I love where I live. The view is amazing and having laundry in my unit is life changing. I moved from nyc and while prices are similar, I get more here. A 24/7 concierge, actual contact with building management/maintenance, a pool and gym!? ! Amazing. (that’s just my personal experience). I do wish the gym was open 24/7 and there’s construction noises above my head sometimes but overall I’m so fortunate to have found this place and live here.

Aldo did an amazing job with the installation of our smart TV, we were so happy with it.
We highly recommend him because we loved the way he worked.

I have been living in 235 bloor st east since i came to canada 6 months ago and i am lucky enough to met people like arlene, lyn and most specially madam liberty from the lease office at 235 bloor st east

I came to canada i couldn’t afford the housing and renting it requires me alot of things like a guarantor's to support my renting papers, i decided to rent a airbnb that time few weeks after, knowing some streets already in toronto i pass by the rogers building and i saw the 235 bloor st east that they have a vacancy i decided to come visit there office and they are very welcoming and very helpful to me since i tell them whats my agenda

the workers help me to figure it out how to fill up the forms and to complete the requirements,

I need to come to comment a kind service I had last week. I went to look for one screw and Mel asked me my problem was solved beyond my expectations by the leadership and problem solving skills of Aldo and great help of Adriano. When COVID got longer I thought about moving to our little town home but I am glad we did not. The location and the staff of this building make us at easy to stay and live in a great city!

I have had the absolute pleasure of living in this beautiful building for almost 6 months and it cannot be a better experience. Only yesterday I reported that the air-condition unit was malfunctioning and just today, Aldo, the very efficient and effective maintenance technician arrived with a new motor and, not without some effort, replaced it and the unit is operating smoothly once again. The entire operation of this building is extraordinary and everyone who works here is amazing! I am so happy and grateful to be a resident.

The staff are always friendly and helpful! Whenever I had a problem with my unit, Aldo was the best person to come and fix it, he is excellent.

I’ve been in this building for over 5 years now and I’ve had a very positive experience all throughout and have only good things to say. All the staff has been incredibly nice and accommodating to me - they have gone above and beyond on numerous occasions, and certainly value my tenant loyalty. They say hi to me, make conversations when they see me and all service requests are always done timely and adequately! Special shoutouts to Liberty and her team (Aldo, Raymond, Lynne etc) who do an awesome job every day! I recommend this building 100% (conveniently located, kind staff, fantastic amenities). I can never move!

I placed the service request late yesterday and a technician came early this morning and replaced the light bulbs very quickly and efficiently.

The ladies of the administration team are phenomenal they assisted me in every way possible, from Arlene showed me the unit, until now they haven’t cease to amaze. There like my moms away from my mom! Arlene/Lynn is incredible. They are friendly, sincere, knowledgeable and very efficient! I’m impressed with both them and the building, and I don’t regret my decision at all moving here!

Maintenance guy was coming in my suit to apply microwave, and he was not only an expert on his job but also fixed my other problems like leveling my stove as well. He is eager to help in a proper manner. I'm really lucky to live in this building because of the excellent customer service.

I’ve only been living in RoB for less than a year but I know I plan on staying here for many many years. The building itself: location, safety, accessibility & amenities are GREAT!
The management, maintenance and even the cleaning staff are so present, helpful and super friendly. Whether it’s a maintenance job, or a personal request that I’m seeking support with, they’re always there to listen, do their best to help, and often go above and beyond.
The web portal/app is also really great for streamlining all the services we need as tenants as well as being able to pay rent, receive news and updates from management and other residents, and it’s all done so quickly - only hours after you’ve made a request, there will be communication if not immediate resolution.
Really grateful for be part of the community of this building.

I lived here for many years. The building staff was always thoughtful and understanding. They listened and tried their best at all times. The location is fantastic. The subway is close, grocery is also close etc. The building amenities are solid. The building is mostly young families and young single professionals, with some students here and there. I enjoyed my time at Residences on Bloor.

