My mother lived at Revera Prince of Wales Manor in Nepean for seven years until she passed away July 26th, 2023. During that time I had the opportunity to visit her on a weekly basis and get to know the staff. Each and every person I met working at PoW treated my mother with warmth, respect and kindness. The front desk staff always welcomed me with wonderful smiles. All of the staff in housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, administration, activites and the dining room enhanced the quality of my mother's life.
Miranda and her wonderful team of nurses provided excellent care to my mom and were always available to me for questions or concerns. They kept me well informed of any changes in her health and Miranda always followed up quickly. She is an excellent Director of Care. The team of personal support workers gave my mom such amazing patient, loving care every day.
Jennifer Holmes is an exceptional Executive Director and leads her team with professionalism and compassion. Her leadership shows in everyone on her team! To everyone that makes up Prince of Wales I give my heartfelt thank you! My mom was so fortunate to have you in her life.

Prince of Wales Manor continues to pleasantly surprise me. The atmosphere is lively, the meals we've had while visiting have been very good, and the resident care seems well-handled by a passionate team– a solid choice for those seeking a comfortable place to call home.

My mother stayed for a week respite. Fantastic service, affordable, accommodating. Highly recommend.

My mother had been living with us for the past 20 years until a bad fall sent her to the hospital, and then to rehab for 6 weeks. She was in bad physical and mental shape when she moved in to Revera Prince of Wales; she had great fears of moving into a retirement home. Two months later, she is doing extremely well, looks and feels younger than her 91 years of age, and is very happy in her new environment. A great part of the credit goes to the team at Revera!
Let me first start by stating that the rental procedure went very smoothly and that we did not feel pressured in any way. Revera held my mother's apartment empty for more than a month while they waited for her release from hospital, this at no extra cost to us, which we thought was remarkable. Revera also fixed at no cost some small damage we accidentally did to the drywall during the move.
Her apartment is spacious, with large windows, and cleaned weekly. We find the rent very reasonable. She finds the kitchen staff very friendly, and the nursing staff both friendly and helpful. She was immediately taken care of by the facility doctor as she had lost her own family doctor last year. The atmosphere within the facility is lively and friendly. She has taken advantage of the daily exercise classes that are offered (staff now comes to remind her if she is late for her class). Personnel address retirees on a first-name basis.
In conclusion, we (including most importantly my mother) are extremely pleased with our experience at Revera Prince of Wales. I have no hesitation highly recommending the facility.

From a family perspective we are very satisfied with the Prince of Wales manor. We have found the staff to be very attentive to our needs, communication has been excellent, open to discuss and address any concerns that arise and most importantly everyone is happy with a regular daily routine.

My Mom is a resident. The staff are all very helpful, patient and friendly. A BIG thank you to all the staff for everything that you do. There are several activities everyday which are well run.

Finding a residence for a family member is a very difficult process. The team at Revera made it easy. This was the second home we tried for my mom and it is definitely the right fit. The staff are kind and supportive. My mom likes the various activities and they have taken the time to understand her needs based on the changing medical situation. I appreciate that they are available to discuss the changing care plan with me and seem to care about my mom. She says she enjoys the variety of the meals, and how nice the people are and how clean it is.
