Renu Spa Urban Retreat

I so enjoyed the quiet retreat from the world. Anna has a great touch, just firm enough to gentle my muscles literally from head to toe. The delicate oils were a bonus for my winter-dried skin.

I had a calming and pleasant experience at Renu spa! Shilla is very nice to talk to and fast and professional and well experienced. I’ll be back for sure! Also nice and welcoming receptionist made my day! Thank you

Nicollette was amazing! This was my first full body massage, and my first visit to this spa. Nicollette was very kind and made me feel at ease. She worked on areas I had pointed out from a lot of tension in my shoulders and upper back. I left the appointment feeling much better!

I have come here many times for RMT and literally all of their practitioners are excellent. I recently came in for a facial with Sheila and I cannot recommend her enough! It was definitely in the top 5 facials I’ve ever had.

I had a 60 minute deep tissue massage with Kendra! She was amazing! She listened to me and worked the area I was having problems with. I walked out of there feeling wonderful and booked a 90 minute! Thanks Kendra

Unfortunately, my experience at Renu Spa was very unsatisfactory
Even after giving all the details of my pain points, the masseuse just focused on my upper back for 50 mins out of the 60 mins of registered massage that I was booked for
Even while booking, the person on the call was unwelcoming.
That is definitely not a reflection on the rest of their staff. We were welcomed very warmly and one of the managers (Sheila) was very forthcoming and accommodating.
Some people might have a better experience here. Unfortunately, I was not one of them

We had a wonderful time at the spa. Lovely receptionist, huge, impressive and clean spa and treatment rooms. Nice touches like dried fruits, nuts, tea stops and a fresh towel station. I had a Barbara Sturm facial with Grace and it was a revelation. Best facial I've ever had including a massage and very good skin advice. The grace was truly amazing, I felt completely cleansed, relaxed, and walking on clouds. It was so much fun to spend time with freshly brewed tea, soothing music, etc. An experience I would love to repeat and highly recommend.

I always go to Renu when visiting Ottawa, as I love the atmosphere. It’s relaxing and calming and overall peaceful. I have always had awesome massages with great pressure, pinpointing areas of need. This was my first time I was disappointed with the massage. I will give the masseuse the benefit of the doubt, as maybe she was having a bad day, but it really felt like she just wanted to be done and didn’t put any care into my massage. I definitely won’t go back to her, but will for sure still go to Renu, as all my previous visits have been exceptional.

Renu Spa Urban Retreat is a great place for facials, manicures and pedicures, massage and other self-care treatments. The spa is kept very clean. The employees are courteous and very helpful. I highly recommend it!

The massage itself was good, I just feel like I was robbed of some minutes because we started later but finished right on time. ESS than the hour I paid for.

Simply amazing every time I go here. I've been seeing Leah, massage therapist, for almost two years or a little more now and I can't be happier. Very relaxing vibe and quiet place. The staff are quite lovely and very accommodating and friendly. The services are vast and exceptional. Oh, and if you're pregnant and looking for a massage, you can come here! They have a pregnancy pillow. I highly recommend this place.

I had the most enjoyable, relaxing spa pedicure and shellac manicure. Sheila did my service and she was fantastic! I will definitely be back to see her. The place is super clean, great COVID protocols, excellent products were used! And the best was how relaxing it was!

I went here for my birthday and received a seaweed body wrap and additional 30 minute full body massage - It was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. The heated bed was comfy, the music was calming and overall, a truly relaxing atmosphere. I loved the hot stone massage, especially on my feet which are constantly hurting! I left feeling brand new. Thank you so much everyone at Renu for creating such a great experience - we came back a few days later and bought a certificate for the same treatment as a gift for my mom. I'd 10/10 recommend this place to everyone. You'll leave with a glow and feel so so relaxed.

Always soothing, calming and healing when I gift myself with a facial at the hands of Shiela! Plus there's arms and hands, and neck massage to complete the experience. If there was 6 stars I'd give it 6 out of 5. Aaaahh, so wonderfully relaxing

I really enjoyed my facial appointment! The spa had a warm, relaxing atmosphere. The aesthetician was kind and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain every step of the procedure and made thoughtful suggestions for my skin. The neck, shoulder and scalp massage was also a really great bonus! I loved it so much that I booked another facial appointment for next month.

I have been attending this Spa for years and always receive superior service and treatments. Very knowledgeable staff who are always willing to go above and beyond. Love this location & staff enough to keep going regularly despite my moving out of town to over an hour away! I highly recommend.

My friend and I went there for the first time to get facials. We got to do it in a room together. The ladies doing the facials were very kind, professional and very attentive. They had a very realistic approach and did not try and push products on us that we would not use (we both have a very minimal and quick face care routine). The atmosphere was calming and relaxing. My face felt great walking out of there and still feels great the day after.

I had a massage with Lauren yesterday. She's great and was very nice to me. It was my first massage so she took the time to explain the process and switched the cream because of my allergies. If you enjoyed your appointment, I suggest that you book the next one right after you pay at the reception as they are very demanded. I enjoyed my experience and have already booked my next time.

We went for our first couples massage and it was fantastic. The staff was very professional and the spa was very clean and nicely decorated. We went while on vacation and they were probably the best massages we’ve had (we go regularly at home). Highly recommend and we will be back any time we are in Ottawa!

I had such a great experience here for my massage with Lauren. It was very relaxing, but also drew attention to some problematic areas. She listened, and made sure to focus on my upper back since that’s where I was having a lot of problems. She also made suggestions for decreasing the knots there.

Went for a massage with Amanda and absolutely loved the whole experience! Booking the appointment was dead-easy with their online appointment portal. When I arrived the receptionist was very friendly and hospitable, the facility was clean and had a nice, calm atmosphere. Amanda did a fantastic job, it was the perfect balance of relaxing but still working through my knots/stiffness. She was very knowledgeable and gave good advice throughout the massage of things to do on my own time to help alleviate some of my stiffness. All around a really great experience, I booked two more massages with them right away after!

I love Renu spa's Kent street location and staff! They have an all-star team who are accommodating and care about their clients. I most often have aesthetics done with Laura, she knows her stuff! Shout out to reception, always pleasant and helpful.

Had a facial and pedicure done. Nice atmosphere and very clean. I reached there an hour early but they were kind enough to accommodate me and I sat there working on my laptop for the hour.

I had Microneedling at Renu just recently. Totally recommend it to everyone. The downtime was only 2 days and after that my skin felt and looked amazing.
I'm using Skinceuticals for post treatment and very satisfied with how my skin is looking.

I have been going to the Kent location in years and I have yet to be disappointed. The RMT are all good and the ambiance works for me. I also like that I can register online for massages.

Went to Kent street location with my sister for a massage. Both our first times and overall we were nervous. A very clean, quiet, and relaxing place though. When we got into the room there was soft music playing and dim lights. The ladies who gave us our massages were excellent. So sweet, calm, and made sure we were both at our best comfort. There was never a feeling of judgement and it was an overall very nice space. After our massage we were given lemon water and free bath salts along with some advice on how to stretch and make sure we weren't stiff the next day. An overall excellent experience for my sister and I and we will definitely return when she is back in town.

I had my first experience at RenuSPA yesterday. It was fantastic. I suffer from a herniated disc in my lower back. It isn’t often I have symptoms, but when I do, it immobilizes me. When my back started to stiffen up, I called RenuSPA, got an appointment next day, and was treated like royalty upon arriving. Leah, in one hour, took care of all my pain. She followed up with giving me homework (stretching program) and took the time to go over it, and properly explain what to do. Great job Leah and RenuSPA! I will be back!
