Got very bad experience yesterday. I got my injection yesterday and asked the person after counter I had a new prescription sent to here. She said it will be ready for tomorrow, but it is Prednisone which can not be stopped suddenly. So they transferred me to nearest pharmacy. The funny thing was that they transferred a wrong prescription to new pharmacy. Gave me another injection. I was there around 4pm and finally got my correct drug around 10pm.

DO NOT go to this location! The pharmacy manager “RIA” is very poor, unprofessional, rude and should not be working with the public. Extremely poor customer service. I’m beyond disgusted with the service “RIA” provided in the pharmacy!

Dropped off a prescription after getting a tooth pulled and tried to tell the pharmacist I would come back that night. She insisted it would be ready in 20 minutes or less and that I would receive a text message when it was ready. I said ok. 40 minutes later I walked into the pharmacy and was told it would be another ten minutes. I asked if she was sure. She started yelling that I was disrespectful/entitled, ranting about 'you try doing my job' and so on.

I don't recommend this pharmacy for your prescription needs. Pharmacist is judgemental, rude, unhelpful and harsh. I suggest finding another pharmacy. Edit- reading through other reviews it seems I've had the same female pharmacist other people are complaining about.

Pharmacy never answers the phone. No care given to patients, always incorrectly billing or not even following up with refill requests.

I needed a medicine cup for my medication and asked the pharmacist if they have one I can purchase. Not only she was rude but, she was reluctant to give me one at all. There is a lot of other options in this neighbourhood for pharmacies.

This is by far THE ABSOLUTE WORST Rexall pharmacy and I have tried the Shoppers (@Heron & @Walkley)

I have 10 years experience working in a pharmacy and have never seen terrible service like this, not even on our worst day.

1) They NEVER answer the phone
2) Over billing almost every time and have to wait half an hour for them to correct it
3) There is one particular pharmacist who is so rude. Just so so rude. She gets flustered very easily making additional errors. She snaps at both the staff and the customers. She cannot articulate the issue and just repeats the same thing over and over and over again not being able to explain any other way that would make sense. She even wears earbuds while working which explains why the phone is never answered. You will know the one I am talking about if you have been there
4) I refill my RX's at least a week in advance. I am never notified when there is an issue until I show up which has led to me missing multiple doses
5) There is never enough staff filling prescriptions littleown working the drive thru/phones/customer inquiries
6) I try to be proactive and call in advance to make sure everything is ready and billed correctly but they never answer. EVER!

It is not all staff, they definitely have a few folks in the pharmacy/front shop/post office that are helpful and pleasant to deal with. Unfortunately, in this case, the negative far far outweighs the positive.

The pharmacy staff are obviously overworked and understaffed. I have no issues with the staff themselves but there is a ton of delay with getting prescriptions. I'd recommend people to go other pharmacies.

Store front staff are very nice and helpful but a woman at the pharmacy was very rude and abrupt when I asked for advice regarding an eye infection. I will not use that pharmacy again.

Three broken ribs. Doctor says get Tylenol #1. They have a bit of codeine.

The technician, was on her way to get me some and the pharmacist stopped her. He told me they didn't have any. I explained my situation. He said "go see your doctor". Told him that I did and it was his recommendation. He says "you'll need to go to a pharmacy then" what? I am in a pharmacy.

He repeats "Go see your doctor"

I was treated like a junky. Everyone was looking at me. Never been so insulted and shamed in my entire life.

Now I'm angry! I will never spend another dime at this location.

My favourite store is the walkley and heron store. Nadia is my cosmetician, she is very knowledgeable in makeup, she is always helpful in helping me choose the right cosmetics for me. Thank you Nadia for all your help!

They never answer the phone and take forever to notify you that your medication is ready when they do get to it. I don’t recommend. It’s a fight to get your medication!

The pharmacy staff are absolutely amazing. Friendly, courteous and attentive. The nurse that does the injections is one of the best I've encountered and I've seen a few.
As for the store they have a great selection of products and its very well laid out.

Today i have been there for my flu shot. My appointment was at 11 o’clock in the morning. I am totally disappointed with my experience. Staff is very unprofessional, Pharmacist (Adebisi) does not have any idea what she is doing. She is giving flu shot/covid booster without getting proper confirmation from the clients and she gave a flu shot and a covid booster dose to one customer at same time, where as these two vaccines never suppose to be given at same time, threre suppose to be gap between two vaccines. First she gave wrong medication to client and when she noticed she is in trouble she put all the blame on her Assisstant who did nothing wrong.

