ResCom Designs - Motorized Blinds & Custom Window Coverings

ResCom answered my homestar add and ffound a solution to the motorized blinds. ResCom were diligent in finding a solution were others had failed.

Overpriced blinds, mediocre quality, and slow service. There are so many better (and cheaper) blind stores out there. ResCom Designs was a huge disappointment and I regret ever having purchased from them. To top it off, their customer service is abysmal. Kyle and Kathy were patronizing and dismissive throughout the process. Worst experience I've ever had with a company!

Kyle came highly recommended from another friend so we had him over to install some motorized blinds for our new patio door. Kyle did an amazing job, everything was done on time and on budget. The installation was quick and easy. He even found me a bridge to allow me to remotely control the blinds. Perfect job. Service was amazing, quality is great. The delivery was excellent and after installation I had a question on a weekend I received support via a phone call! I would highly recommend them for blinds.

Kathy and Kyle were always courteous and helpful. They are professional and knowledgeable about the blind system we wanted for our home and installation was done in a timely fashion. We were always notified of dates and times of work schedules and Kyle was always punctual and happy inspite of the long drive and covid restrictions.

Kyle and Kathy have been extremely reliable and professional throughout all my encounters. Kyle and his team went above and beyind to organize a meet on a Saturday so that it was convenient for me.

It’s been about a month since my initial inquiry with ResCom. Yesterday we had our blinds installed and they have absolutely transformed our home! So very pleased with this company from start to finish. Kyle who came out to measure provided an education about blinds and produced a reasonable quote. The install with Carrie was kind and swift. She provided a tutorial on how to use the motorized blinds and left behind a cloth and resources on how to clean and maintain the blinds. Her work was neat and tidy and she even went the extra mile to re-hang a curtain rod and drapery! And Kathy again provided excellent service to provide us with a detailed invoice which made billing and payment a breeze. ResCom is a no brainer if you need blinds for your home or office!

The entire experience from start to finish was exceptional. Within seconds of sending an online inquiry, I received a call back from their lovely customer service rep Kathy. She was very friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond with any questions I had whether it be via phone or email. Kyle, who installed my shades, demonstrated the same high level of customer service by explaining in detail how everything worked and provided great advice. Both are very personable, and professional who offer high quality products. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs shades.

We are so pleased with Kyle’s service from ResCom Designs! We had new blinds installed in our house a few years ago and I reached out to Kyle because one of the blinds wouldn’t close. No questions asked he quickly ordered a replacement! His service was outstanding so much better than using a large franchise. I have 6 yr old motorized blinds that were purchased elsewhere. When the solar powered battery died, there were no distributors in my own town that were prepared to order the retrofit parts for me. Kyle not only had the part but also the batteries and sold me only the parts I actually required. He placed calls and emailed the OEM on my behalf for a $25 part!
I was impressed and very satisfied!

Kyle and his team were extremely professional and we love our new roller shades. The blackout is perfect in our room and the light filtering allows so much light in our living room without any glare on the TV screen. ResCom's team came in and took out our awful heavy drapery and our hanging vertical blinds that were falling apart as part of the process for us. Our only regret is that we didn't make the switch three years ago when it first crossed our mind.
Kyle also was kind enough to swing by and quickly fix one of our chains after it was caught on the window knob and snapped by our own fault. Wonderful customer service! Would highly recommend them for all of your window covering needs.

We are very pleased to recommend Res Com Designs! We first used Kyle Huggins services back in 2010 for our town home. We had set up the entire place with vinyl white blinds.

This year 2018, in our new home, we had honeycomb ivory white shades installed throughout with top-up/bottom-down adjustables, along with day and night shades for the right rooms. As always, Kyle is professional, punctual, friendly, patient, great communication, with thoughtful creative input. As always Kyle’s price was very competitive, we did our due diligence and also sought quotes from Hunter Douglas and Budget Blinds. The installation was smooth, clean, and efficient. The final look is amazing! We had some second thoughts on the shade colour we chose, and perhaps we should have gone with Kyles recommendation. However, we are very pleased with the final result. The privacy element is fantastic, and a great choice for townhouse living. The order came in on time too! Thank you Kyle!
