I just bought a pizza from Ricardo's and it was as good as I remember when I used to buy my pizza from them back in the 80's. Delicious!

From step through the door to the final greetings simply the best experience when ordering pizza! What a friendly, funny and generous human Ricardo is! The all meat pizza was loaded with excellent meat and cheese! Bravo! Amazing taste.

Now, I've had a lot of pizza in my life (don't judge me, we all have our hobbies) but nothing, and I mean NOTHING, quite compares to a Ricardo's pizza. The crust is so perfectly thin and crispy, I'm convinced it's made by angels in their spare time. The sauce? Sweeter than a grandmother's compliment and richer than that uncle we all wish we had.

As for the toppings, oh boy! It's like they took all the best parts of a farmer's market, a butcher's shop, and a gourmet cheese fair, had a party and invited them all to hang out on a pizza.

The service at Ricardo's? Let's just say they treat you so well; you'll start to question if you are, in fact, a long-lost member of the Ricardo family.

In conclusion, if your life feels like it's missing that extra bit of pizzazz, get yourself down to Ricardo's Pizza. Ordered delivery over the holidays, food was good, we had wings, poutine, onion rings and pizza - everything was super hot and fresh when it arrived. Pizza was very filling, heavy on the toppings. Poutine was amazing. The food came really quick too. And I can’t say enough about the customer service. Super friendly, from the person on the phone to the delivery driver. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent pizza. I have 3 different kinds and all were good. Staff members are friendly and prices are reasonable. XL can feed 4 if you’re not too hungry but my brother and I can finish one because it’s delicious. I’ll be back again soon.

Met the owner himself, a very friendly and warm person. Not mention the pizza, the cheese was so good and all the toppings melt together in a bite. A recommended restaurant and a must eat pizza when you are in Ottawa!

The best wraps anywhere. I've gone 3 times now and it's always great. They use a pizza dough instead of a regular bread. My only complaint is the menu isn't updated for the current prices. It was $10 for a wrap, not $8.75. Chicken ceaser is good and so is the Greek wrap. Will definitely be trying everything on the menu

While you might expect excellent pizza from a place that's been around as long as this one, the surprise is that everything I've ordered from here is fantastic. We regularly get the 1/4 BBQ Chicken Platter, and it's always delicious and the fries are crisp and hot. Probably helps that we're only a few blocks away.
The Caesar Salad is just as good, with chicken or without.

No frills pizza joint but it does what it does well: fast food style, thick crust pizza with ample toppings.

I you come to Ottawa, you must eat here! The pizzas are delicious and the owner is really kind. While we were waiting, he talked with us and give us a few advices for our trip. You need to eat there (I choose the Ricardo’s special and it was excellent)

Best pizza place in all of Ottawa! I have lived here all my life and have tried every pizzeria I can find, the rest don't even compare to this place. Their food is absolutely amazing, I have tried almost everything on the menu so far and I have not been disappointed. The service is also fantastic, the people are great to talk to! During pick-up orders, I have not waited more than 15 minutes and deliveries are fast and quick as well! The taste is absolutely amazing, everything is made in shop from the dough to the sauce to the cheese, all ingredients are cut fresh daily and the orders are made right in front of you! What more could you ask for! You can call in and place an order for pick-up or delivery

Update: their poutine is to die for with the gravy made in-house!

Great take out! Pizza is good, but my favorite is the deluxe steak sub. A regular stop for us on the way home from skiing on the Quebec side.

AMAZING! In a country full of ashton, mcdonald, tim horton etc etc, this is the first place that I found in canada with personality and incredible good food. I'm only sad that they are in Ottawa and not in Quebec city

Ordered from here for the first time and I'll never get my pizza from anywhere else again! Little pizza paradise. I loved the generous toppings on the pizza, the dough and pizza sauce are delicious (upon chatting with one of the employees, I discovered the dough and sauce are made in-house along with their gravy and other things). The cheese is a delicious blend that melts oh so perfectly. I'm getting hungry again for their pizza just writing this. I had gotten a side of chicken wings and fries that were both incredibly tasty. Their wings were WAY better than the fake tasting stuff you find at other places. I had gotten them with BBQ sauce which was just great all around. I have an obsession with fries and let me tell you.these fries were deliciously nice and crispy.you can bet that my next order is going to involve their poutine with that homemade gravy I heard about not to forget those wraps with that homemade fresh dough!

Used to be a regular customer, but tried to go pick up a pizza yesterday, and found the place shoulder-to-shoulder full with unmasked convoyers, and unmasked staff. Turned around and left, won't be going back again. Hope the two-day boost in business was worth it.

Best pizza and wings I've had in a long time. I'm here for the convoy and found most places were closed. They delivered in a timely manner and were very nice to deal with. The creamy garlic sauce is homemade and absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be back!

Pizza had a funky or a strong taste of yeast. Not a lot of sauce on the pizza either. There were lots of cheese and topping but something was just off. Wings where plain looked like they came from the grocery store you know the "PC frozen No Name "and there where two tablespoons of sauce for a pound of wings that was in the bottom of the container barely any on the wings. Was also giving PC pop not even brand name. When I called to inquire I was told he didn't want to help me and insisted that I was wrong. He then tried rectifying the situation by saying "half price on something you order next time. No thanks, my first time and last time customer. I be will telling everyone to go to dominoes instead.

