again.

My wife and I woke up to our water heater making an awful noise and leaking from the bottom (underneath) the unit. We called Reliance right away and they were able to replace the entire unit within 24hrs. The tech - Austin - was exceptional. Polite, efficient, and was willing to assist us first thing Sunday morning. He did not scratch or dirty any of our walls or carpeting. He laid runners down which caught any water leaking from the old unit as it was being removed. The whole process took less than an hour and my wife and I are extremely pleased and grateful for the timely response and professionalism. 5 out of 5.

Julian was amazing! He came and fixed our central air fan on the hottest day of the year. Our appointment wasn’t until Sunday morning, but Julian called us to ask if we would like him to come take a look on his way home that night instead of having to wait 3 days. It was 9: 40 pm and Julian came and had it fixed within 10 minutes. He was very quiet as to not bother our next door neighbours with any noise etc. He cracked a few jokes and seemed to love his job. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better technician to have come save us from the heat. Thanks Julian.

I rent a hot water tank and all of the Tech’s I have met over the 10+ years were of the most professional, courteous and helpful. I have had issues with regards to common-sense matters but were resolved and a four hour window is a bit much they can do better in my opinion. However my rating is based on the boots on the ground and not necessarily the company it’s self. They represent and make the company. Without them the rich one’s at the top become null and void. The credit goes to them. Everyone who has been to my home, I have the utmost respect for. Well done for you on the ground and thank you.

I recently had trouble with my hot water heater, so I called Reliance and the Technician came out quicker than expected, which is excellent because who wants to go without hot water. He knew what the problem was and fixed the WH right away. He also installed a new filter in my furnace! All in all it was a great experience, fast, super professional, and everything is covered under the protection plan. 10/10

I called first thing in the morning, was confirmed for a technician to come between 10-2 to look at my air conditioner as it was not working. At 2: 30 I called back to check on status and was told that the technician was running late and that I was the next call. My appointment was still confirmed and a technician would still be coming out. I called again at 6: 30 to check the status was told the technicians work until 11 pm and that I would still see a technician… needless to say no technician showed up and no phone call to let me know or reschedule a different time. Awful when it’s 35 degrees outside. I would never use or recommend this company to anyone else. Poor service.

Could not have had a better experience with the HVAC technician today. Julian was on time, professional, polite and took the time to answer any questions I had. As a first time home owner the information he gave me is invaluable. Julian notified me 30 minutes before he arrived, so that my morning routine wasn’t affected. I appreciated that every time he went back to the vehicle to get a part he always took his boot covers off and put them back on while in the house. He expertly replaced a leaking pressure release valve on the hot water tank, did necessary cleaning, and hosed off the AC compressor. Great experience, and awesome service. Thanks Julian!

I'm very disappointed in this service; my heater water tank stopped working and was leaking from the T&P valve since Monday, July 19. I called and an agent told me a technician would be there on Wednesday, July 21 to fix it. Technician comes and replaces the T&P valve and saw that the insulation by the burner was wet and vacuumed up all the water. Turned the heater on and it still didn't work so he emailed his higher up to get a replacement and told me he'd call about an hour after he left to tell me when they would replace the tank. I waited and didn't get a call so I called him since he said I could if I didn't hear back from him. He didn't answer so I left it at that and called the next (Thursday, July 22) morning and he said there was miscommunication and he couldn't book an appointment for someone to come to replace the tank and told me that I had to call Reliance to do that. I'm a tenant here and so I had to call my landlord for him to call Reliance to book an appointment. He told me that technicians will come on Sunday, July 25 aka today in between 8AM-1PM. I'm waiting until I get a call from my landlord saying that the technicians will be late and arrive around 3PM. So I wait again and then I get another call from him saying that Reliance couldn't get a new tank, therefore, they would have to come on Wednesday, July 28 to replace it. My family and I have already gone almost a week without hot water and the fact that it was such last minute for them to tell us they couldn't order a new tank, is really upsetting. I'm scared that on Wednesday something like this would happen again where either something was miscommunicated and the tank was never ordered or something happened along the way and they can't come due to unfortunate events. The heater water tank is connected to my heating system as well and we're lucky it's not the winter or else not only would we not have hot water but we also wouldn't have heat. This is honestly such a bad experience and I'm really disappointed.

Had a really great experience with Ryan. He was really professional and friendly. He showed me what he was doing and gave me some pointers on what to look for in and around the furnace. He went above and beyond in my opinion. The experience booking the appointment is always a little frustrating. In the middle of a stressful situation (ie.cleaning up water from a flooded basement) you get out through a high pressure sales process. It just feels bad taste to upsell someone when they're in a stressful situation. Other than that, a great experience, with quick turnaround time. Thanks Ryan for your help.

Lee was a subcontractor that did the install for our water softener, he was such a professional when doing the job went above and beyond. We were told about a few issues we might have when we got our quote. When Lee should up he took care up them without any issues and cleaned up most of our other plumbing in the area and space issues.
If I ever need a plumber this will be the first person I call.
Thank you Lee for your services and going way above and beyond the service that was requested.

Lee has a great personality and is very easy to talk with and gives great tricks and tips to help you when he leaves.

Ian and Tim with their team did a great job of overseeing and installing a new furnace, Hepa Filter, Humidifier and A/C unit to our home in Orillia.

They were all extremely cautious and followed Covid 19 protocols when entering and working within the house and the back yard. We would recommend Reliance Yanch to anyone when deciding on an important purchase and requirement for our home comfort.

Aug. 26th, 2009 - Installed Rental Gas Water Heater
Dec. 20th, 2020 - (11 YEARS later) technician came to repair water heater as pilot light kept going out. Repair completed, left repair certificate, everything was OK
Feb. 1st, 2021 - (6 weeks after first repair) technician came again as pilot light again went out, and red flagged my system stating that it was not properly vented. Left us with no hot water, no solution and no notice.
So they have flagged my system for improper installation which they installed, and now want to charge me for removal of the system which was incorrectly installed by them and is the reason for the removal. DON'T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR SERVICE OR THEIR PRODUCT.
UPDATE: Gemma Wilson, the president of Reliance took my complaint under her wing and ever problem was solved by her. I thank Gemma for her assistance.

I’m very happy with the service. Austin arrived very shortly after I put the call in. He was very respectful and listened well to the experience I had had with the hot water tank. It took him no time at all to determining the issue at hand.
What I really appreciated was the way he explained and showed me what the problem was. I’m confident the way it was fixed that my tenants will not be inconvenienced again, at least not with this issue.
