I would give a higher review if the sand area, wasn't a plume of toxic stone dust just hovering in the air.

All the surfaces are covered in a fine film of stone dust.

No matter if it is hypoallergenic or not, without proper ventilation installed in the sand dust will always be carcinogenic.

I'm very surprised this is even a thing as there is a huge push from the province to eliminate dust and particulates, especially around kids' families and workers. I would highly suggest installing proper ventilation or removing the sand entirely. I know the kids are having fun, but the harm it's causing can be irreversible.

You can see the haze in front of the lights in the picture below. Not great, Reptilia.

Definitely recommend. Went with a friend during the day and we were both surprised. Lots of variety, great decor and clean. So happy to have a place like this in London!

Wow! We visited Reptillia for the first time the other day. It was so fun and educational at the same time. It is perfect for all ages. We will definitely be booking our sons birthday there. Bonus shout out to the friendly staff, especially Coty! He was so informative and friendly and definitely made our experience that much better. We got a family membership and will be back often! Thank you!

We did my son's birthday party at Reptilia, and it was incredible! The kids loved learning about the reptiles and getting to touch them was awesome! They had a wonderful time going through the exhibits. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable! 10/10 would recommend!
I didn't get many pictures because I was too busy having fun!

To be honest I thought this place would be better. As someone who is in the reptile hobby, seeing the lack of enrichment in the enclosures was sad. Majority was snakes you can find at an exotic store, expo or even kijiji.
The enclosures didn't look like they had proper lighting, enclosure types/size not suitable for certain species.
Ex. Box turtle kept in a tall enclosure, should be more walking space than height, the large sulcata with MBD are just like cows and should be grazing - looked mad depressed. These guys have so much personality so it was sad to see. The other sulcata only had a small basking spot and nothing else, should be lit up, same goes for the redfoot/cherry head tortoises - don't get why their enclosures were so dark.
Then the majority of enclosures were empty, but saw a turtle hatchery was going to be placed, hopefully it's for endangered/rare species as there are too many in the hobby (ex. Red ear sliders) that don't have homes.

The crocs were very neat to see especially how large the Niles are. But besides that to someone who doesn't know about reptiles, it's like going to a dog pound with how the enclosures are.
The chameleon looked stressed and was clawing at the top to get away, should have way more vines. Pothos are incredibly easy plants and grow very quickly.

This place has so much potential to add some passion into the enclosures and species variety. Instead of concrete, which I understand is easier for cleaning, bioactive is really good for reptiles, gives better color, enrichment and look. Misting system and overall matching their natural habitat with plant species would do wonders in attracting more people, then educating them on hey this is how to properly care for them, it shouldn't be just the basics.

The zookeeper who fed the iguanas on Monday had his plants falling down and rear exposed to the crowd. Buy a belt and have some pride, as an educator its you should have more professionalism than that.

For 20$ an adult, expensive for what it was and tbh wouldn't recommend or go back.

Kids loved it. We did too. Very friendly staff. Great with the kids and even scheduled feedings. Animals look happy and well cared for. Recommend for sure!

Really cool place. Clean environments and very caring knowledgeable staff. As a grown adult with no children, I walked around the zoo maybe 3 times, and I could still go another round.

Quite possibly one of the best zoo experiences I’ve had with my family. The staff is wonderful, the displays are great and I could see the animals were very well taken care of. I’m baffled by the public reaction to Reptilia and personally I think people need to find better things to do with their time, but more importantly has any of these protesters actually taken the time to see what this establishment is all about? My kids who are only 4 and 5 got to listen to a great presentation about snakes and reptiles (got to touch a few) and were educated on the importance of respecting wildlife. They now know what it is for an animal to go extinct and we even saw a little lizard that has essentially been saved from extinction due to conservation and places like this. Overall a fantastic time. I fully support this business and I think the city of London absolutely should as well. We have real issues in this city and a great family friendly establishment shouldn’t be one of them.

It was my first time going to this location.
Everyone was friendly, the enclosures looked amazing! We had Will as our reptile talk host and he was very educational & friendly throughout our visit. We will be back again and bring more friends as well.

Had my daughters birthday here the day they opened. Staff was incredible. Knowledgeable. And you can tell that they are working to provide the best experience, and home for their creatures. London needs stuff like this.

I also chatted with reptilia CEO, great guy!

We went to Reptilia in London for the first time today and we were blown away! Right from the start, we were welcomed by friendly staff and given great information. We didn't arrive until about 5pm, so there were no shows or feedings, but even as staff were clearly finishing up for the day, 2 team members took the time to stop and chat with us and give us extra info about the particular reptiles we were looking at. The enclosures are fantastic; very well lit, proper heating, lots of moving water and natural materials (when appropriate), and the residents (the reptiles!) appear to be very happy and healthy! I have had a variety of lizards and snakes as pets for almost 20 years, and you get to know behaviours.
Definitely recommend visiting Reptilia and we will absolutely go back!

We had our preschool field trip in the London location. All the children and parents had a great time. Great learning experience. Gained knowledge and will definitely go back for future educational field trips. The kids loved touching the animals and hearing all about them.

Amazing experience that staff was overly nice and welcoming sharing all stories of how and why the animals are there, saving them, training them educating everyone! The kids enjoyed it too!

Visited the London location on the weekend and had an amazing experience. Staff was awesome super kind and helpful. We had a gentleman name William helps us with any questions we had also he was the educator for the reptile show which he smashed out of the park. Definitely will be coming back with family and friends as well as will be recommending to all my reptile enthusiasts. Well done london location.

Great experience that everyone should visit. Our "guide", William, is probably the most knowledgeable in this field of animals (reptiles & snakes) in the whole of the North American continent, fantastic knowledge, and great at showing his passion.

We went as a home-schooling group and in the future will go again if the group option is available. The man leading the lesson was informative and polite, and the walk-through area was large enough for wheelchairs and strollers. Unfortunately, I didn't like seeing the lack of fresh plants in the exhibits. We felt it was worth the money when in the group, If we went individually I don't think I would be saying the same things. The staff are excellent and the washrooms, hand wash stations, shop, and kid zone were well-designed except for the sand box area- it's way too dusty in there to breathe!
