Reyna on King

Nice brunch spot on the weekend and great ambiance. Their baklava French toast was my absolute favorite. The short ribs grilled cheese was high up there, too, with the cheese melting right in your mouth. Also had their shakshuka, not a fav, but it was still decent. Recommend the Spanish fries for sure!
Will definitely visit again.

Positives:
Nice atmosphere and excellent food! Flavours, sides and sauces are very well done and all of the meat was cooked perfectly. Service was good.

Downsides:
It was very loud unfortunately (great music but was hard to have a conversation with the people at my table). Better for a date or small group of people rather than a big group (5 or more) as the restaurant is on the smaller side too.

Amazing atmosphere with top notch service from very chill staff. Great music and excellent food too. The Reyna Salad is exceptional and the Pistachio Baklava dessert simply to die for. Highly recommend this one, I'll be back, even if it's just for a beverage and dessert.

Love the ambience of this place and the service. Have been wanting to go here from a long time. The food was great for the most part. You’ll enjoy the lovely drinks too I would totally recommend this restaurant.

What a gem. Attentive (but not overly), helpful staff; and the flavours in the food were amazing. All but one plate wowed us.and that one was good but not special. The restaurant was the highlight of our evening.

The food is absolutely amazing! Drinks will get you drunk and the service was out of this world.

Outstanding food and service. The vibes here are immaculate. I highly recommend the group menus for 8 or more people. The food came out so fast and was delicious. High quality dishes all around.
Drinks were fantastic. The menu boasts a lot of Mediterranean dishes and modern cocktails.
They played latin music and some old school hip hop which we loved. There is parking in the area and its TTC accessible. Special thanks to Carrie and the team for being so accommodating and welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Went for brunch on Sunday with two other people, two of us had the eggs benedict and the other had the grilled cheese. I say these are brunch classics that are reinvented in the most delicious way possible. Everyone at our table loved their meal. We also had very tasty cappuccinos. Very convenient paid parking lot right across the street. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend!

This place exceeded our expectations. First of all, we were late as a party, and also just probably annoying customers (group of 6 coming from wedding dress shopping). The staff was super understanding and kind (thank you DOM for your amazing service). We ordered brunch on a time crunch, and everything came very fast, and so yummy. We even had espresso martinis that were unreal. Can’t wait to come back!

It was one of my favorite places in July I visited it and the food was perfect, I celebrated my birthday there this month (November) and something definitely changed, the taste is not the same, it doesn't compare to what it was before, they changed the menu and the food a bit I didn't like it this time, the dessert too, it tasted totally different, maybe they changed their cooks but it would be amazing if they go back to what it was before, because the food use to be amazing!
The service is excellent no complaints about it!

Came over for brunch. I enjoyed the vibe of the place the most. The food was definitely on the decent side. Can’t say I was a fan of any of the dishes. I found the salmon board a bit overpriced and the salmon itself not very fresh. I would’ve enjoyed more small shareable dishes on the menu like in the Mediterranean. Shakahuka felt quite spicy but the fries were delicious.

Anything with the word baklava on the menu was excellent. Not many items but good variety on the menu and the service was great. Ambience/vibe was great too. Got one cocktail, 4 dishes and a dessert for $145 after tax and tips

Honestly, I’m impressed!
Not just by the cool interior and hanging plants from the ceiling that makes you feel you are in a tropical forest, or their friendly service, but the food is absolutely amazing.

We had cauliflower, chicken tacos and lamb baklava. Lamb baklava is to die for.

Lamb shank Benny was very bland. The baklava French toast was quite nice and not too sweet. Short rib grilled cheese was just fine not too good not bad. Overall all portions were small. Anyone with a hearty appetite should stay away!

I was here just over a week ago and served by Shelayna. Both her and the bartender were so lovely and made the experience event better. The food and drinks kicked it up to overall the best night with friends that I have had in a while. We ordered a variety of martinis that were all delicious. We shared a tasting platter and dips along with the calamari. As it was a Sunday night it was fairly chill inside, which we personally love as we annoyingly snap photos and laugh a bit too loud.: p Thank you Reyna team, we will definitely be back! Please open in the west end <3

Brunch:

Ambiance: there is no doubt this place is aesthetically appealing & unique. Ceiling covered in greenery, vibrant furniture to match the surroundings. High table tops, bar seating and much more comfortable intimate seating. Its alot smaller than one would assume but they make best usage of the space. Overall a great vibe!

Food: tried the salmon board, avacado toast and croquettes madame. The avacado wasnt ripped so that was a bit unpleasant. Otherwise everything else was fairly delicious. Paired the dishes with the greek and Italian fries, these were really thin slice of potatoes and actually were very good. I read other reviews which indicated that the food was not worth the price. I think the portions were decent.
Tried a few different mocktails.nothing to rave about.

Service: very attentive, the food came in a timely manner.

Overall will return to try the dinner menu

The service TOOK literally AN HOUR to bring out a plate of ceviche. We also ordered a shawarma platter which we found out after an hour that it was going to take even more time because they had to ORDER CHICKEN FROM A GROCERY STORE. I wish they had told me this earlier before I HAD to WAIT FOR AN HOUR. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this place, don't let the ambiance deceive you.

Some of the best food in the city. Spnish inspired tapas with a Mediterranean twist. The price point is slightly above average but it's worth it for the quality and unique flavours offered by Renya. Cute place. Thanks Brittany for the great service!

My friend and I are at two tables and they can choose their own percentage of tips. We were charged 18 percent of tips mandatory by the restaurant. Never come back again!

I have been to many restaurants in Toronto, but never had this good service from any of them. Staff is just amazing. Really good food and really good place to have to some Mediterranean food.