I've lived in Residences on Bloor almost a year now and overall I can't complain. It is in a very safe area of Toronto to the point where I've never felt unsafe coming and going around this apartment. The security staff at the entrance have always been very friendly and accommodating in terms of holding packages and especially helping me use the moving elevator during my move in. I've had bad and disorganized experiences with that in past apartments but Residences on Bloor made it easy. The leasing office staff were reasonable in terms of getting my lease organized and I had no complaints about the state on my unit upon moving in. I've also had no issues with requests to enter my unit as these tend to be rare including semi annual fire alarm inspections and pest control. Overall I feel like the apartment is very good at valuing the tenants privacy.
My only complaint and the reason why I only give this place 4/5 stars and not 5/5 is that some of the rules are not well enforced at all. There has been a unit on my floor that smokes an absolute ton of cigarettes inside their unit that stinks up the entire floor. This has been going on since the day I moved in and the apartment staff is well aware of it and isn't doing anything to prevent it although it's against the law. All they will do is occasionally send around a notice to all the units on the floor asking them to stop which the people smoking just ignore because they know nothing will happen. I've had to purchase an air purifier and have it running at the entrance to my unit to stop the smell from making its way into my unit. It is painfully obvious which unit is responsible due to the strength of the smell but the office staff obviously don't care because it's been going on for over a year.
Other than that, the apartment is a decent place to live.

Residences on Bloor has all the necessary amenities a resident can ask for. A laundry area, gym, swimming pool, barbecue equipment that you can rent out and most of all, very nice and accommodating staff!

After living here for the past 13 years the management and staff at Residence on Bloor go above and beyond to make my stay here “Home” they are always eager to help and assist with all of my needs whatever they may be

Have lived here for past 3 decades. The current mgmn't team are amazing - they look after tenants' concerns promptly & efficiently, and during the past 2 yrs of Covid, have kept us safe and healthy with constant deep cleaning and implementing safety procedures. While I only lived here for 1.5 years, I have had a really great experience with the management and building staff here. From the moment I submitted my application, to the moment I moved out, I was presented with pure professionalism and care.

Any of the management staff is a joy to deal with, and they certainly don't let up on their care for you after the lease is signed.

The maintenance staff, cleaning staff and security is quick to respond to requests, and all of them are quite professional as well.

I was lucky enough to live in a recently upgraded unit which means the kitchen appliances, dishwasher, counter tops, laundry/dryer and bathroom surfaces were brand new. The windows were quite new as well, never froze during the winter and insulated the noise from outside quite well.

Overall, it's a great building to live in, and the location is second to none - steps away from Yonge and Bloor subway station. If I could have stayed I would, but personal circumstances required me to leave.

Amazing building management with super convenient location. Friendly Staffs under Liberty's have been so helpful to us. Always felt safe with active guard on duty. I would strongly recommend this apartment anyone wants to live on core of the city.

Lived here for a couple years and have nothing but great things to say about the building and its staff! The management and maintenance teams are very friendly and helpful! The rental process was a breeze and on the few occasions I needed maintenance, their web portal service made everything easy and efficient. The location is ideal and the building has all the modern amenities to live comfortably downtown!

I am writing this review to thank the management team and maintenance staff here because my wife and I are being taken care of in a professional, friendly, and caring manner.

Ms. Liberty, the property manager, is considerate, remembers our names, and knows exactly what we need. Teresa and Ray are always helpful and informative. Recently, they all have helped us deal with parking and maintenance requests quickly and efficiently.

The location is super convenient, near No Frills, Freshco, Rabba, and Longos. Close to Sherbourne station and Bloor/Yonge station. Near many banks. Starbucks and Tim Hortons are nearby.

Inside the building, we love our cozy room, gym, pool, and mail/parcel receiving service (three receiving choices: mailbox, security counter, and Parcel Pending).

I highly recommend this place to those who intend to rent around this area. A five-star rating is for the best apartment we have ever lived in.

We have just moved to 235 Bloor Street East recently but really enjoy staying here. Especially I love the way the property management team treated us like family members. They are very kind and supportive, always listen to our issues and help us deal with these immediately. Highly recommend it for those who have intention to rent a condo/apt here.

I have been leaving here for 3 years staff is amazing from office to maintenance personnel, the seniors in the reception are the best I prefer them than the younger guys that are new. Place is beautiful!

As a current tenant, I've never met anyone who was unhappy about living here! It's a great location, clean and well-maintained apartments, excellent management and staff - the best apartment I've ever lived in.

