The brand new propane stove that Rene’s installed last year has had nothing but problems (due to installation which they have had to com ‘fix’ 3 times) and getting them to come to a fire route seems to be very challenging for them. I’m unimpressed to saw the least.

I chose Rene’s to install my new woodstove and I am so happy with everything. The technicians Nigel and Philip were very professional and knowledgeable and taught me how to properly use my woodstove which I appreciate. I am enjoying a very long burn time with my Blaze King as promised, and am able to enjoy warmth throughout my very old farm house. I will definitely be using this company again in the spring to get heat pumps installed. Highly recommend if you are in the Trent Hills and surrounding areas if you are looking for knowledgeable and reliable technicians!

Rene is very friendly and reassuring that he and his business can accomplish what he says he can do. This is not the case.
I wanted to buy the biggest wood stove they offered, the Blaze King King. I was talked down a size to the Princess and was told it would easily heat each level of my 1640sq ft house and the King would be too big.
Well now that it’s constantly getting below zero Celsius, I have to continuously run my stove at 450-550 Fahrenheit just to keep the upper level of my home above 20 F.
Also, high efficiency? I have to fill the box up every 6-8 hours or else the fire goes out. Website states 30hr burn time on low.
I emailed Rene regarding this issue 4 weeks ago. You’d think a person deserved a response back after spending $11,000+ for stove and install. Then again, you'd also think that a company would known their stuff and wouldn’t talk someone down a stove size.
Oh, and if you do deal with them, make sure you constantly use your full name too. I was told I had the wrong day when I called on install day asking when I can expect them. I was told it was the next week. I used my full name during the call, but they assumed I was someone else. I’m not sure how someone can mess that up.
I was going to give 2 stars because the stove works, but after spending that amount of money, things better be right.
I’ll be going somewhere else next year when I install a fireplace upstairs.

My insurance started hitting me hard on my wood and oil furnace so I sent out emails to heating companies on furnace information and René's total home Comfort are the only ones that replied. Very friendly.

The worst customer service I have ever had. I purchased a fan for my woodstove, and upon getting it home plugged it in to find sparks flying from it. It was defective. They would not give me a refund but insisted it gets returned under warranty. 5 months later and many heated arguments I finally got my fan back.

We cannot say enough about the service received from Rene’s from Rene himself, his team and the office staff. We had a new furnace installed yesterday and my husband was at home all day, he said the guys were excellent.answering any questions, extremely helpful, conscientious and just got on with the job at hand. Brilliant was another word to describe the team. Thanks guys and we highly recommend Rene’s.

We needed a whole house humidifier but our specific requirements were perhaps unusual. We heat our house by forced air furnace and we have a fireplace that helps with heating bill. We also have large windows facing south so even during very cold weather the furnace gets very little work when sunny. That meant very little humidity introduced into our house if only provided when furnace was active. We designed the humidifier to turn furnace fan on when increased humidity is called for. Plus the furnace on for heat also adds moisture via humidifier. Our Relative Humidity is perfect thanks to Rene's!

Rene is your go to for anything heating. He is very personable and wants to give you a good deal. We got a heat pump from him and install was handled perfectly. The young guy who installed it gave me no trouble when I asked him to move the unit after it was already half installed and I changed my mind on the positioning.

This company is a joke.booked months in advance for a natural gas to propane conversion on a new stove price was reasonable for a 5 minute job and owners seemed helpful. Gave us a time frame we waited no on showed up till over 2 hours after when 2 young kids showed up looking for excuses not to do any of the work. We are both young professionals and run a company of our own therefore we know how extremely valuable customers are. Our house is being built and we have many trades at the site. Renes guys jist walked off the site lookong for excuses not to do the work. When we called to speak with Rene we were disappointed with him telling us to ask someone else to do it for us. I had contracted rene to do the work and not only did he waste mine and my wifes time sitting around and waiting but in the end having some unexperuenced young guys look for excuses and leave our site without doong any work.

Replaced our HVAC system in good time, on time, and at the price they quoted. No surprises at the end. And they seemed to have a good time doing it!

Purchased my house, had no idea how to use some of the things it came with. Rather than turn knobs and burn my house down. Rene was able to come over have explain to me in detail on how everything worked. Nap 9600 furnace and some nap propane wood stove.
Year later. The propane furnace burner is rusted out and since I'm the 2nd owner the 10 year warranty does not apply. Had him come in for just a clean and service started at 1: 30 pm ending at 4: 00 and the rusted part is still in there. Going to have to wait for a replacement.
