I ordered the NYE package and it’s all delicious…this is my 2nd time to order and I keep coming back.

The food and the atmosphere is great but last night my friends and I were waiting to get inside after at the patio. But when we got inside the bouncer put us at the very far back which is fine.the table is for 6 to 8 people So I requested to the waiter for us to transfer at the table near the middle as it is empty na and there are only 3 of us. So the waiter cleaned the table and was going to transfer us near the middle but the bouncer interrupted and insisted for us to stay were we are. And it’s very disrespectful for him to do that sabi nya dito lang kami sa Likod. Is it because we are gay and trans? Napaka homophobic nang bouncer nyo. Talagang sinabi nya at maraming nakakita at ni wave nya kamay nya samin na dito lang kami sa likod? Very disappointing and disrespectful. We felt unwelcome sa bar nyo. Kaya umalis kami nang friend ko agad. Homophobic pala bouncer nyo which is so sad. Kaya hindi na kami pupunta ulit and not going to recommend the bar. We felt unwelcome sa bouncer nyo

Superb food. The outdoor bar serves excellent kabobs and the atmosphere has a good bbq essence to it

A very homey Filipino place where you can listen and watch local Filipino bands and perfomers top famous Filipino as well as western hits while savouring Filipino classic cuisine and drinking your fave liquor or beer. You can also join in the fun jamming with the band or singing karaoke during performance breaks. Food is great, plentiful, prices are reasonable

The best Filipino cuisine you'll ever experience. Three words best described this place, Supreme, Superior, and Superb. In which sumerized in one word, "BEST". This place is amazing in terms of food! I love the food! We always come for the oxtail kare-kare or the bangus sisig cause its so flavourful!

To be honest though, service can be a little better. All servers when we come its hard to call attention for because they are just hanging on their cellphones.

The place was great. Food is good and band samecase was amazing. However, we have to wait over an hour for our rice. And our server was rude, i think his name is Chris. He asked us to just write down our orders since they were short in manpower that day. And everytime we tried to call him he will just look at us and walk away. Poor customer service

The servers are very accommodating and helpful. He attends to all our needs sepecially Jericho. The food is great and there reminds us of home.

Terrible customer service. Me and my friend went there first time and the service was Terrible. 1 of the ladies was giving an attitude, everytime we called she would look at us like we are upsetting her. Even when ordered she was looking sideways. We were litterally ignored. Not happy at all.

Lucky to get a table when we walked in. Sisig, garlic rice and buckets of beer were the perfect combo. The music and performers were amazing. Attentive and approachable customer service.

Very bad customer service. I’ve been here many times and we always have the same issue being ignored. This is the only night i got so frustrated we ended up standing up to just transfer to another resto bar.

Servers seem to attend more to whoever they wanted to serve. Such a shame.

As you sit down, they dont even bother coming to take your order. They’ll give you a hard time waving to get their attention.

The security guard is rude and they don’t have priority of the customer whose came in first who have connection from the employee have to be seated fist. So frustrating and disappointing I was waiting to be called 2 hrs, first time happened in my entire life

If you like Karaoke, Filipino Foods, with great vibes, this is the place to celebrate, eat with friends and those who appreciate simple fun loving crowds.

Meat was extremely dry the only thing giving it moisture was the sauce. The mandem just got violated twice after what happened the day before.

Always having a great time with my friends every time we eat here. The servers were committed to great service though sometimes the place really gets busy, they are still friendly and give their best to attend every table. It’s a good place to hang out with good food and good music (:

Filipino comfort food, buckets of San Miguel Pale Pilsener and Red Horse, free open mic karaoke. This restaurant is located at the corner of Bathurst St and Wilson Ave in Little Manila.
We ordered plenty of food and beer. Recommend their lechon kawali and kare kare. Come by when you're bored and looking to start a career in singing, drinking and eating.

I looooove this place. Went here for the first time and had a blast all thanks for this AMAZING server I had ever experience with RIZZA. By the time we stepped in, she was full of enthusiasm and excellent accommodation. She gave us the best reccos for the food and drinks and was helpful from the start until the second we stepped out of that door. My friends and I were elated for our night out! Will def recommend this place mostly for Rizza. Hope more could experience what we had! Salamat <3

The crowds are awesome, the server was super nice.
The food not so great: (I mean the depending what you ordered I guess I ordered the “not” so tasty and greasy food.
Disappointed because the food was pricey and customers like me expected better quality.

