Residence & Conference Centre - Brampton

Pictures of rooms are abit misleading.however still good value, despite the tv's not being hooked up to cable

We recently stayed at the Residence & Conference Centre - Brampton as part of a team trip. Our entire team stayed at this facility for a week. It has a common area on each floor along with additional common/kitchen room area. This was fantastic as the team used one room and the parents meet in the other. The building and area is very safe and secure. Free parking is included. The rooms are as large or larger than any hotel room and to have 2 separated bed rooms from the kitchenette area is fantastic. Each floor also has washer and dryer access. The only downside was the towels were a bit on the small and old side. If that is important to you, I would bring my own towel. For everything you get you can not beat the price.

Hello, The room was what I expected. It was nicer than previous University Hotel Residence dorms. There was a musty smell. The fridge was a large size and clean. Microwave was handy. Pillows were foam. Bed was double in size. A buzzing could be heard but the air conditioning sound drowned out the buzz. What was tough was location. Stores were at least 20 minute walk from location. I used an electric scooter to get to the grocery store. About $8 there one way so $16 on a scooter return trip. Not practical for everyone. On a bus line.

Everything was great but the a/c was too cold the central. Clean room. Service was great.

Terrible place to stay. Worst place I've ever stayed at. It's run down, some what smelly and alot of loud. And humming noises coming from somewhere all night. Paid $130 with taxes. Not even worth it for that price. I wouldn't stay for $50. Pay the extra and go elsewhere.

No temperature control in the rooms. Beware of the additional charges.

If you are staying for only a night or two, this place would be great. If longer, you might need to pre plan so you have what you need. The room was great. Two bedrooms, a kitchen with fridge and microwave, bathroom with shower. Very clean and updated!
Unfortunately no cable television (would have been nice to watch some tv in the evening). You can get certain items from the front counter like irons, hair dryers, etc. (these are not in the room)
Also no continental breakfast. There was coffee but when I asked for cream, I was told, the coffee machine was run by someone else.
The front counter staff were pleasant and accommodating. I’m assuming students of the college staff the hotel.
I gave it a 4 star because of the lack of cable and continental breakfast.