Had an Amazing time tonight! We had a surprise bridal shower but all the others ended up being late. The waitress gave us shots while we wait. Then when everyone finally came she gave us advice about the size of each dish, if we should order more, etc.we even asked them to suggest mocktails based on our preferences and they made fantastic mocktails. Overall, a fantastic time and the food was delicious!

Just okay…nothing too amazing and not worth the price point.the cauliflower and manchego bites were AMAZING but everything else fell short.labneh was too sour, calamari was slightly soggy and fries were alright too

Went back to Reyna over the weekend, in addition to their amazing staff, cocktails, and menu, I can't but give a huge thank you to the chef, we ordered dessert which was apparently out of stock that day, the chef came to our table and prepared something for us that's inspired by what we originally ordered and it was delicious! It's always nice when they go above and beyond for an amazing service. Will definitely go back.

Got fries and the Reyna salad to share with a friend. The salad is loaded with a huge mix of flavours, textures, crunchy, smooth, tangy. The falafels too! Those fries stay crispy the entire meal. Def need to include this spot in your brunch catalogue.

Loved the brunch items at Bar Reyna. The dungeness crab benedict and braised shortrib grilled cheese sandwich were delicious. If you prefer sweet, then definitely get the baklava French toast. The Spanish skinny fries was also tasty and filling. Overall great food with friendly waitstaff.

After calling an Uber from the Reyna on bloor, I had arrived here to meet friends for lunch.

The atmosphere is different but the service is amazing at both. This location is smaller than the one on bloor.

I ordered the avocado salad which was really nice! All the ingredients in the salad went well together and balanced the flavours. I also ordered a Reyna sangria which was really nice, although I shouldn’t have chugged it.

My friend ordered the grilled cheese which she said was really good too!

The prices moderate to on the higher end. Their drink menu is a vibrant storybook. Even if you don’t drink, it’s fun to read and look through.

This was my first visit at the King St location. I made a reservation for Sunday brunch on Open Table. Upon arrival we were greeted promptly. My first impression - I loved the ambience and decor. The restaurant was really cozy and quaint. We all three ordered the crab benny and we loved it! It was such a unique take on egg benny. We also had a side of fries which were also delicious. The service was also amazing! Our server Yas was really nice and we were not rushed at all. I would definitely go back!

One of the cutest restaurant in Toronto. I cant believe it took me months to come and see this beautiful place.the place is absolutely amazing.their food menu is really small but what we ordered were absolute delicious.

Nerissa the Manager was amazing - I was celebrating a huge promotion and she went out of her way to adjust the timing of my reso. The cauliflower bravas, lebanese tacos, manchego croquettes and eggplant tostadas were AMAZING and the King's Heir cocktail was perfection. I would definitely return - service was of the highest caliber, the decor was gorgeous and the flavours fantastic.

Absolutely a beautiful place! From the decor, to the glassware, service, food and drinks! It’s definitely worth the visit for anyone close to the city. We tried various appetizers and mains on the menu, during a nice Saturday evening, and I would have to say that everything was just perfect. It's a perfect spot for a date night or a small family get-together. You won't be disappointed as it's a hidden gem in the city.

Absolutely loved this place! Went for brunch with a friend and we both cannot wait to go back. We had the Baklava French Toast and the Avocado Toast along with some lattes. Nice place to go for a drink. Cocktails were nice but the food was bit steep for the portion. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Interior design is just amazing! It doesn’t have many seats/tables but it’s cozy and comfort. I love how they decorate the ceiling.

Sexy & fun vibe. Great place to get a properly made cocktail - with a solid tapas menu to match. Bartenders and servers singing and entertaining. Exactly what an 'off-the-beaten-path' bar/lounge should be.

Cute cocktails! Tried their silk road treasure which was quite delicious. Their fries selection is interesting. Pretty spot to grab cocktails and a quick bite!

Terrible food. My first time ever writing a review for anything but I had to write it. I ordered 7 different menus which came to $100 shared amongst 4 people. We all left the place literally starving and the quality of food was terrible period. I am not picky at all with food but I will never ever come back to this bar. Only go there if you want drinks. I wonder if the chef knows how to season any food. No seasoning, under-cooked.

One of the waiter got our drinks order, and never came back with the drink. Turns out he forgot about it. Terrible experience.

Reyna is King! Isabella made us wonderful cocktails in a timely manner and the other servers engaged in witty banter with my friend and I. The ceiling is rich with foliage creating a lush verdant ambiance which is so rare in frigid Toronto. Highly recommend ask for the queen bee.

Super cute place. I ordered a bunch of food to try (halloumi, octopus, sea bream crudo, croquette, lamb pogo, lamb baklava). It was all tasty but portions are quite small. Drinks were interesting but took a long time to get because there was only one bartender. I went on a hot and humid night. Windows were open so there was no AC or a fan on and it got uncomfortably hot inside. That said, I'd go back - a nice local spot.

Absolutely loved the vibe at Reyna on King. I've gone twice now, once sat at the table by the open window and the other at the bar- very comfy bar stools! Such a nice atmosphere and delicious food. We got the Spanish fries both times and they are to die for. Bartender is really friendly and made us a really yummy cocktail:)

Will definitely be coming here regularly.

Amazing place with very attentive staff that are fun to talk to! Teresa and Isabella (hope I spell the names correctly, forgive me if I don't) are the very best, they make me want to pass by the place every time I am on my way home! Keep it up)

Beautiful decor, amazing cocktails & food, service was awesome and great vibe! Cauliflower croquettes were unreal and loved that Nerissa created us cocktails based on our tastes! Definitely one of my new fav places:)