This pizzeria is no joke. Ordered delivery and the food came hot and on time. So delicious I ordered another steak sub in the same night! I highly recommend

After a day of moving with a buddy, we all ordered from Ricardo’s. We really appreciated how quick they were with the order and we were all happy. I liked the Mexican pizza, but it was a bit too much going in for my taste. Nothing wrong, I think it just wasn’t my cup of tea.
The pepperoni classic was amazing, and I loved how much cheese there was on it. I absolutely loved it.

Ricardo's Pizza is always an excellent choice. I have ordered from here a few times during work lunches. The Pizza is delicious and the sides are too, their garlic sauce is very tasty. I have yet to try their pizza dough wrap sandwiches that are apparently very well know but I hear they are amazing. I will need to give this a try sometime soon. I recommend Ricardo's on their pizza alone, delicious all around!

Just a solid pie. A little pizza heaven if you will. I got a pretty basic pepperoni, mushroom and green pepper pizza and it was delicious and filling. These guys are funny - Labib has great customer service. If you’re hungry and need a slice highly recommend stopping in at Ricardo’s!

I really wanted to like this place but the cheese just tasted so strange. There was some sort of spice used in the sauce or maybe the pepperoni that made it especially difficult to eat. Sorry Richardo.

This gem has been around for decades and it's easy to see why. Unique tasty pizza sauce with just the right amount of grease and fresh toppings. All items have generous portions and very reasonable prices. Their flagship Joe's Special (bacon) "Wrap n' Roll" on a homemade flatbread led to a full lineup of wraps which are all hefty and cheap. If you are downtown you can't miss here.

A friendly family run pizza joint in Ottawa's Centretown. The pizza at Ricardo's will hit the spot of you're looking for a standard North America style pizza. Their chicken wings are also pretty good. No fuss, easy to order for pick up or delivery if you're in the neighborhood.

I just moved into the neighborhood and thought we'd order some local pizza. Ricardo's was probably the best pizza I've ever had! Super friendly when I arrived at the store and seemed like a family owned pizza shop. I look forward to ordering more food soon!

It was my second time having this Pizza and the last time, Its well made with a generous amount of cheese. However it is missing something. Its rather bland, and needs something to make it pop. Maybe a better sauce. I would suggest going somewhere else.

Very good service. Even though I'm around the corner on Laurier I love that they will deliver. Ashley gives this place two thumbs up. And their Joe sub should be renamed bacon donair. I'm going to die of a heart attack from that sub. Yum yum. Ordering agian for sure. One thing I would change is the chicken or meat on the club sandwich. Its akin to cafeteria slime. Otherwise the club sandwich platter is amazing, bacon is good. Tomatoes is fresh, just enough mayo.just the meat is weird and I always pick it out.

One of the best, if not the best, no frills, family owned pizza spots in downtown Ottawa. The dough is a little thick for my preference, so I always order thin crust. Delicious flavourful sauce and lots of cheese. Like most Ottawa pizza places, Ricardos covers the toppings with cheese. I personally enjoy this, but some may prefer crispy pepperoni on top of the cheese.

Best pizza in town! I have lived around the corner for over five years and have never been disappointed with their Meat lovers pizza. If you like lots of cheese and lots of toppings- this is the place to go. Nowhere to sit, but perfect take out. Their homemade garlic sauce is fantastic!

The pizza is amazing and it's the only thing you should order on the menu. The rest of it is just your average food. Their burgers were really dry.

As an east coaster I know a good pizza. Ricardo's made one tasty pizza. You can taste the fresh ingredients. The wings were great as well. Great deal and a nice guy. Great option within walking distance of the local hotels.

Sure, the pizza is decent but be careful when ordering two pizzas: we've been charged double because we apparently didn't specifically state, and I quote, "the two pizza special" even when ordering two same size pizzas with the toppings (as instructed on the menu) split between the two pizzas.under their two pizza special section on their menu. Going to pass both on the semantics lesson and a business that seems to struggle with doing the right thing for their customer.

I am so impressed with the quality of my pizza and garlic dip. The pizza was so cheesy and it was filled with a large amount of vegetables. It was extremely tasty. As for the garlic dip, it was very flavourful. This was my first time eating pizza in Ottawa and I can definately say that it tastes better than most pizza in Toronto.

The pizza is quite good. Im not sure what it is precisely that is making it different.feels more springy than pizza from other joints. Less greasy too.

If you order a Ricardo's Super Special Pizza with (easy cheese) you will enjoy the best pizza in Ottawa by far. Period. I live outside the city now and will try and end city visits and shopping trips with a Ricardo's pizza. I've been going here since 1995. I've tried many of other "the best in the city pizza and not many even compair. (5 stars) (take-out only)

Awful pizza.all I could taste was thick dough.toppings were skimpy.one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. Never again.

I've been coming to Ricardo's for almost 25 years. Even after moving outside of their delivery area, I still make the drive to pick up my order on a regular basis. The owners and I did an experiment with their ingredients vs those from another local chain, and Ricardo's were much less greasy. MUCH less greasy. Their crust is really fantastic and the cheese isn't pizza mozzarella. It's real mozzarella. The in-house sandwich bread is amazing as well. They used to make garlic cheese sticks from a small pizza shell when I'd ask. They are just the best.

One of the best pizza places in Ottawa. Fresh toppings, good dough, great value. Their wraps and subs are also delicious.

Hands down best pizza in Ottawa. I always get my fav; ground beef and hot peppers. I also add their homemade garlic dipping sauce. Super friendly staff and they throw in free drinks!