Nice location, and they usually have everything I need.

However on Dec. 5th around 3pm I was delivering a package. The line was long, but I've worked in customer service for 5 years, so I was patient.

When I got to the front, he said I had to fill in a form online because the package was international. That was fine with me. He said I could do it now on the side, or come back tomorrow. I said I'll do it now and wait in line again.
He said he was closing in 50minutes, which was more than enough time. I said ok, and when I went to fill the form, he mutters 'really. '

I didn't appreciate trying to be guilt tripped.

So I filled in the form, waited in line again, and when I got to the front again he was complaining the whole time. He said if he could punch through the screen he would.

Not sure if this guy was having a bad day, or if someone needs to give him other errands to do around the store, but I was disappointed with his attitude.: (

The pharmacy manager got upset with me when I asked her if she would put on fresh gloves before giving me a flu shot. The one she was wearing had already been worn while dealing with several customers at the the cash, to use the cash register, to use the keyboard in the flu shot room and to adjust her mask a dozen+ times. According to her, it was offensive for me to ask her to do put on new ones to do the shot. Disappointing!

The slowest drive thru pharmacy. You're always going to wait 10-15minutes minimum for someone to stop what they're doing and come to the window to help you so you may as well just go inside.

A couple weeks ago I bought a $50.00 Home Depot Gift card as a gift for my brother Frank. The very next day he went to Home Depot to spend his $50.00 card on much needed supplies to fix his home. To his surprise the attendant told him that the card had been tampered with and that there was no more money on the card. “Impossible “ he said, “My sister bought it the day before at your store”. And that he would have to go to Rexall for refund. When he contacted your store, the Manager replied that it was not his problem and that Rexall had no way of knowing if it had money on the card or not. Well, he had to put a police report on your store. And he also entered a not too friendly review online. Upon receiving this one star review with explanation, the Manager wrote back to him to tell him to go back to Rexall on Walkley Road Ottawa Ontario. The money would be refunded to him. But, my brother was so angry at the way he was treated at your store that he said to forget the money and all the trouble the Management gave him and to stick the money in their… (word omitted). I, also, was so angry because I’ve been a regular customer of this Rexall for more than eight years and will NEVER buy anything else at any Rexall in Canada. My brother has the receipt and told me that it is “His Loss” but in reality it is “ME” who is the loser because I took my hard earned money to do something good for someone else. I just wanted to vent my own disappointment in a store that I trusted to be honest and not sell tampered on the shelves Gift Cards. You should keep ALL the Gift cards behind the counter. I don’t expect any good response to this review but at least I explained the situation in my very own words. Now, you have to deal with a Police Report Rexall selling tampered stolen gift cards money. Thank you. October 9th, 2021.

The customer care here is terrible.
I bought a product and a customer care told me that I can return it if it doesn’t do the job as expected. Yesterday, when I returned it the lady who were there evenings told me that she is going to refuse it and asked me to come back today. When she was removing the item in its bag she destroyed the bag and I immediately told her to do not say that it’s me. She took a photo of it together with the receipt and asked me to come today.when I came back today around 2: 30 pm as she told me yesterday, they said again to come back after the lockdown. What a shame game is this. Is this how you treat your customers, instead of helping us you are punching us back as if you don’t hold my money that needs to be refunded? The three ladies looked at the item they were about to process the return then said she is going yo refuse it.
I let the item there. And you have my contact on the receipt. Please refund. It just doesn’t make sense how could promise something and then mistreat your customers.
This is just ridiculous. You can not impose something that you didn’t tell the customer when he/she was buying. You should accomplish your obligations. Even when I left the item, she said I will lose my money and she will resell the item. That’s her this the best answer. Yesterday she refused the item and saying she told to the manager and now she was the manager. That’s how they get you tired in other to surrender you right as consumers.

Pharmacy staff is a nightmare. Rude, unprofessional and lazy! Constantly put on hold for periods of 20+ minutes, they play yoyo with u while on the phone.constantly misplaces my prescription after ive refilled them. Prescriptions also suddenly go "missing " on my file when i have records that show i still should have some.very unprofessional behavior going on there.

I like this location. They are good with Covid regulations, the staff are friendly. The store has a good flow, never feels overcrowded. The Be Well app is really good too.

The worst ever pharmacy service, very unprofessional and impolite
Very very rude pharmacists and team, poor customer service, worst management, never answered phones, no answering machine or voicemail, pharmacists upset customers and shout at them in very rude manners
Pharmacy manager is very rude worse than other pharmacy team
