Don’t come here if you need your prescriptions refilled on time. They frequently do not fax in refills and will not contact you, you will have to follow up more than usual. They will also put the blame on you for not doing their job for them. They also have no tact when asking what your medication is for, and will even ask you to yell your medical condition across the pharmacy. Very unprofessional pharmacy and extremely frustrating and humiliating experience. We will no longer be using this pharmacy as it is not safe for the health of people on essential medication.

After months of sub-par and rude customer service (if you can even call it that), mixed with incorrectly submitting benefit claims (I've had to give them my benefit providers for each of my 4 family members every single time we have gone there, as if nothing saves on file), tonight was the last straw with this horrible pharmacy. I witnessed a senior citizen come back into the pharmacy and advise them that they gave him the wrong prescription in a different patient's name. He realized in his car, and let them know he's leaving the country tomorrow for the holidays, so good thing HE checked the accuracy of his prescription medication because the pharmacy sure didn't. While I realize people make mistakes, that's a lawsuit waiting to happen, and worst part is, they laughed it off. This all while I waited with my 4 year old for what should have been a quick pick-up after a prescription was sent by my doctor's office. They told me when I arrived it would be 20 minutes. When I went back 25 minutes later, I was told they would get working on the prescription. They were not busy, and spent more time gossiping and ignoring customers than anything else. When I vocalized my disappointment and let them know I'd be looking for a new pharmacy they wouldn't even acknowledge a word I said. All they did was stand there waiting for my $8 balance that was likely owing after another botched benefit claim through 2 providers that I'll likely now have to spend more time to remedy. I will never go to this pharmacy again, despite the convenient location, and I will discourage others from giving this place business as well.

Used to love this location for pharmacy as it is on my commute home but after years of worsening service like incorrect billing which lead to paying upfront then submit for reimbursement, not having the prescription in stock and not available for many days (thankfully requested it early!). I called shoppers which had it in stock, never looked back. Recently, a prescription from a specialist was automatically sent here as it wasn’t switched which OF COURSE wasnt in stock. Had it transferred to Shoppers which was filled within 20 minutes, total cringe

We've been using this pharmacy for about 2 years now and have nothing but problems. We have to give them our insurance info once every 3 months for every family member, one of the techs lied to us saying our insurance didnt work (younger gentleman), meanwhile the other girl said it wasn't in the system. RX's are never ready in a timely manner and they lose faxes from the Dr for an rx. This is constant. We will be switching pharmacies asap

Customer service in the pharmacy department needs to be improved. They are rude and talk to you like you owe them something! Would recommend going elsewhere!

So slow. They need a full day to fulfill routine prescriptions (5+ hour call time til arrival). We live around the corner from them and are switching to a pharmacy 10min drive away because Rexall can't have the Rx ready on time.

Wow - this place is expensive!
$2.50 for Halls cough drops (Dollarama or Walmart sell for $1.25)
For what I paid for 1 bottle of Nyquil Complete I could have got 2 bottles for the same price at Costco.
Yep - old lady cashier was grumpy and as slow as molasses.
Unless I need a postage stamp I have no reason to come here again.

Not the friendliest of pharmacy staff on the weekdays, there was a pharmacist in on some Sundays who I found to be very friendly. But they are also a very busy location so I can't blame them.

3 stars for the BeWell app for prescription renewal and such. Not very good at other things like finding non prescription medications, grocery items, cleaning products etc. Sent an email to ask how I'd find all these kinds of things except it didn't help asking.

This is for the fact the hours on the website for holidays are not accurate to in store (post office). Needs to be better communication between HO (if they set the hours/manage website) and store owner/manager so that information is accurate

Pharmacy is a Gong Show every time I try to get a prescription filled. Male pharmacist is very kind and helpful but the female is rude and will ignore customers leaving them to stand at the counter for ages. Totally unorganized and inefficient. Prescriptions rarely filled properly or on time with little to no apology. Highly recommend using another pharmacy over this one.

Pharmacy is The issue, I have no issues with the store itself. I’ve dealt with this pharmacy for years because of it’s convenient location. There always seems to be issues. I now call ahead to ensure my prescription is ready, all though they say it is, half the time when I arrive it isn’t. I never have luck here with benefits either. I’ve reached out numerous times to my insurance provider and it doesn’t seem to be their issue. Counter staff at the pharmacy always seem to be overwhelmed, which I can’t fault the employee for. But it shows in the way they handle their customers. I can’t help but leave feeling frustrated every time.

The lady at the cash register was coughing up a lung today - during a pandemic when coughing is a symptom of covid. The other staff members admit they aren't tested for covid regularly, and just say it's probably allergies and dismiss it. Absolutely appalling. People go to places like Rexall to pick up medicines, and the staff have loud, hacking coughs, and are endangering their customers. I will never shop here again. What a disgrace. One star only because I can't give negative stars.

There are 3-4 people working the desk, and it's always a hassle and/or a long wait to get any service because half the staff is unavailable or hiding. You ask the person at the desk for tracked mailing and they look at you like you just wounded them, like come on, you're making money, shows some enthusiasm and tell me what the options are.

I'm not going to tell you what to choose, but the post office in Stanley Park mall has 1 dude doing:
1. Retail sales for his shop/business
2. Passport photos and documentation
3. Canada Post location with mail in/out plus PO boxes
And he's dealing with far greater volume of foot traffic without anyone waiting that long, he has an upbeat attitude and always is nice to customers.