This is a restobar, what do I expect? Good service and safe environment.

BUT both were NOT met.

1. NOT an excellent customer service. The guy who took my order was curt. The lady never informed me that the food I wanted to order was unavailable. Please train your staff to speak friendly and to smile genuinely.

2. NOT a safe environment. There was this guy who sit next to my table. It was fine. But then he started to become annoying to the point of making me uncomfortable. What did the guy who held a metal detector do? He just stare (considering that he was standing next to that annoying guy). I don’t believe in phrases like “o ginusto mo dito so magtiis ka”. Why do I need to put it up when my safety should be a priority in the first place? No one has the right to be entertained when his/her presence is not wanted.

In a customer’s perspective, 40% accounts to the taste of food and 60% accounts for customer service. If you wanna eat Filipino foods AND be approached by a rude disrespectful middle-aged guy, go dine in here. But if you’re someone who values customer service and safety, do not dine in here.

Now I know why this business does not have any vision or mission in its website. #NeverAgain

No one attends to you until you ask - not welcoming.
Excited and thrilled to eat at this resto. Upon arriving, staff noticed but ignored, we helped ourselves and waited till someone attends to us - was confused because it was our first time thingking we need to order at the bar, asked a lady if we can order with her - she was hesitant and dont want to take our order and told us instead will call our server which never attended to us. We waited patiently and transfered inside as we stayed outside, instead so maybe they can see us and not be confused. We waited almost an hour for our food - didnt even know if we ever get our food ready till we asked. Two tables from us were even talking how it takes forever.
We travel alot and never have any issues with late serving of food but the fact that we didnt exactly know whats going on or if we have been forgotten no one of there staffs had the courtesy to even update us or acknowledge us.
When we realized it was too late - we followed up with our food, was served and got it wrong.
We came to the resto excited and happy and left very frustrated.

I've come to have a Bangsilog as take-out over the past few years. I must admit it's very yummy for my personal taste.

However, tonight Jun. 3rd, 2022 at 9: 00pm I came with some relatives for the first time to hear some live music. We were very disappointed with the bad service we received. We asked to sit inside, but instead they placed us outside near the dining entrance.

I had to ask for everything, the menu, drinks and food which we never received. After 1 hr, we asked the server what happened with our drinks and to our surprise he told us they didn't have any mojitos so he brought us another drink (rum & coke). He didn't have the audacity to let us know they didn't have mojitos anymore. We waited 1 hr 30 mins and we didn't get any food. He just kept saying "sorry, sorry" everytime we asked for something.

I noticed other Filipino customers who just got there were well served with water and were given the menu right away. My family and I felt a little discriminated because we are not Filipino.

So, after seeing that we waited for more than 1 hr for food, we decided to pay for the drinks and left.

Not happy with the service

If I can give this place a 0 star.mygad me and my two friends were patiently waiting when this baboy of a lady said “may tatlong tao ba dyan” so obviously we said yes. She asked for our names which made us think it was a reservation for three. (This was our first time so we didnt know anything and were so thrilled to eat and enjoy the live band) so we took a step back, and she rudely said “ang aarte nyo, magtitinginan nalang ba tayo dito”. I just think that was such an unnecessary comment especially because it was just a simple misunderstanding. I’ve never encountered such a rude, unprofessional and ill-mannered person in my life. Hoping she’s not the owner or not there to stay for long because that place will go down if they keep that woman in. We were ignored so many times. We’ve sat for almost 20 minutes before we had the courage to ask for a menu which took another 5… and another 5 to take our order. On top of that, food was chewy and cold. They forgot our beer and rice and dessert too. I do get that theres way too many people for just a very few number of servers, but that place is overall disorganized.

Bad service to non-filipino customers. Others order would come within 15mins while they didn’t even ask for our order after 15mins of our arrival until we approached them ourselves.

Food is really delicious and was served on a timely manner. Staff are very attentive to our needs. We had a very good dining experience.

The staff is amazingly friendly and the food is extremely delicious and fresh. Very reasonably priced with good sized portions. I will ALWAYS support this wonderful restaurant.