I have lived at Residences on Bloor for 12 years and absolutely loved it! The property management team under the leadership of Liberty and Mel have embraced the communities they live and work in.

In 2016 I moved my elderly mother into the building. I explained to Liberty that my mother has Parkinsons disease and was unable to climb over a regular bathtub. A one of a kind suite was renovated just for her, complete with a beautiful step-in shower (the only one in this entire building). The maintenance and support staff has been exceedingly accommodating and kind to my Mom, especially Jack who has always gone above and beyond.

Perhaps it is considered a cliché to say that we are treated "like family" by the management team at a rental building. But my personal experience living at Residences on Bloor, we are treated "better than family".

Recently I moved to this building with my wife, and I really like the location, kitchen, cozy room, gym and pool, but the most amazing thing regarding this property would be the management staff. They are very kind and generous and have supported us since we went to see our unit for the first time. The five-star rating is not enough for me!

I lived at Residences on Bloor for 5+ years and had a great experience. Liberty and her team made the move-in and move-out process very easy. The management at the building is great and the location is awesome.

Lived here for 4 years and all the management and maintenance staff were all very polite and welcoming. And the building was well looked after. It's also a great location too right next to the subway and grocery stores would highly recommend.

The management is really very good. Very quick response is found in case of any requirement and the staffs are amazing!

Staffs in 235 Bloor community, most especially to the manager, Liberty Pitel are all AMAZING, accommodating and responds quickly to any queries. Our moving day went so smoothly, thanks to the manager and to the other members for the support. I am now happily settled in my lovely & peaceful place. Highly recommend this community!

Ms. Liberty, the property manager, give us a great impression on her quick response on all emails. She is also open to listen to any of our request. For example, she is willing to let us directly visit inside the unit for a tour. She provides us keys early for our moving stuff before move-in date.

One more person I would like to thank is Ray for his support by providing the moving trolley and blocking an elevator on our move-in date.

The location is great and the management and maintenance teams are phenomenal, sweet, caring people and are extremely quick to resolve any issues you're facing. 10/10 would recommend without hesitation, lived here for 5 years, this place more quiet, but everything is still very convenient, supermarkets (no-frills and Longos), restaurants, shopping Centre, everything is close to reach.as mentioned, the management team is excellent in my opinion. Where do I begin? I almost never write reviews but this place really deserves a good one. Amazing well-maintained building in an amazing location with the best management team ever. Steps away from Bloor-Yonge station and close to all the services you could ever need. Not only that, but who can say no to being right next to Yorkville, the Bloor shopping area, and the bustling Yonge street with its many many restaurants? !
What I must say, though, is that the shining star in all of this is the superb management and maintenance team. They are on-site and always ready and available to immediately help with repairs or anything you need. They are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are happy and comfortable in your home. We’ve been living here for almost a decade and just absolutely love every single one of them. Liberty, Teresa, Arlene, Lynne, Mel, Roy, Jack, and Raymund really are the sweetest and we consider them all like family. Trust me, once you move in, you will never want to leave.

I am so glad that I found this lovely building for my family in Toronto to live in. It is so complicated to manage the issues during the pandemic, but nothing is impossible when you have a responsible, supportive and smart manager in the building.
Under the management of Liberty, my family and I feel high-security level in the building. It is unbelievable that after each maintenance request, the building's professional and patient staff are available in a very short time even one time in 5 seconds after I clicked on the Enter key.
In Residences on Bloor, I understood the meaning of an efficient and effective system, and based on that, they focus on solving your problems and understand your conditions and do the best to satisfy you.
I appreciate Liberty and Mell and also her excellent people in the team especially Teresa and Ray for all their efforts in the building and I hope for health and success for them and their family.

I love this place, lived here for a year, my room is on the west side. It's much more spacious compares to the other new condos, and the view is great, very warm in the winter as well.

A Nearby church and slightly away from Bloor&Yonge makes this place more quiet, but everything is still very convenient, supermarkets (nofrills and longos), restaurants, shopping centre, everything is close to reach.

The management team is excellent in my opinion. Property manager Liberty and her team are always friendly and helpful, and staffs that for repairing are on-time, friendly and professional.

