A friendly dojo for anyone who's looking into start Kendo, had been in kendo, or even looking for advance and high grade training, as it is instructed by a Sensei with many years of experience, who also trained alongside Team Canada.
If you feel like you want to try out the martial art, this is the best place to try it out. Everyone is very friendly and supportive here too!

My 10 yr old daughter joined this Dojo last summer. Our family was brand new to Kendo (has zero knowledge about it prior). We went for a trial lesson and my daughter really loved it - that's how we started and have been really enjoying it since. As the practices are structured by level (beginner/advance/kids), I was able to join my daughter's beginner practices after a couple months and making this a mom & daughter activity.:)
The Dojo is amazing. Led by Kim Sensei, who has impressive experiences in Kendo and trained with Team Canada. With his background in early childhood education, he is also very good with kids at any age. The atmosphere in this Dojo is super welcoming. There are many advanced seniors in this dojo who are always willing to share their knowledge and help anyone. No matter where you are in the journey of Kendo, you will feel belonged and supported. Everyone practices hard, yet there's always laughter and fun.
As a parent and a member, I can't thank enough to Kim sensei and everyone in this Dojo. They are not just instructor and seniors, they are inspiring role models and mentors for the young students.
If you are curious about Kendo, looking for something different, or to learn something together as a family - I would highly recommend to come in for a trial. If you have prior experiences in Kendo and looking to advance, this is definitely the place to go.

I’ve chosen to enrol with my 8-year old at Renshin Kendo Dojo due to the fantastic coaching being provided by Bill Kim Sensei; the insight brought with his decades of experience, as well as his ability to keep each and every student engaged, leads to invigorating classes where you can feel you’re constantly progressing.
Furthermore, the atmosphere at the Dojo is one of inclusion, sincerity and fun, supported by kind and knowledgeable senior students who train diligently every day, while helping to foster the potential of anyone who walks through the door.
Needless to say, highly recommended!