Update on my post. We've visited this place 2x in 2022 and, we enjoyed it sooo much. The food was great, food presentation and taste are exemplary (love their laing dish). Service is good considering it was packed. The live music was awesome. There's two security personnel roaming around so it felt very safe. The lady owner was accommodating. Overall if you're looking for a fun weekend night-out its definitely the place.

The chicharon bulaklak is very good. Service was a bit slow because it was packed with people. A little bit concerned about the spacing of tables inside feels like its too close from each other.

Why five stars? Filipino hospitality at its best. Because of the owners, staff; food and service what else? Go there they will take care of you.

If you want to have a horrible experience, this is definitely the place to go. Although the performers and bands were great, it’s not enough to bring us back.

Last night me and a friend went to republika to watch our friend perform. We arrived at 1: 00 am, and the security of the venue denied us at the door. We were able to get in, but the security told us that we were able to sit in but we weren’t able to order drinks. As we watched the performances, we saw all the tables around us get served alcohol. Literally shots and buckets of beers were being served. It was 1: 30 am at this point. I called over a server, and asked her what time last call was and she told me just now. But as I was talking to her the same security guard motioned a “no” to her. We were still not getting served, not even a glass of water. Not one server looked in our direction, literally passing our table as if we weren’t even there. Moments later, a table behind us orders shots of alcohol, so I called over the security guard and asked him why we weren’t able to order any drinks and other tables could. All he did was shrug his shoulders and give me a thumbs up and no real explanation as to why we weren’t getting served.

At this point, we felt very discriminated because we couldn’t speak Tagalog. We agreed initially to just sit in, and we were okay with not ordering drinks, but to see that everyone else but us could get service was very unprofessional and frustrating.

We were very excited to go to republika because we like the food, drinks, and performances. But after last night, we will definitely not go back and wouldn’t even recommend any of our friends to go to this restobar.

I ordered Chicharon Bituka through UberEats. It came cold and chewy. Looked like it has been sitting there for hours. Now, I’m experiencing stomachache.

This restaurant is honestly a “hit or miss” place. There are times where the food is served hot and fresh, while there are times where it is cold and stale.

It's been said that Filipinos love to have a good time - and a GOOD TIME is what you'll get at Republika! The food here is beyond a doubt excellent (their chicken adobo and sisig fries are damn good), and they even have live music! The people are so friendly, and it is like a mini fiesta atmosphere everytime I come here.

The only downside is, if you're looking for a quieter spot, you gotta come before 6 pm on weekends, because the atmosphere is pretty pumpin'. Also, lack of easy parking isn't great, and you'll have to find ones on Wilson to make it work. Still, I always leave this spot with a smile on my face, so that shows you how much I like it!

Very lit Filipino bar, excellent food, drinks, and atmosphere. Busy almost every night because of the open karaoke and live performances.

Hi Resto Bar, we are surprise your food "PANCIT" which is the specialty for Pinoy! One of my Boss ordered in your resto and you served us aweful food. OLD PANCIT you give it to him. That's what happens to us we keep running back and forth to the washroom. Next time pls. As a customer, don't serve left over food.

Friendly, food is alright. Service is kinda slow. Especially when ordering food. Sometimes the wait is so long. Amazing karaoke.

Good place and food are good. Safe place to go they have security that are great not like Marcilina. We always go back to Republika when we have time.

Horrible customer service! It was our first time there. Have been driving by for months, smelling amazing babeque, so excited to finally go for dinner. From the front security man to the server, just horrible. Made us feel very unwelcome. Waited almost 30 minutes for a grumpy server to take our order. Waited another 45 minutes for our food. All the regulars get amazing customer service and almost instant food and drinks to their table, while new customers get completely ignored. Food was decent. FYI "chicken steak" is actually breaded deep-fried chicken. Also, expect to cut your meat with a fork and SPOON. None of the tables were given knives. Leads me to wonder, has there been a stabbing here? Do not recommend this place, will not be returning.

The food has never disappointed and I love trying all the new items on the menu. I have taken several people to try this place out and they always wanna go back.

Theres a "cover fee" of $20 that was charged to us (we are 4 people so I guess $5 each), we were not informed of this added charge until the bill came out. Only ordered rice, sisig and pork belly our bill ballooned to $100+ because of it. Tip is not yet included so probably the first and last time we will dine-in. Good food though

Big serving, great Filipino atmosphere, and friendly staff! Wide variety of menu but not so much with drinks. I didn't have the chance to ask if they have desserts or not.
