I went with my grandma recently to look at this home. Beautiful home. I liked that the staff and that sales lady made us feel very welcome!

The reason I am giving it a 4 is because we wanted to meet some of the management, including the director of the home. While we were walking, someone tried to introduce us to her. She stopped and said she didn’t have time to meet with us. She didn’t even try to know our names. Then she walked away. My grandma felt really stupid and hurt. I hope this director isn’t like that to everyone.

I really love my life here. I run the tuck shop twice a week and I am honored to do so. I welcome new friends and visitors, please come and say hi.

My mother has been in this retirement home since mid- february as a result of medical issues and not willing to be living alone. The experience here has been a very rewarding and has relieved my concern with her living alone. I find the staff and the facility meets all that my mother needs and they are very caring and helpful. I visit on a regular bases and have alway had a feeling of easy and confidence that my mother is being cared for and in a very friendly atmosphere.

This has been a life changing experience for my mother and i am confident and get the feeling she has become comfortable in this atmosphere and adjusts each day to the friendship of other residents and the staff. I find the staff are open and willing to discuss changes and are all quite happy and positve in all dealings with the operation of the retirement home. Thanks to all.

As a resident of Brierwood Gardens Retirement Home, I feel qualified to post an opinion. It took me a few weeks to feel comfortable in my new surroundings. However, the exceptional staff soon become your new friends and go over and beyond what is expected of them. The rooms are very comfortable and are kept very clean. The meals are very healthy and the kitchen staff always attempts to satisfy your needs and wants.
The grounds are very beautiful and very well groomed, like living in a park. There are always birds and squirrels making their homes here too.
The Recreation staff offer a variety of activities, such as Fitness Classes and numerous social events. You can be as busy or as lazy as you want, it is up to you.
Also, there is also the spiritual needs of residents. As a Roman Catholic, I very much appreciate the weekly service.
I highly recommend Brierwood Gardens.
