We walked in as a group of 8 (4 adults 4kids) and told it was 30-40min wait. While waiting we were then told that because we are a group of eight that there will be an additional 15% added to the bill because of issues they have with poor tippers when it comes to groups. We told them it’s two separate family bills but they wouldn’t waive the 15%. Poor business practice and maybe the poor tipping is a reflection of the long wait times and/or servers not providing adequate table service. I’m a notoriously good tipper (when deserved) so this was complete non sense that at Hubert forces patrons to leave a tip. Won’t be going back there again or even online ordering until they change this ridiculous policy. I’d also be curious to know if corporate knows of this or how the restaurant adds this 15% surcharge. I question the legalities of it
We absolutely love going to St. Hubert’s. It’s been a family favourite for a long time. We welcomed a new member of our family in January and they have welcomed us, chatted with us, played with our sweet girl and treated us like family at the restaurant! We adore all of the servers and they are wonderful and lovely!
Did not get buns or creamy coleslaw. That i asked for.when i got home i callef the restaurant and they were to send buns and the right coleslaw. WITCH NEVER HAPPENED
Left after waiting 45 mins, wait staff never came back after bring water and taking order. They weren't very busy lots of empty tables. We were busy chatting kinda lost track of time. We realized we wouldn't have time to eat (since we still had no idea when the food might actually arrive) and get to where we need to be. We let the waitress know we, leaving and she yell into kitchen to cancel our order. Sounded my they had even started to make my salad or my partners sandwich.
Very good food and excellent colslaw, I went in about an hour before closing. And the fries they gave me were hard Kind of disappointing for a $30 meal. But I guess that's what you get when you go in. Close to closing the cook, don't care. They don't want to make fresh fries, which is kind of disappointing the manager should be on top of that. I honestly was expecting that and I was right. But there really is no excuse for that. Other than that, it was a good meal. Friendly stuff, clean restaurant, worth checking out. But for the price, you should always get fresh food. Especially when you dine in checking out, you may or may not be disappointed.
The waitress Kelli was amazing. She elevated the experience exponentially. Dining there is usually just ok but Kelli made it awesome this most recent time. Thank you Kelli
Great place to eat, staff is super friendly, bar server Natalie is amazing as always! The bartender probably should tone her voice down a bit when it gets busy in there, and probably not slam things, and swear so much.
What is the point of ordering online and requesting your $100 order to be delivered at a specific time when they arrive 20 minutes early with your order and your guests have not even arrived as of yet! Never again will I order delivery from a restaurant that delivers according to their own schedule! Pitiful!
I had such a great dinning experience. Brianna served us and she was probably the best server ive ever had. She was super nice and my kids loved her. 10/10 will go back again while she is there
Very nice person who served. Food mediocre… not child friendly. Was not offered a children’s menu? Server tried to accommodate with other options… children only ate a small portion of their meal, rest of meal was wasted. Will not be going back to any of this chain’s restaurants.
The place has very good service, the food is good, they serve on time, very good portions but the taste is average… for the prices. I tried the chicken with French fries.