As for the the room appliances, I rent with a renovated room, I like the spacious counter that provides convenience to my daily life, basic things are well equipped except there was no in suite laundry for my unit.also worth to mention that the mail and parcel receiving experience is quite good because there are dedicated service boxes installed. Also visitor parking and underground parking provides great help when I have a guest to visit.lastly, there is no balcony, however there is a patio on the west side with decent view.

Residences on Bloor is truly a remarkable place to live. The team always do their best to keep the building clean and inviting. They are very professional and very responsive to their residents' needs. We were looking for a bigger space recently after living in a smaller unit for 5 years. With the help of Liberty and the team, we were able to transfer to a larger unit without any problem. The transition request was very professional and they dealt with our request in a timely manner. We truly appreciate their effort to go above and beyond in order to accommodate the request. We thank Liberty and the team for all their hard work.

The information received at the Rental office, the color painted in the studio and the new appliances, stove and fridge. Really nice!

Liberty and her lovely team of ladies (Teresa, Lynne and Arlene) have gone above and beyond again and again to create an amazing community within Residences on Bloor. Whether it is hosting events (Pre-covid), being compliant with covid measures or resolving any of our concerns, they have ALWAYS been super responsive, diligent and treats us like family.

Maintenance team is also on top of everything and addresses problems within the unit quickly and swiftly. They even follow up with us to see how we are doing if we bump into each other in the elevator.

Oh, and their security team? Simply amazing. Not even an ant can crawl through without getting permission from them first.

If you are thinking about finding a place to stay downtown. Look no further! Location is already a plus and the team here gives such a warm touch that makes your dull and cold city life brighten up!:)

I want to thank Residences on Bloor building staff, they have always been supportive before and during the pandemic.

Liberty the building manager is an amazing person backed with a superhero team in the office. They are focused on solving the problems and keep residents happy rather than challenging them.

During the pandemic our dishwasher broke down and they were struggling to get the parts, but due to the pandemic situation they couldn’t get the parts for about a month, so Liberty and Mel gave us a new dishwasher, Roy and Tressa were very helpful in the process.

P. S. Jack is the most agile truck driver on earth

For the location you can't beat Residence on Bloor. But location aside this is by far the best property management team I've had the pleasure of dealing with. Extremely responsive, kind polite the only reason why I'm leaving (after 7 years) is because I bought a home. Under the leadership of Liberty the team treats residence like family and try to create a community. You would be lucky to live here.

The service person was friendly, made sure the work was done properly, kept all service areas clean and followed COVID protocols as requested.

The place is clean, people are friendly, Lynne the Assistant Manager is super friendly and ready to help.the places is secure it has A/C and Heater both i mean i love it so far

Residence On Bloor is a great place to live in Toronto! I have had a wonderful experience living here for several years. The building is very well located and close to UofT, Yorkville, TTC, Dundas Square and also another important attractions. This property is very well maintained by incredible staff who are beyond responsible and caring, managed by Liberty Pittel who is an amazing person, so helpful and always so caring and ready to listen to your needs. Waited 30 minutes for elevator this morning again! Late for work again! Waited 15 minutes this afternoon for elevator! Why are they always on service? Staff just laughs, oh well! So many water leaks! Black Mold in gym ceiling! Run!

So noisy! Jack hammering and drilling all day, even weekends. Constant apartment renovations never end. Slowest elevators ever (when they actually work).

Management team is very responsive and sympathetic to any issue you bring to them. They are quick to resolve problems you might be having. Building is clean and well maintained, and has nice amenities. I have very much enjoyed living here for the past 5 months.

I called the apartment building today at about 3: 00pm and spoke to one of the agents in the leasing office to better understand renting opportunities. I was told that the initial price of 1600 had gone up to 1750. When I asked to understand how come the price had increased she rudely expressed that I was looking at the wrong building if I needed something more affordable. After her long and abrupt talk I asked her if she would be willing to calm down and have a constructive conversation so I could still see if there were opportunities to rent, unfortunately that did not help the matter. I hope the business owner reviews the recorded conversation and appoints more qualified employees to address questions.

Convenient location, close to TTC, grocery steps away, easy rent payment online, kind management. Recommend? - Yes!
