The self check-out machine couldn't show the right discounted price and I had to ask the cashier, the cashier woman named Margienette was very rude, impatient and even hostile, which ruined my day, so why don't I choose shoppers? At least their staff would say hello.

One of the Pharmacist at this location is an absolute delight. He doesn't just issue prescriptions, but also gives you as much information as possible so you're well informed. Something you'd expect from your family doctor.

I am a person with a invisible disability and the staff clearly are not trained on the AODA Accessibility for Ontarins with Disabilities Act law. As a person with a invisible disability this is extremely concerning and unacceptable in 2023 AODA has been around for 17 years and it is the law that needs to be fully followed by business in Ontario.

Very subpar customer service. Simple refund for unopened product that was wrongly recommended by the store took 20 minutes. Much better to get it at shoppers drug mart or another pharmacy

Fast check out and extra points when paid by RBC credit card. But, most of the cashiers carried unhappy faces, not yet dirty faces. Not a friendly environment at ground level. Second level Pharmacy Dept.is gorgeous and nice friendly pharmacists.

The female security guard with short hair follows you around the store as if you're a thief. And then looks over your shoulder as you do self checkout. What an unpleasant experience. I will not be returning to Rexall. Should've gone to a Shoppers instead.

Two Level Store. Upper Level got Prescription Drugs, All other Medications & Vitamins, Oral Care Products, Office supplies, Washroom Cleaning Items, and Greetings cards. Street level got Perfume, Food Section, ATM at Entrance, Sweet & Snacks, LOTTO Products and Makeup & Hair Products. Great Customer Service and Friendly Staff. Also good location at Spadina Avenue and College Street. Eligible purchase, use your Be well card gives Be Well points.

This review is for the Rexall pharmacy located on second floor. I want to start by saying I've always had pleasant experiences at other Rexall locations. Where if the pharmacist could spare a few minutes, some of them would even come over to the OTC aisles and help you out, explain the differences between brands, dosages, etc. I've called as well as visited in person at this location (College & Spadina), encountering two different pharmacists. They were short and dismissive towards me, and didn't offer clear instructions unless I pressed for answers. Didn't seem like they wanted to be there and wanted you gone ASAP. Not sure what the issues are, I hope there will be changes soon.

Pharmacy is understaffed and a mess. Takes days to fill very simple scripts, and the corporate "notification" system is broken (I wouldn't bother signing up for it). They often have to be prodded/pressed to process your order, even if it's time sensitive and physiologically critical. Dangerous bordering on negligent. Not the staff's fault - corporate has left them in the wind from what I can tell.

My recent visit was with my ESA dog.

I'd like to note that: And ESA dog, while important and very real, is *not* a service animal and therefore it is only reasonable to obey store signage that indicate no "pets" - - ESA simply means a pet is more important to me as a person (these days, until laws broaden a tad)

I called ahead for permission to come in with my ESA to get my medication. Through miscommunication, or general confusion, I arrived to be rejected at the door as if I had not called - I would like to at this point stress, that no employee was being unreasonable in this stance/position. The only frustration was that I was coming in thinking everyone was permissive and briefed after my courtesy phone call ahead of time. I was also agreeing and offering many alternatives to no avail - it was a situation becoming more about "them against me" rather than "how can we work together in this moment? " - - - I needed my meds, but I couldn't leave my dog alone or be without her.

The manager came down, and she was immediately receptive and understanding. I was ultimately able to get my prescription and leave quickly. Let me stress again, that the outstanding service I had from the manager does not imply that the other employees were any less professional, my point is:

There is rigidity in systems and rules - even when the rules are good and make sense. Rigidity in systems and rules lack humanity.

The manager coming down and helping me on this visit was the humanity in the machine on this day - I think that EVERY day, we meet a person or have a situation that reminds us of human kindness, and this review is about that day's reminder.

It is tremendously humiliating and embarrassing for me to be dependent on a dog; I was panicking, and vulnerable, and what really helped me that day was a manager using common sense, and making a reasonable compromise with my visit (which nobody at Rexall owed me, or was obliged to give me)

A great visit!

I called from 2: 50pm on 1st of May and the woman there was picking up my call rudely then hanging up three times.

I want to give zero star to the pharmacy here. The Indian lady keeps herself busy on the phone and ignoring physical customer waiting there for half an hour. I was also told to wait for another hour to get my medicine while no one was in front of me. Poor service

This place was a go to until citymarket n fresco are now both close by these people are actually using the products then put it on the selves n sell them at discount this isn't the 1st time I bought cookies they refunded it this one was worst because my wife bought 2 of them one worked well the next one completely empty bull****!

Great customer service! Joey was there to help price check a discounted Christmad item and even added another discount at cash. Very friendly associates!

I was initially here around Dec 2018 and it looked like a relatively new store. Open 24h.

I came back Jan 2020. It still looks new (which is a good thing). There are 2 floors: pharmacy at the top level and foods and cosmetics on the ground floor. Use an escalator between floors.

I saw 3 self-checkout stations which I've never seen at any other Rexall that I've visited.

Employee checking out on Saturday sept 21 at around 3: 30 Connie was extremely arrogant and rude in demeanor.

No charge on prescriptions with UofT insurance while other pharmacies charge me $8.26. Awesome place!

Been here a few times and they were mediocre, nothing special. Relatively fast so I usually just wait there. But pharmacists r very cold and cannot care less. Had a prescription for a wrist splint. Was told to buy one n the pharmacist did not know what the prescription was saying. Insisted on me having carpal tunnel syndrome which I do not, and kept saying splints are expensive. Yeah. I know. That’s what a prescription and insurance are for.

Some great deals to be had if you look hard enough. 2 floor setup can be a bit awkward but otherwise a nice shop.

Pharmacy staff are incredibly poor at serving customers. Many experiences of long waits. One particular experience: went in for a flu shot and filled out the paperwork. Then sat and waited for twenty minutes while the person served other customers who kept coming in to pick up prescriptions despite having someone else assisting behind the counter.

There was a episode on the fifth estate where they are exposing pharmacist who buy their diplomas. Great example: dave (who no longer works there) screw up so many times on narcotic drugs and put lethal amounts by mistake. Another one who works there is this short chubby black woman who uses reverse racism and treats certain customers like garbage. I think she is from Nigeria. It seems like this pharmacy hires anybody. Very sad.: (

Experience here was great. Friendly service and very clean premises. Having the pharmacy downstairs was also super convenient! Would definitely go back.

Very marked up prices on their products (ex. Aveeno lotion $30.99 vs $19.99 online). Supposed to have a 10% student discount on Tuesdays, but each time I'm asked if I have a student card and I show it to the cashier, they never apply the discount. I think I'll just stick with Shoppers Drug Mart.

Very hard to find things. Staff are MIA.

The most redeeming quality this Rexall store has going for it is it's convenient location (College+Spadina). I've noticed a pattern here though regarding the selection of merchandise. And that is said lightly; it could really use some work. Some items which are "sold out" may remain so seamingly indefinitely. Another good point about this location is that there are usually some pretty decent sales going on. But back to my previous point, if you see an item you want; better to buy it then because "going, going, gone".