Rexall centre needs to put some hustle in.

If I could leave a ZERO I would! The pharmacy is completely incompetent and have a very bad attitude (even when being patient and nice). I have been waiting for 4 days for a time sensitive prescription for my wife who just gave birth. They have told me 4 different stpries and are trying to get me to pay for an imcomplete prescription. They are showing no regard to limiting trips out while i habe a baby with no immune system. And considering the current world situation, one would think that this would be number 1 concern. VERY DISSAPOINTED

Was at the store and saw employees open a new box of hand sanitizer. Instead of making these available to customers, the employees all took armloads for themselves. Went to the front of the store to get a bottle and they person said they don’t have anymore, and that she didn’t think employees were supposed to be taking them.

Called corporate to tell them; they called the manager and he said the employees took them to put them in front of the store, which was a fabrication because they didn’t have any in front.

The manager then told corporate he was able to find one single bottle and that they’d hold it for me.

Shame on the Rexal manager for allowing his employees to do this.

2 of the post office staff have been very rude to me on 2 different occasions and should probably get some customer service training and realise that customer's are the reason that they have a job. I will not return. Shoppers Drug Mart post office now gets my business, great job post office staff!

Rude staff. I was trying to tell her what the situation was and she was talking over me. She said she was the manager which I doubt or she would probably not have been so rude to a customer. This will be the last time I fill a prescription at this location!

Rude pharmacist.don't waste your time to send anything here just take it to shoppers where they are on the ball and not snarky. Having read other reviews, it has become clear their pharmacy is disorganized and not welcoming.

I called them on Wednesday to get my dads pills they said that It would be sent out on Thursday call my dad yesterday he said that he didn't get his pills yet so I called them back yesterday and I was told that they where not ready yet and they don't have a driver to take them out till this Wednesday so now I have to drive in to kitchener this morning to pick up my dads pills and take them to him on the other side of kitchener then drive back home to Cambridge

Never had a problem with Fredrick but the woman can be moody she is either super nice and helpful or won't give you the time of day. Over all the hours are great most of the time they can have what you need ready in a reasonable amount of time. We will continue to use this pharmacy and I do recommend it

I recently switched to this pharmacy due to location and it was such a nightmare I have had my file switched to another pharmacy after 2 weeks. I dropped off a prescription for an inhaler and was told the wait was over an hour so I returned another day to pick this up. My first visit to pick up a prescription I was told my benefit coverage had been terminated by my employer. I was anxiously trying to figure out what was going on and eventually found out they had inputted information wrong. They asked me to do a MedsCheck and I told them I had just completed that 2months prior at my previous pharmacy so I declined.

I returned a 2nd time to pick up a refill. I was given a cost for it but I reminded them I have insurance and it should be covered as it always has been. Staff looked into my file and stated that I had requested to be given only name brand medications which is not covered. I have never asked for this so told them to correct it and provide me with the medication that is covered by my insurance as usual. It took some time to correct this but I finally received my usual covered medication. I was then asked again to do the MedsCheck which I had declined 2 weeks prior. After several stressful frustrating visits I am no longer dealing with this pharmacy.

Switched from my previous pharmacy to Pharma Plus a few years ago. It's been a total nightmare since.

Multiple situations where there was conflicts, or just total frustration. Many times I have waited 20+ minutes for someone to acknowledge me at the counter, even though they make eye contact with me. Most of the pharmacist are rude and ignorant, only few are pleasant.

It's always a complete drag going in, because you know it's going to take you 30+ to pick up your prescription. When in reality, it should only take a few minutes.

What has set me off the most, and why I'll never return is because the operator when ordering prescription said it would send a fax to my doctor for more of my prescription (keep in mind, I am advised by my doctor that I am NOT allowed to be off my medication). This is a common thing where the operator says it will send a fax to my doctor, and I'll wait a few days and call my doctor and he has never received it yet, so I will call the pharmacy and talk to someone, and THEY say they will send the fax to my doctor, so I wait another few days (approximately I wait until I have 2 weeks of medication left, then order more, ASSUMING I will have more medication by then.) then I go to the pharmacy, HOPING they have sent the fax, and my prescription is ready, but THEY NEVER SENT THE FAX.

I get it, it's 2018.no one uses a fax, then call the doctor or shoot an email.

Most recently, and this was the last straw and why I went back to my original pharmacy (I left in the first place because my new insurance had some kind deal with any Pharma Plus pharmacy). I have been on the same birth control for 5 years, never had an issue getting a refill for my birth control, because simply. It's BIRTH CONTROL. I called to get a refill when I was near my period (the usual when I would call for a refill for it), and the operator said I had no more refills available, and had to contact my doctor? This was a total shock because I never had this issue getting my birth control before, but had experience this with my other medications. I talked to my doctor and he said there shouldn't be any reason as to why I needed to confirm with him/ask him for more of a refill. He also mentioned to me that I didn't need to make appointments with him to get more refills every time, and that in the past he's allowed the pharmacy to give me 3 refills before needing to see him.which I was NEVER aware of. And I'm assuming Pharma Plus just ignored any information from my doctor.

Overall, very poor communication issues with the pharmacy. Not helpful whatsoever, too much back and forth with the pharmacy and the doctor, both pointing fingers at each other. Was just a total chaos, and a waste of time.
